A real gem between the traditional warehouse district and modern HafenCity! And a very well run, individual shop with super nice service! I always go here during my lunch break because this is where you meet the makers and many tourists from all over the world. Hopefully it stays that way in the future, with all the changes within the port! Great food and fair prices top it all off.

First meal in Hamburg and chanced upon Fleetschlösschen as it's located near the hotel I'm staying during this trip. Ordered the Fish and chip, totally changed my perspective of the traditional Fish and chips from the UK. Lightly fried thick chunk of fish instead of dory fish filled with batter. The tartar sauce was refreshing but the other sauce is definitely the star of this dish. Probably there's some curry powder in it, something different and worth the try. Fleetschlösschen is a pretty small space but cozy. And would recommend visiting then during non peak hours

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food! The selection is small, but this ensures great quality. The fish was very fresh and tasty! We’ll certainly be coming back next time we’re in town!

Very small and comfy restaurant right at the water in the Speicherstadt. The menu is small, but the food we tried was delicious. We were very positively surprised by the fisch soup in particular. The Milchreis was absolutely delicious and felt like the perfect comfort food. The service was nice and welcoming. We're looking forwards to returning.

Very good restaurant overall. It is small but very cozy and stylish inside. We had the fish and chips and the grilled salmon filet and although they didn't have salmon available (everything is fresh), they managed to do it with white salmon and it tasted vary good as well. Very fair prices and friendly staff. Would gladly come back.

Cosy little restaurant in a small iconic building amid the heritage warehouse at Hamburg harbor! The fish & chip, fried fish fillet and curry sausage was fantastic! The apple pie dessert after meal was a cherry topping to a great lunch! Strong recommendation for those in the area! The boss was gracious to get us a table even though we didn't manage to reserve one before hand. Much appreciated for his kind gesture!

Super duper friendly staff. I ordered their lunch offer of the day. Reasonable in prices. Located in a very attractive area in Hamburg. Highly recommended for craving fresh fishing on the cross line of canals. I would go there once more !

The opening hours on both Google Maps and their website are not followed! We walked 30 minutes to get there, were there at 11am on Saturday morning, the place was closed, and a grumpy guy inside said they would open in around 1 hour (so 12-ish). Not cool.

It used to be a fire station but has been nicely renovated. I think it's better to just go out and have a beer. It takes a long time to get the food and the taste is average

Lovely fish and chips restaurant, found myself surprised with the quality of the food. Both sauces were superb. Also had a nice view outside which made the experience even better.

Tried the fish and chips. The best I have ever had. Both fish and fries were tasty and very well prepared. Both sauces were to the point. Well worth the visit.

We had an Aperol Spritz and a beer and loved it there. We promised the waiter - who was soooo cool and nice - that we would come back for lunch the next day! Unfortunately, we couldn’t be back in time 🤦🏽‍♀️ We will make a point of coming back next time we are in Hamburg and we hope we can invite him for a drink then!

Well this place is a gem. The place is tiny as! But its so so cosy and just a cool place to be in. Husband and I got really lucky with two free seats inside around lunchtime (would definitely call ahead though). Everything was delicious. Our server was super friendly. The location is right on the corner of a busy intersection so its kind of amazing for absent-minded people watching. Walking upstairs to the bathroom is a bit of a challenge if you´re a klutz like me - you have to go up a narrow, winding staircase. Would love to come back again!

Very nice historical building in the of the Speicherstadt, located between St. Annenbrücke and Brooktorkaibrücke bridges. It served as a customs building to control the barges and register the goods that were transported to the warehouses.

I wasn’t looking for anywhere to eat but the smell of fish dragged me in. Tried out the fish and chips. Good fish-to-batter ratio and excellent house sauce

The best is the location which has definitely some character and is very cosy. Next is the beer, the Ratsherren amber is worth mentioning. When it comes to food, it is hard th judge since most of it was sold out already at 7:30 p. m.: salmon, potatoes, desert, even alcohol free beer. Left were tons of fries. The vegetarian options were a salad with goat cheese or fries with a bit of hummus and grilled vegetables. Well the fries were OK but over priced.

The fish and chips are great here + good prices. The servers... not so great. My friend and I sat down at the closest table to the door and got yelled at for not noticing the reserved sign. It was an honest mistake and we got lectured for it. Our server finished his shift during our meal, and the other server had us wait 15 minutes for our check after she asked us "cash or card?" We understood she had other tasks to complete, but she walked past us 9-10 times and wouldn't look at us. The servers here seemed rude- I have not experienced this anywhere else in Hamburg. Spend your money elsewhere.

We ordered the Hamburger Labskaus (interesting combination of mashed potatoes | Matjes (herring) | fried egg | Gherkin | Beets) and Poutine Sweet Potatoe Fries (with Grilled Vegetables | hummus). Authentic. Crowded. I took off a star because they didn't have several items on the menu.

Delightful location in a cosy building next to the water. A good selection of fish on the menu and very friendly staff. I had the fish and chips and the portion was generous. Tasted very fresh and the side salad served with it was also well considered and complimented the main component.

I had a great traditional Hamburg dish, and the service was brusque but very speedy and professional. Highly recommended!

Lovely little spot for food and drink. Great independent cafe. Had frites and beer/rosé whilst there and all were great. Best bit about this place is the staff are very friendly and our server spoke perfect English which made our experience smoother. Not a noisy place despite the size. Toilets were also nice and clean. Would definitely go back for a larger plate of food!

Super find! What a great little place. After walking in and out of a couple of highly rated and highly priced places, we ended up here. Reasonably priced quality food, friendly staff and super fast service. Nice choices for beer and wine. Being a bit burned on ordering things that aren't what we expect, the menu is clear, staff is friendly and food was great. After being burned on "meatloaf" elsewhere, we were conservative with the fish and chips. Nice portions, fresh, really nicely battered fish. Chips were hot and lightly seasoned, served with a small salad that had a nice balsamic vinaigrette. I'm sensitive to harsh vinegars and this was lovely.

I went with my family and as soon as we walked through the door, we got greeted very warmly and friendly. Our waiter was very attentive, had great suggestions and new his menu well. The restaurant has tops like 12 mini tables and you feel very cosy sitting, chatting and just looking around. It used to be Hamburg's most expensive public look🙈. And now after the custom boarders are open and have shifted they converted it into this tiny restaurant. Menu is all around fish and some Hamburger classic dishes
