Pros: Room was very nice, owner allowed us to check in later than expected, location is very convenient Cons: Our room was right over the hotel's wine bar, which played really loud music until midnight, with people milling around loudly outside until ~1AM both nights of our stay. It was like trying to sleep above a nightclub. I'd expect the same to be true of any other room in the courtyard, that's how loud it was. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others, unless you are an exceptionally sound sleeper or a night owl.

I absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful unique little hotel. The bed was very comfortable! The room was warm and welcoming. Loved the kitchenette with real cream in the fridge. The wine bar was great with awesome entertainment. I would give this charming place 10 stars.

My husband and I booked a room at The Quincy Courtyard Suites on a Friday night while visiting our daughter who attends Feather River. The room was spacious, clean and quaint. The setting is an upstairs location tucked into a town nook. The service was sensational as the receptionist on duty called to ask our arrival time and prepared the room. There is a propane driven fire place/heater which added ambiance and heat. I loved that the room had a kitchenette just the perfect size for a getaway weekend. The room does sit above a wine bar, but by the time we arrived at 10. All was peaceful and quiet. We will definitely stay there again!!!

This place is an absolute delight! The photos do not do it justice!!! The bed is super comfortable, and the room is spacious and perfectly appointed. The in-room fireplace is a lovely touch. The double doors open onto the courtyard. I highly recommend!

My husband and I were in this area this last weekend to scatter my sister's ashes. We had planned on staying out in the forest but a surprise storm caught us and we decided to come into town instead. It was just after 7:00 at this point and we wanted to stop. Not knowing Quincy, I Googled hotels and Quincy Courtyard Suites came up first and was closest! They were having a music event and there was a wine bar too! We went to the wine bar (that's where you have to check in) and told them we needed a room for the night. They took our credit card and gave us the keys. We got a glass of wine and listened to some music. A short while later I was taken up to the room, shown around (it was a two bedroom, huge apartment like room! ) and told how the back door would allow us to get to where the car was parked so we could bring our things up easier. I explained we didn't have much as we were planning on camping. I went back downstairs and started my second glass of wine. By this time we had been there about an hour and a half when my husband, who had been in the bar, came out to get me and said there was a problem. I was approached by the manager who told me unfortunately we were given a room that had been reserved by someone else and we would have to leave. I reminded her we had been drinking, didn't know the area and wanted to know how she thought we should resolve it. It ended up taking about 30 minutes to resolve because the owner, once he got involved, somehow thought it was our fault, but he finally got us a room at another local hotel a few blocks away. That would have been a great resolution to the story, but instead we now find ourselves having to take time and figure out how to get our money back because they CHARGED us for a room we didn't even use! It could have been a great way to celebrate my sister... and we did elsewhere, but instead we have this ugly memory to cloud it.

Traveling through Quincy for work, this was an ideal location in the heart of town for me and my coworker to stay at. With travel options limited in town, we were able to split the apartment-like room, which was great for us to relax and unwind after after a day in the field and still have our own private rooms to retire to. The owner was accommodating to our needs, and we enjoyed the close proximity to the food options in town. I would definitely stay at this location again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and upscale place to stay in the heart of Quincy. Parking and where to check-in was a little confusing, but not a major inconvenience by any means.

We loved this place. We stayed in the 2 bedroom and it is very big! Love the full size kitchen and living area. The couches are very comfortable. The patio overlooks downtown and the county building, and has a great view of the surrounding mountains. Right smack in the middle of downtown Quincy, it can't be located any better. The wine bar downstairs is beautiful and delicious. Can't wait to return!

Barbara was so kind to work with me on a studio that was available when I found out that my usual motel was booked. Wow! Great place, clean, spacious and romantic with the French style courtyard and live music! The Knook and Sweet Lorraine’s a hop skip and jump for wonderful food. Thanks again, much obliged. Jim
