The
store
has
advertisements
that
everything
must
go.
When
I
walked
into
the
store,
the
first
person
I
encountered
was
a
big
guy
wearing
jeans
and
a
t-shirt.
He
treated
me
as
if
I
were
invisible.
Not
a
greeting,
a
smile,
nothing.
As
I
continued
walking
through
the
store,
I
noticed
several
mattresses
laying
on
the
showroom
floor.
I
then
encountered
a
very
friendly
man
in
a
suit.
He
asked
me
what
I
was
looking
for
and
I
told
him.
He
showed
me
a
frame
and
I
wanted
to
buy
it.
When
he
checked
inventory,
he
said
they
would
have
to
order
it
and
i
could
have
it
in
2
to
3
days.
I
declined.
Well
then
he
asked
the
big
guy
if
he
could
sell
me
the
display.
This
man
said
no
because
there
was
nothing
to
put
in
its
place.
And
he
still
never
made
eye
contact.
He
was
walking
away
as
he
answered
the
question.
I
feel
like
if
my
skin
had
been
a
different
color,
then
it
would
have
been
no
problem.
They
had
mattresses
laying
on
the
showroom
floor,
but
the
mattresses
back
in
the
sleep
center
had
to
be
on
a
frame.
Make
it
make
sense.
