This was a disappointment to the Marriot brand. Dirty and very dated. Room smelled of mildew and mold. Would recommend trying somewhere else if you are accustomed to a better hotel than Super 8.

Not a nice motel. Upcharged me after i had reservations and wants to return $9 when the upcharge was $35. Gravy was cold for breakfast... would not stay here!

The hotel was in a good area. The room could have been cleaner. The makeup wash cloth provided in the bathroom was very dirty. Once soaked in water and rinsed a ton of brown water came out. Had to use something else. The beds are very firm. The included breakfast was great and had a very good variety.

This is an old, rundown and not well maintained hotel. The hotel room doors are the loudest I have ever heard and you can hear and feel the occupants walking in the nearby rooms. The entry ways and elevators are filthy. Avoid if you can.

Bad experience at this place. I wouldn’t recommend having a birthday party here my daughter had hers in March and I mainly did it for the pool. Get to find out it was down for months and now it’s up. 😡 plus some employees doesn’t do there job. I’ll be doing my kids party somewhere else for sure. And the year before that I had her party there the chlorine was very very very strong. 🤦🏻‍♀️😡

I've traveled a lot and this place impressed me. Rooms were some of the cleanest I've seen. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the area and worth going out of the way for a comfortable place to crash. Room had microwave and mini fridge and a huge TV that looked brand nnew.Rooms were honestly nicer than some places I've paid twice as much for. 6/5 stars highly recommend

Everytime I rent a hotel room for my daughter the pool is never opened or they put too much chlorine in it. I just rented a party for my daughter and her party next week and her not her party can’t swim. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere 😡

Great stay here the week of Feb 27th. Myself and 3 colleagues stayed here while we were at training at Gates Air in Quincy, Illinois. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful! Their breakfast setup included scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage(depends on the day) and their awesome coffee! They also had cold cereal, make your own waffles and fresh fruit! Our rooms included free wi fi, free Showtime on the TV and awesome queen size bed! Plenty of places to dine nearby...check the Fairfield Inn by Marriot-Quincy next time you need a great place to stay!!

What a find. Great hotel with a staff that understands hospitality. They provide the service their customers need! Not those recommended by Marriot! Great place.

Cannot give it five stars due to the age of the rooms, lack of plugs for devices, and boring breakfasts but overall a good experience staying here. Convenient location in town, and next door to food options. Not the quietest hotel, but they do try and provide good customer service. Would recommend staying here if you're in town.

Hotel was nice but not as expected from a Marriott. There was someone living/camping in the corner of the parking lot. The pool area needs better ventilation, the chlorine killed my asthma, even a door to open to the outside would be nice. I understand the importance of chlorine in a public pool but you cant enjoy it if you cant breathe. There must be a gym directly above us, or that is what it sounded like. Both the tub and sink drained very slowly. Shower was a bath by the time I got done. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were very watery.

Hotel front desk woman YOSHI - rude and terrible service. I felt burdensome when I asked to change rooms after being there 4 nights. No need to argue with me. No issues with the room just wanted a different room. I cancelled remaining nights, also cancelled extension for next week. Cancelled 2 week reservations with several technicians based on her shifty attitude. Rather give Holiday Inn my hard earned money, at least they have friendly front desk. The overnight guy was great, the 3rd floor new housekeeper was awesome, the cooks at breakfast was sweet. One rude angry employee lady ruined my stay.

We were there for our daughters wedding nearby and arrived late due to travel issues. There was a problem with the toilet in our assigned room. The desk clerk, yoshi, quickly found us another room and was also able to find us a room for an unexpected guest. She was so sweet. Great service! She was awesome!

Older hotel in downtown Quincey. Serviceable, but needs better cleaning. Hair in bathroom…not mine.😳

Had an unpleasant circumstance. Management contacted me with an apology and offered excellent customer service. Would recommend reaching out to management immediately if you do have any issues.

Over all great hotel except the one desk lady. Room great and clean. Breakfast omg the best I have at a hotel in a very long time. The lady working the breakfast area also amazing. Now what kinda up set me. We were there for my father's funeral. Saturday night August 26th just wanted to get in the hot tube and relax. Went to swimming area and there was nothing saying the hot tub was closed. Read the instructions and nothing. Went and talked to the lady at the desk around 9:30. She tells me I never go in there so I don't know why it's not working. I asked her am I just doing it wrong or has it been broke. She says I don't know. My thing is if it was broke then there should of been a sign, or she could of came and put one up. She did nothing but sit there. Other than that I would of gave 5 stars.
