My husband had a very early surgery time, so we basically just needed a clean room with a mini fridge. We got just that. Upon arrival, in which we were early, they allowed us to check in before time, which was very nice. Vending machines were fully stocked (prices varied). Our Queen Suite was flawed but functional. When we got in the room, everything was shut off, the fridge & air conditioning took a good half hour to get going. Once it was going, it was satisfying. A few outlets didn't work. Lighting was very dim. The bed was super comfortable. Our riverside view was filled with trees and a dirty window. We had to keep opening the back of the toilet, after we flushed because the hose wasn't filling up the tank properly. We did not get to enjoy the pool or breakfast, due to our early exit. The front desk lady was super nice when we arrived and the morning desk attendant was very cheery, checkout was smooth and the price of stay was reasonable.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. The hair dryer was smashed but a temporary was provided. The breakfast was uninspired with mostly garbage food. If I were diabetic, other than black coffee there were no options. We ate at a local restaurant. No coffee machine in the room. Staff were generally present. There were no paper towels or sanitizer in the "gym." This is a tired hotel and should cost $75 a night. We won't pick it again when we go to Quincy.

Room walls were disgusting!!! Front staff very friendly very nice. Couldn’t figure out what was on the walls maybe you take a guess. Shower tub had other peoples hair all over it. Not worth the price. Signed a paper for absolutely no smoking but my room smelled like an ashtray and you could smell weed in the hallways.

We read the reviews prior & were apprehensive because of cleanliness comments. We found it to be a generally, very clean hotel. The people were friendly as stated. The room definitely had an unpleasant smell :( Water was not free even during breakfast. That was a let down. Water is a must ! I’m giving 5 stars because your rating you currently have isn’t fair.

I didn't realize "Micro" wasn't just a name. The rooms are tiny, I couldn't even squeezed the luggage cart inside. For the price, I'd say it's fair, just understand that it's a very basic room. If you're like 300+ pounds, you might not fit in the door. Other then the size, it was clean, and the service was fine.

Some rooms are super quiet but others are really noisy. Can hear other people talking through the walls. Side door slams and keypad has been broken with wires hanging out for at least a year so it just locks you out. Location is far from any stores. Beds are comfy. I've gotten really good sleep here and also very poor sleep. I stay every month. Sometimes twice a month.

We travel with our very well manner dog and it's a challenge finding a hotel that's not a complete dump. This very nice hotel was nice for the price. It was fairly clean, the staff worked hard and were pleasant, our bed was comfortable and the linens decent. We had a wonderfully hot shower and the breakfast was pretty good. (The coffee wasn't that great though.) The surrounding area was run down in part, but we thought our hotel was decently maintained. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

All in all, it's not a bad place. Suites, if you get one are basic, clean and nice to have. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-In does take sometime for whatever reason. Biggest issue I had was a few roaches in the room and hot water was not working in the AM. I would probably give it 1 more shot staying there, but I will wait a little bit.

We needed a place to crash at from traveling and the room was spotted with blood, broken walls. We got a king size bed instead of a queen size. The sink was dirty bath tub had a dead bug. And we were treated rude.

It’s not hard to figure out that when you pull up, it’s not what you thought you booked. “No smoking” rooms, smell like smoke or marijuana. Pillows, brutal. They’ve all been washed too many times and are disfigured. Bath drain is a chore and the overall feel is dated and dingy. My shampoo they so nicely left for me was almost empty with goo on it. I had to run to Walgreens. This is more of a Motel 6, definitely not a Wyndham property. Side note, it seems people are living here on discounted rates. Children screaming in a room and another when they opened the door looked like 10 people were living in there. Never again….

My room was excellent. The service was great and the view of the bridge over the water was breathtaking . Everyone was very friendly and I had my dog and there was no issues whatsoever. I will definitely stay again.

Ryan at the front desk, great job! Staff personnel too very friendly & pleasant. Honestly the nicest motel with or with our 4 legged child we’ve stayed at it a long time. Plenty of parking and lighting

Considering the location is very run down I had a good stay. the staff was friendly and helpful. The price was good. My complaints would be in the room itself. the lighting is very poor. The TV is old and there is no technology, barely enough outlets for your laptop.

Tolerable. Traveled for work. Would not choose for a personal stay. No protein options for breakfast. Room felt like a prison cell. Hotels on either side are abandoned. Area not the safest. Staff super friendly and helpful.

We love this hotel! Very easy to get too. Wonderful staff and a warm greeting every time. Love coming here for the jacuzzi they have! It's huge and it feels like heaven when you get in. It also has a wonderful BBQ restaurant next door which the food is amazing! This is our little get away when we come here. Will come back again for sure! OH, and the view of the Mississippi river is amazing!

Please choose another hotel. I came here for work and stayed a week with my team. The rooms are poorly insulted so you hear EVERYTHING, they had no protein for breakfast besides peanut butter... so they're basically serving you waffles by themselves, and they allow tenants who have no control over their dogs to stay on the property. We worked overnight, so having a dog barking all afternoon isn't ideal. I called down to the front desk 3 times and spoke with management and they did NOTHING about it. They claimed they was going to ask the tenant to leave but she was definitely still there when I checked out.

No desks/office chairs. Kitchen style chairs in the rooms are the flimsiest I've ever seen. Carpet & wall paint is woefully drab. Place is in a great riverside location with a great BBQ restaurant across the parking lot, but the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired.

Our room had bed bugs. Unfortunately, we didn’t notice until the morning after. I let the front desk know and he said “I’m sorry about that” and looked down at his computer. Unprofessional and disgusting. We had to throw our suit case away because I’m not risking it. I will not return and I would suggest nobody stay here considering they were not concerned at all about having bugs. I would rate 0 if I could. I don’t know who I need to call or report this too but I promise you I will be.

There was a bug crawling up the wall of my room. The runner at the bottom of the bed was stained. The decor in the room looks like it was from the 70s and didn’t match itself. We had to switch rooms because the original room smelled like strong must as soon as we walked in. The person at the front desk gave me the runaround about getting a key and lied and said there was only one allowed per room. The person at the front desk also gave out personal information of guest staying at the hotel to someone who randomly called about getting a room. We were there for a surprise party and because he gave that information out the surprise was ruined.I chose the hotel because of the pool but after seeing the way the room looked I was afraid to even go swimming because I didn’t think it would be clean. This hotel was a big disappointment. The only good thing was the complementary breakfast.

I had booked a king suite and the ac wasn't working in it. It wasn't until it got 83 in my room that the hotel decided to switch me rooms. To a regular room. Didn't offer any price difference and the new room the shower curtain was ripped off the wall. The fixtures were falling out of the shower. After I made it home they did offer a refund. It wasn't about that to begin with. I do appreciate the refund though. Will not stay again, but thank you all for finally paying attention to some of the situation.

So when we arrived we walked into a dirty room. Immediately went to front desk and they gave me a room with made beds at least. There was stains every where on the beds the towels even had brown stains. I couldn't even shower. The room did not look clean like the pictures on internet. The room was just dirty. We didn't even try breakfast because room was so bad we didn't trust what breakfast would be like. If I could have gotten my money back I would have. I needed a room close to my daughter who was having a medical emergency so I guess the location would be a plus. The receptionist was nice but was very busy so after having to tell them they gave us a room that had not been cleaned by house keeping the first time I mean beds were unmade and towels on the floor. I wasn't wanting to complain again with the towels and stains everywhere. I paid 145.00 for the night for 2 queens now if I had paid 60 a night that might have been more appropriate. I won't be back. I immediately drove home the 3 hours and showered to feel clean and took a nap.. I would not give a dime to this hotel again. I paid and got nothing that a hotel is supposed to offer. Your supposed to get some sleep and take a shower and I got neither. Sorry for repeating just so very disgusted and upset by this experience. So rent at your own risk.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff did an exceptional job taking care of my needs and went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. My room was clean and overall well-kept. The building itself was also very clean and presentable. I love that you can see the Mississippi river from the hotel room as well! Would definitely stay here again!

I wouldn't recommend this place. It needs alot of updating for the price that they charge. The breakfast wasn't good either. The beds are comfortable but bring your own pillows. If your in this town, check it out because it has some beautiful buildings. We ate at Native grill and wings. I highly recommend that place! The food was delicious and good atmosphere

I came to Quincy for an event. I was hoping to stay close to the Oakley Lindsay center. This was really close! I actually walked there without any issues. This hotel had a great rate when everyone at the time was much higher. The room was clean and the heater worked amazingly well considering how cold it was outside. The employees were helpful and gave me extra towels when I requested. They did have a breakfast, the waffles were great! I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family.

I'm a traveling IT guy and decided to choose the Microtel because of the great price. I ended up staying 4 nights and was quite impressed. I usually stay in a more expensive hotel in the Quincy area but will be staying at the Microtel again on my next visit. The staff was friendly and very helpful with selecting a place for dinner. I managed to find good food close by! The room was clean and ready for me on arrival. The bed was comfortable and the Hotel was as quiet as a mouse during the night. I have ZERO complaints. Overall a great stay and a great value. I'll see you guys again soon!
