Nice place to spend a day with children, there are many places for them to play and learn, you can spend a whole day until 5pm, you don't feel the time and the children enjoy it a lot, small and up to 12 years old.

A hidden gem. Wonderful place to go with kids. The "Guaguas" section was a hit, specially for toddlers.

Old building. It was a factory. You can find some games to understand physics. But some of them need maintenance. Also, explanations could be better. You can find Quito in a big model. And you can train your brain with mental games. If you are in a big group of people, you could ask for a guidance tour. The gardens and kids area need maintenance.

Entertaining place to be accompanied, preferably, learn about science in an entertaining way and enjoy interactive games while you work your mind. I recommend periodic maintenance of the attractions, as several of them were worn out or incomplete.

A city hidden jewel. Great for kids. Interesting activities and exhibits. Highlight is brain/mind section and city scale model show with lights. Don't miss the live science show. Half a day is enough though. Not very known to taxi drivers and locals. Not easy to get a cab once you are there. Not a great neighborhood.

We went on an off day so we were the only ones there with our 4-year old. The Transportation exhibit was marvelous, the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable for the most part. We felt welcomed. It was also very clean. Some of the exhibits were closed or non functional.

It's a great place to take your kids - they'll love a 'museum' where you actually get to touch everything. We were there for a couple of hours. Only downside is that there are no explanations in English.

This isn't what you'd expect in the US, but it is one of the best museums in Ecuador. They have interactive things for toddlers, kids, and Grandma, too! They also have a wonderful exhibit on the metro including a station and car.
