A pleasant night in Rabat centre at Enoteca. For a more private affair i would recommend staying downstairs in their cellar! It looks gorgeous. Enjoyed their selection of cheeses and found the homemade sausages especially tasty.

In the heart of Rabat we find this hidden gem. It's a wine bar the name is in Italian (Enoteca) but that is what it is. And it's wonderful. The owner was really friendly, courteous and helpful. They have a nice selection of wine, I personally tasted a local white wine as you can see. The price I paid the bottle was the right price to charge. We had a panini and a local nice focaccia. All was made with fresh hight quality ingredients and you could feel it. The ingredients in the panini were a lovely mix of flavour. And you could feel it was made with love. And love maybe require times, but it for sure with it.

Visited this little gem in the center of Rabat. The place: Seating outside for the sunny days and suggestive seating inside of what it look like a cellar/cave. The food: We had a taste of some starters and of the vegan platter with homemade cheese and seitan, the main course were also really good and tasty. Definitely there was research towards vegan food from the owners! The wine: a selection of amazing wine from all over the world from the owner that, I can tell you that, can teach us a thing or two about wines. The owners: a really passionate and knowledgeable couple which their main focus is to give an experience to the customer. You can see they put they’re heart in what they are doing. Pointless to say, you’ve gained two new customers and hopefully many more! Thank you for your hard work guys!

Amazing concept of dining where Niko manages & puts a personal touch in the food and beverages served at L’Enoteca. The platters are without any shred of doubt the best served in the Maltese Islands. All cold cuts are prepared , smoked and dry aged in-house whilst most of the cheese I believe are either prepared in the same way or are craft cheese. Same positive praises are the way food is presented and the customer service is 2nd to none. This is our 3rd time visiting in a short span of time and surely not our last. Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic wine bar with the best craft platters, fine wines and a cosy environment with hospitable staff.

As romantic as it can get, if you go downstairs and enjoy the atmosphere. Place is actually part of the old catacombs, which makes it even more interesting. Staff is very friendly and the platters are really great. P.S. Make sure you try the Burrata platter! 🤤

Such tasty dishes and suuper kind service, absolutely loved this enoteca! The focaccia platter for 2, the burrata with honey and the terrine were absolutely delicious. Fully recommend, nice small terrace, in a cozy little hidden corner of Rabat (&an inside cave, but we didn’t get to see it)

What a delicious treat. We needed a respite fro the heat and it was fantastic. The local wine was great and focaccias were incredible. Also super clean bathrooms.

One of the best if not the best wine bars around. Food is loaded with Balkan flare while wine choices can surprise even the heavy enthusiast. Host was helpful and accommodated our toddler. Will definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic food&perfect service! Randomly found restaurant during roaming around Rabat. From the start smile on owner's face (despite wearing a mask 😁) and sense of good vibes. Our choice was Salami pizza made from just 3 ingredients... TBH best pizza I've ever eaten! I highly recommend this place, it was nice and neat, it's "must to visit" restaurant.

Lovely hosts and delicious food. The underground cave is a lovely dining experience for a special occasion or night out with friends. Highly recommend Niko and the team as we had the pleasure of celebrating NYE there.

Great venue! Love the cellar where you can pick your own wine. The Stracciatella is epic! Would 100% recommend this place….pick a nice wine, sit back and enjoy.

Great little bar 2 minutes from the main square in Rabat. It has a menu focused around focaccia, a couple of main dishes like pork belly, 2 pizzas and some sharing plates of cheese and/or meats. Pleasant location and lovely staff who were more than happy to put together a salad that wasn’t on the menu. 4 glasses of wine, 1 pizza, pork belly and salad for €60 including tip.

By far the best wine bar on the island. Unique in every way, very authentic and you can definitely see a passion for good food and wine from the owners. One of the most genuine places on the island. If you're looking to try out new and unique foods, which you probably won't find in any other local restaurant or wine bar, this is the place to be.

A-mazing! Food was platters with single plates. Got to choose our wine as they have a different ones everyday. Locally sourced produce from malta and Gozo. Honey was better than any I have tested in a long time 5 stars boys! Owners are so nice made our night.

I came across this beautiful quaint restaurant/wine bar through a recommendation and could not have been more impressed! It was cosy, romantic, ambient and the food & wine were sensational. It exceeded all of our expectations and we are so grateful to have spent our last night in Malta in this restaurant. Niko was lovely and attentive and made sure my partner who is gluten-free had enough options - I couldn’t recommend enough!

A solid 4.5 from me. An excellent vegan menu, with lots of love put into it. Everything is fresh, using seasonal produce. The flavors are great as well! Props on the vegan mozzarella sticks, they were wonderful. Especially the mushroom gnocchi (if i recall correctly). Excellent dining experience, albeit the service being a bit slow. (I understand that some days can be very busy.) One thing I would comment about would be portion size, I understand that the approach might be more of a quality over quantity, but a small increase in portion size would be very well received. (For example the potato serving with the schnitzel balls, and honestly I do not mean to offend you or your business model.. i might just be a very hungry person overall). Ultimately this is a well recommend place, especially for vegans. His dessert is truly amazing, if you have the chance to try his strawberry cake please do so as it is amazing. There is also a huge selection of gin, which I quite enjoyed!

FANTASTIC food. Absolutely insane flavours, quite extraordinary indeed. However we had quite a lengthy waiting time for our food. Wont stop me from returning as the lovely ambience kept us going.

We decided to sit here for a drinks just because of good location, but menu looked nice, so we ordered some food and surprisingly it was one of the best dining experiences during our stay in Malta. Also service was excellent. Definitely recommend!
