I think this restaurant is worth a visit. The dining room is cozy and inviting. Waitstaff was young and inexperienced, but friendly and accommodating. Both the pumpkin soup and beef brisket were special and delicious. The lamb chops were also very good and served a perfect medium rare. The scallops were disappointing. The overall dish just isn't quite right with the andouille rice, and the scallops were over salted. They were perfectly seared though. Overall, the kitchen staff executed the menu very well. I will probably go back to try some of the other items.

I celebrated my Birthday here on Monday. Thank goodness Vero was an option as most places are closed on Monday. This was my 1st Visit of many more! I Love the way the menu is set up with small appetizer sized shareable dishes so you can order many and share! This wasn't the highlight.... the delectable food bursting with a unique and extremely wonderful medley of flavors in every single bite! We started with the "Bourbon Candied Brisket" , "Exotic Fried Empanadas" and the "Island Shrimp" then added the "Saffron Shroom Toast" and "Cucumber Sliders" I can't explain the flavor explosions involved with every bite! Only regret is that I didn't take photos of the beautiful presentation and deliciousness we experienced so I could share with others. I am very impressed at the quality and uniqueness of the items on this menu. For the (3) of us, the bill came to around $80 and that included a beer and High Ball. The service was great and the server was very knowledgeable of the menu items and drink specialties as well. The Hostess was especially inviting when we walked in the door. This is definitely a new treasure here in Racine to enjoy! Highly Recommend if you like high quality, unique dishes from around the world you can not get anywhere else around!

It was such an uplift to know that we have a fine restaurant to open in the Racine downtown area, finally. Walking in to Vero International restaurant, I was absolutely surprised with the unique and upscale ambiance of Vero from the decor to the welcome by the manager and my server. Had the "Lamb Lollipops" which were perfectly prepared, absolutely delicious, not. at all greasy or fatty. Loved it ! Another order was the "Snow Crab Claw Martine" and...another very scrumptious selection. The "Cassava Frita" was very new to me, but, I think I liked that dish better than French fries (and I love French fries). Lastly, for desert I chose the "Plantains Foster", just amazing ! My server, Bailey, was very attentive and provided me with very good information about the menu items. She made sure that my drink order change was perfect and just gave me great service. I was totally satisfied and so ecstatic that we have such an excellent restaurant in the heart of downtown Racine. I will be a frequent customer.

Wow! What a great re-opening of this fantastic fusion-type eatery. Enjoyed so many different dishes off the new menu. Delicious and variety of flavors. Highly recommended and open on Mondays in downtown Racine. Do yourself a favor and check it out with friends and family.

Wow! You need to run here NOW! We ordered the following: cucumber sliders, saffron shroom toast, Thai chicken, lamb lollipops, and coconut shrimp. The ambiance is wonderful, great lighting, and service is BEYOND! 10/10

So many interesting dishes, flavors, things you don’t see in southeastern Wisconsin. Delicious combinations. Excellent craft cocktails. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the acoustics were fantastic.

My fiance took me to check out the "new" Vero for a cocktail. It was a pleasant treat. Sandy was very welcoming with a boost of energy! Her ambition to make healthier drink choices was very intriging. She even changed the bar lights to our favorite colors. We loved the Cuban manhattan & the berry drop! We'll be back to try their food next time we're in town!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Food was outstanding! I especially loved empanadas and corn chowder with lobster! Service was flawless. Great wine selection. Highly recommend Vero International Cafe.
