Updated Review - 6/17/23: Ivanhoe is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is incredible. The food is delicious. And the service is amazing. Super friendly. Helpful. And fun. The food is super delicious! Everything I have ever ordered there has been incredible. I could go to Ivanhoe and spend most of the time just looking at all the cool stuff they have on the walls. Plenty of tables and booths. The restrooms were clean. The parking is sometimes a little hard to find on Main St…. but there are parking garages close by. I highly recommend eating at The Ivanhoe Pub & Eatery! ————————————————————————— Updated Review - 5/23/23: This will kind of a strange review…. because all we ordered was two Caesar salads to go. They just sounded delicious and we knew how great they are from Ivanhoe Pub…. so, that was all we needed. AND…. We were happy we did. They were both incredible! Mmmm!!! Stopped by this little gem for St. Patty's Day meal (2022) on my lunch break from work. Let's start with the staff...staff were awesome. Everyone was in outfit and made the effort to keep you happy. I almost bought a kilt as well. The food was AMAZING. I only eat corned beef and cabbage once a year. This was some of the best ever. Very generous portions and extremely tasty. The Irish stew was very good as well. The bread on the side was good too. I've eaten hear before but was nit compelled to write a review until this visit. Keep up the great work guys and gals

I was in Racine for work and someone recommended I check out the Ivanhoe Pub. I'm glad I did! You immediately notice the great atmosphere on entry. That was followed up with friendly service, good food, and a nice selection of beer!

The staff here is so great! I had just had terrible service at another bar, so this was a nice change. We were waited on immediately and with a smile

This Is a nice little pub. Staff was great! Food was decent. Other patrons a bit on the loud side and the streaming music was DEFINITELY not befitting of the atmosphere. 3 meals , app, and 3 cokes was about $60.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick drink and some light food. Food, drinks and specialty drink menu with lots of options to satisfy most any appetite or thirst. Shepherds pie was delicious, so was the Ho-bread. We had a couple of the other specialty martinis, etc.. The only real issue I had is that I strongly dislike "service fees" being added to the bill without someone at least telling us they have been added. The service fee, although not calculated exactly, was about 7-8%. If the server tells us the fee was added, I don't have as much of a problem with it. However, just to add it to the bill and not say anything seems as though you are working for the "double tip" and hoping customers don't notice.... an otherwise very pleasant afternoon ended with a small sour taste because of this. I'm not sure where the fee goes, but I can only assume it goes to the servers? So I adjusted the tip accordingly. That being said, the food was good and the service was friendly so I would certainly stop back if I was in the area again.

Service was outstanding. Hannah was polite, friendly and did a terrific job. Unfortunately we can't say the same about the burgers. Asked if we wanted pink in the burgers and we both said yes. They came out like hockey pucks. One of the burgers was supposed to have a special sauce and it didn't have any sauce. Do have to say the poutine with Irish curry was very good. Would give a one or two star, but the service deserved the three stars. Our visit was on Saturday 3/12/22 around 2pm.

Great old bar. Gives you a real feel of an Irish pub. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Drinks are about half the price of the hotels nearby.

Just a great neighborhood bar pub. Friendly, easy-going, and fun. Different nights with different reasons. Don't be misled, plenty of high-end spirits in stock, as well as your usual suspects. There are tons of fun and great value overall.

Visited ivanhoes on a slow Monday night with my girlfriend for a couple drinks after work and had a pretty good time being as we were the only two people there. The atmosphere was nice with plenty of space to move around and our bartender was kind and polite plus was dressed like he came from the seventies which I thought was cool also while I did not have a chance to try the food since the kitchen was closed when we got there I did look over their menu and they do have many choices that sounded very appealing with plenty of Irish options if thats what you're looking for but my only reason for the three star review is that when the tab was closed out there was only a total price but nowhere that showed how much each drink costs which I feel like would have been helpful information. I would like to come back to play their bingo one day but would recommend that they add the price of each individual item to your total bill so you know exactly what you paid for.

Server was excellent. Museum like inside with lots of interesting artifacts to look at. The place is a bit tired and bathrooms smell like a zoo. But I’d return for a beverage - they serve a nice variety of beers.

Stopped in 2 weeks ago fish fry. Ordered a appetizer. Only 15 peope inside. Fish dinner awesome, but it took 30 mins. appitezer was not delivered until after dinner was finished. We refused it. They tried to push cold putine 2 times. We said no ! They seemed mad. Not our fault. Stopped in last night at 630pm. Walked in sat down. Bartender saw us nothing. Waitress girl with huge hair....nothing. looked at me 3 times, nothing. We waited 15 mintues. We got our coats on and walked out. Nothing ?? Ok..... Not happy

We stopped in to kill some time waiting for some friends and order some drinks and a nacho at the bar. Service was welcoming and friendly and the nachos were HUGE and delicious.

This is a True Emerald. The food is legit Irish. The place is beautiful inside. People and the bartenders etc. Extremely friendly.

I’m enjoying it. If you need a kilt, you can get one here. Approx. $75. Full martini menu.

The food was delicious - plentiful, tasty, and a wide variety to choose from. We brought our granddaughters (3 and 9) so we sat in a booth in the corner, and the waitress treated the girls so nicely! We all had a fun and relaxing time. Will def be back by ourselves!

Nice atmosphere. Good beer selection. Friday fish fry was more authentic than most pubs. Best to go off peak, as the friendly wait staff can get a bit overwhelmed.

Good drinks. I enjoyed my s’mores martini. Ordered two apps. Cheese curds came after awhile - they were great! Our other app, the nachos, and the food took 20-30 more minutes. Only one other group in the building. Drinks were all gone and no check ins for more or waters. Food came out at different times. The nachos were terrible - burnt chicken! The wraps weren’t great either. Some others in our party enjoyed their food. We had a good experience the last time we visited. All agreed we will likely not return.

The night we went was REALLY busy and there was only one waitress at the time. My dad has food allergies, so our order was slightly complicated. Not only was everything 100% perfect, but she did it all without taking any notes! And she kept a smile.on her face the whole time, was attentive, and made sure everyone was taken care of quickly despite being by herself. We will DEFINITELY be back soon!!!!!

I was blown away by the amazing food menu. I’ve eaten here previously, but only ever ordered a ribeye dinner. I branched out and we ordered the meatloaf (pictured half devoured) and bangers and mash. Not only are the prices excellent, but the food was so good we called back to give our compliments. The portions are large, and they gave us asparagus as a veggie! The Lambeau stew is something everyone must try.

All my life I have heard the rumors of how good the Ivanho's food was. It wasn't until a few days ago when I finally had the opportunity to try it. To be exact it surly didn't disappoint! Infact it was better then I could have imagined. I ordered the shepherds pie it came with a nice rustic bread toasted to my liking. The pie itself was hands down the best Shepard's pie I ever enjoyed. The waitress was very personable, funny, adaptive, she really sold the Pub feel. At one point she even referenced a joke I made much earlier. Overall the meal and service were second to none it really left me wanting more literally, and figuratively. that's is my only complaint the portion for the price wasn't half as impressive as the rest of my experience. But I knows that's just the price of quality. Nevertheless I highly recommend you start or end your night and the famous one and only Racine Pub. 4.75* due to portion sizes.
