If you are looking for plumbing expertise, a good customer experience and value for money I can’t recommend Lacey plumbing and heating enough. I have just had all my very old radiators replaced by them. I needed two of the radiators removing to allow the walls behind to be plastered and painted. After I accepted their estimate, my original plasterer let me down. Lacey’s were really patient, kept in touch and when I eventually found a plasterer, Matt organised the work around him to ensure I was without heating for the shortest time possible. Danny did the work with minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. I can’t believe how quickly he worked, especially as the bedroom radiators were hidden by beds and built in furniture. He tidied up after himself and even managed to tidy up the previous unsightly pipe work. From start to finish everyone I have spoken to from Lacey’s has been friendly, helpful and professional. They turn up when they say they will and do what they promise.

Easy to arrange visit, engineer arrived on time on the 15th September 2023, very pleasant and professional, no mess left after visit and he explained what he was doing as he went along. This was our 5th annual service visit and every one has been completed to the same standard. Thanks Phil Simmons

The old heating system was a mess and needed replacing and a lot of other jobs doing. Lacey Plumbing were happy to do everything that was needed to get the new system fitted and everything working as it should. Now the only decision that we have is whether to board the pipes in so that you don't see them or to paint behind them and leave them exposed as a feature - they look so neat!

The company contacted me back with a time and date of the work. They actually carried out the work a day earlier after checking I was ok with that. They kept me informed of any delays so that I could organise my day. Peter, who did the work, was friendly, informative and cleared up after himself.

Mike came promptly and on time to look at our condemned boiler and we got an acceptable quote from Laceys the following day. Our new boiler arrived a few days later and Daniel was with us on time to remove the old one and install the new one. The job was done in the day as promised. Input from Mike about the flue gas plume kit, and from Daniel regarding siting the magnetic filter (out of sight behind the kitchen drawers) was excellent. I should also mention the office staff who were all friendly and professional when we spoke on the phone. Well done Laceys!

Latest project Feb 2021 From the outset Matt from Lacey’s created an incredible vision for my new en suite and set about making it happen It was a complicated project as the en-suite had to be created from scratch carving off space from an adjoining bedroom with new walls and drainage. The project included innovative design features like a sliding entry door making effective use of space and light whilst adding to the wow factor. And as for the finishing touches, Scott from Lacey’s put great thought into the plumbing and the final fix to ensure there were no compromises between functionality of the en-suite and look and feel of the space People make the real difference and Matt was an excellent project manager who only works with the best. He set high standards and was uncompromising in achieving that. Some of the trades were supplied from Luke Bennet Property Management, BH Tiling and Fulton Tiling. Everyone working on the project was top notch in terms of skills, work ethic and passion to achieve the best possible outcome. Everyone turned up when they should and worked tirelessly all day from 8am. Unforeseen challenges were managed with minimal to no hassle to me. The finished result is nothing short of spectacular - beyond anything I could have designed / created without Lacey’s help This is my second major bathroom design project with Lacey’s - both delivered outstanding results. I can’t recommend them highly enough First project Dec 2019 Just brilliant - Lacey’s converted a small pokey 90’s style downstairs toilet into a spacious and very cool looking space - this downstairs loo certainly has the wow factor now! Not only are Lacey’s good at the basics ( great people / high quality standard of worketc) but the creativity that went into the design to make the most of the space and give a stunning effect, really sets them apart. I was blown away by how little design elements just took the room to the next level. Matt as a project manager and designer is brilliant. I highly recommend them.

Really impressed with the service I received from the whole team, Matt came out initially to quote me for a new boiler installation and the fitting of 2 designer radiators. I had already had 3 quotes from other companies, but hands down, Matt was the one I felt most confident with. I wanted an accredited installer and also a Which trusted trader, just for additional peace of mind. So glad I chose them. Scott is real credit to the company, he worked tirelessly and is a perfectionist. His workmanship was exceptional and showed he has a real passion for his trade. I can't fault Lacey Plumbing. They came to do a boiler service for us earlier this year and check the other jobs that needed doing. A few weeks later they came back and fitted a new kitchen tap, new shower and most importantly, fixed the bad water hammer we were having. Excellent service from the plumber and from office staff as well.

Used Lacey's in the past for a plumbing repair and they were great so knew exactly who to call when we had a leak from a pipe under the floor boards. Their initial support through to fixing the leaking pipe was fantastic and much appreciated at a stressful time. Personal thanks goes to Matt who talked us through what we needed to do to reduce damage to the kitchen caused by the leak. No amount of phone calls and WhatsApp messages was too much.
