Very nice bar (a bit run down in some places - but somehow that fits with the ambience). Good selection of drinks and the DJ was ok too. Went to the 80s party. I had imagined something different, only the music was 80s...

Am 16.04.22 zur Schlagernacht im Kakadu. Wir besuchten über Ostern Dresden und waren neugierig auf die Kakadu-Bar. Karten im Voraus übers Internet Sitzplätze bestellt. Alles perfekt und die Atmosphäre richtig kuschlig! Wir hatten so viel Spaß, noch heute schaue ich mir kleine Handy-Videos an und bin sofort in dieser Super-Stimmung! Es war einfach herrlich! Dem ganzen netten Team noch viele solcher Veranstaltungen, Ideen, Kraft und gute Laune. Lt. Veranstaltungsplan gibt's ja noch so viel, was uns vom Thema her reizen würde! Aber Erfurt ist nun mal nicht um die Ecke! Aber beim nächsten Dresden-Besuch ist die Kakadu-Bar ein MUSS! Danke für viele Stunden gute Laune, die braucht man in dieser Zeit doppelt!

About three years ago I had a very disappointing experience at the Kakadu Bar in the Parkhotel Dresden with a member of the security staff. Even though I identified myself with my ID, I was treated poorly and denied entry because of my nationality. The security guard was extremely rude and actually threw me out. This experience has come back to me ever since and has made me very sad. It is unfortunate that such an incident could even happen. As a guest you should feel welcome and respected, regardless of your nationality. It is important to note that this situation occurred three years ago and there may have been changes in staffing and security measures since then. It might be worth considering a return visit to see if the situation has improved. I sincerely hope that the Kakadu Bar at the Parkhotel Dresden has learned from this negative experience and treats its guests with respect regardless of their background. It's a shame that such an incident tarnishes my memories of this place.

A third bar would be helpful, especially at peak times... Otherwise you'd wait forever for drinks. But overall very nice there. Nice mixed music, pleasant atmosphere 👍

A bit of nostalgia and a bit of a modern club. A nice restaurant. At most events there is enough space for dancing or sitting. The dance floor is great, the acoustics are good. The entrance fee is inexpensive, but unfortunately the drink prices have now gone up quite high. All around always a good, danceable address for over 30s.

Very nice cozy dance bar. Staff friendly, everything clean and tidy. A very good selection of drinks and good value for money. And especially on Schlagernacht you can really dance. Ticket service online is very easy to negotiate and you immediately have your ticket on your cell phone, so you can book spontaneously and you definitely won't go there for free if there are no more tickets available at the box office. The DJ fulfills music requests. Everything fine.

The hit night at the beginning of March was really good again. Everything was perfect: cool atmosphere, great music all evening, delicious drinks and relaxed people despite the large number of visitors. The team also does a really good job! All thumbs up 👍👍👍

Die Weltuntergangsparty 2022 war ein tolles Erlebnis, nur zu empfehlen.

We were there for the Disco-Fox dance evening... and just danced for 3 hours... where does that exist!? Therefore no information about food. Service also had little feedback... Entrance and bar were completely good, but certainly "under busy". Ambience very good for dancing, a hot tip for that!

Various DJs and DJs delight those who love dancing and those who chill out in the beautiful private rooms. I think the bars are great. The bar menu is chic and the atmosphere is really nice for dating, meeting, picking up, arriving, enjoying. The. Staff and security: Wow, thanks for that. Group meetings take place there several times using the meet5 app. On Fridays during the so-called “late shift” from 9/10 p.m. you can really enjoy music. Have fun discovering, alone, as a couple or in a group. The Kakadu Bar is ideal for dating! Thanks for that.

A really cool location in itself - but unfortunately the hit party was super disappointing. Only Discofox was running, only suitable for couples. And when we ordered from DJ Wolfgang Petry it didn't work because the couples (who would be better off just making love at home) can no longer do couple dancing otherwise. It's a real shame, Schlager actually has potential. But probably not here.
