This travels used to be one of the best travels in Chhattisgarh at a particular time but has not been able to maintain the same status quo. The buses are quite old now but one thing they have maintained is the timing. Drivers are well trained and they drive safely. Also they do not have late buses to depart from Raipur to Jagdalpur.

Here you will get only tickets and there are few chairs available and two charging points . There is no bathroom too much litter surrounding the kankere bus counter

Words like Pathetic, unprofessional, rude and unorganized are apt for this roadways from Chattishgarh. First let me tell you that I come from this state and are aware that there is not state transport hence I wasn't expecting any great experience from any roadways but the discomfort and bad experience I went through is just not right. I traveled twice with these people (I give atleast 2 chances to anyone before making an opinion) first I traveled Durg-Jagdulpur on 6th June 2013. At night 12:30 because of some unknown reason the bus windshield broke to pieces. (I dont blame roadways for this) but it took them more than 3 hours to arrange for another bus and till that time all passengers were their own waiting in on the road in a naxal affected area. Second I traveled from Durg to Hyderabad in Kanker travels. First the bus was 2 and half hours late to pick me up and my wife and I were waiting on a highway with no alternate arrangement. then again it was delayed by 2 hours to reach Hyderabad. I was told that bus will drop us in Afjal gunj in Hyderabad when I booked the ticket but bus abruptly stopped in secunderabad and no information was given to us that this will be the last stop. When I asked driver and conductor that they should let passengers know if plans have changed they started bad mouthing and were extremely rude. The driver (named Ramu) even told me that we should not use Kanker Roadways in future. on top of this their office people/helpline is also no help and the whole roadways runs like this with extremely unprofessional people. Avoid using their buses or you will be the next sharing your bad experience.

Catch your bus to your destination from here, if you are traveling by Kanker travels. the travels is good, a major name in CG. I travelled in their Pune seater volvo. wan't dusted - layers of dust on my seat. wasn't fast on empty roads - driver was busy chatting. reached Pune with a delay of over 2 hours and blamed traffic in Pune for that. The office itself is like any other travel offices in the area and thus three stars.

Regular and timely departure of luxurious Buses for Pune Hyderabad. Nagpur Ambikapur etc available. This place is simply a departure point.no proper waiting area for passengers.otherwise o.k.

Don't Travel from this Kanker engency. This engency making customer fools. I booked travel on 26th Jul 2015 to NAGPUR To HYD. At the time of booking the Drop off Location showing so many places and I want to get down to near Gachibowli ie. Kondapur. So for this reason I booked this travel. But when I reached at HYD on 27th Jul 2015 morning they drop off all the customer on Ladkdi ka pool and told "This is the last stop." I called travel agent also but they put down my phone. So, Don't make fool or update the correct information. so that people also aware. This is very rubbish travels.

Pros:- 1.Pre-booking of seats over phone is available. 2. Staff response is good. Cons:- Bus quality is poor for long distance journey (from Raipur to Jagdalpur)

Horrible service! Beware, your tickets booked from other payment sites like Paytm, can be cancelled few days before journey date. And prices would have increased 3-4 times.

HYD- RAIPUR ( VOLVO CG 04 NH 5355) The worst travel experience I have ever came across. Following are the points for which I give 0/5 star to Kanker Bus Travel and Redbus. 1. In the name of volvo only don't book this bus, the seats are on the floor and so tiny. 2. Driver, staff and support staff will accommodate as many passengers they can. They earn from the labour and in one seat they will accommodate 3 passenger. 3. Our bus got stopped in Telangana - Maharashtra border by police due to overload ( extra passenger) one of the fellow passengers had some political contact and he helped to start the journey after a stoppage of 4 hours at border check post. The bus with the passenger was locked up in a locked gated compound wall. 4. Staff behaviour is so rude that you can't even complaint anything. 5. Mid way they stopped all the charging ports and made fake reason that due to rain it's not working, then I contacted their manager regarding this and post that it was started. 6. They stopped the bus in a very unhygienic, the washroom was such that you can't even stand for a second. The bus driver and staff earn from the dhaba owner and that's why they stopped wherever they can earn. 7. The coach and bed was not clean, whatever mentioned in Redbus while booking was not provided. 8. For all the above I tried contacting Redbus midway, they just said we will resolve this in 48 hrs but what we should do for our journey then? You want us to come experience if you have responded in 48hrs or not? 9. Not at all safe for family. Recommendations - Even if you have no option to travel and only kanker travel is available then also don't book your seat in kanker travel bus. Very bad unsatisfied, unsafe, ridiculous service. -5/5 star rating. Owner of kanker travel should improve themselves as in all their long distance bus service has same problem.
