I recently had the pleasure of staying at Scandic Börs in Turku, Finland, and my experience was nothing short of excellent. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the staff were some of the friendliest and most accommodating I've ever encountered, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was also perfect for exploring the city, with many great restaurants and attractions nearby. However, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast - the selection was super good and there was something for everyone. Overall, I would highly recommend Scandic Börs to anyone visiting Turku, as it truly is the best location in town."

We stayed three nights. Why only two stars? Well…. Breakfast was good, but space was a way too crowded during the weekend. We had to wait for a table. Yet, the majority of tables were small ones for two people, but they were put together as tables for four. Staff could have politely separated them when some people had no place to sit, but 1-2 people were hoarding four seats at the same time. However, housekeeping was lousy. First thing I had to do was to clean the bathroom. I didn’t even bother to call them. But bad housekeeping continued. It was very obvious that bed was just made hastily, towels were just thrown onto the counter of the vanity, and one day we didn’t even get enough towels. All I want is one bath towel and one hand towel per person. Nothing was wiped in the bathroom (vanity counter, mirror, shower, toilet), no extra roll of toilet paper and not even wastebasket was emptied. Small carpet on the wooden floor was not vacuumed, even though it was obvious that we had dragged something in our shoes into the room. I told front desk staff what was happening after our second night. I do not know if it ever went anywhere from there. This is supposed to be a five-star hotel and 180 euros per night, I definitely expected at least standard housekeeping. Got nothing. Excellent location and good breakfast are not enough for us to return to this hotel. Turku has many good alternatives plus a good selection of Airbnb housing. We’ll take our business everywhere next time.

Upea hotelli aivan Turun ydinkeskustassa, Kauppatorilla. Täällä on mahtava ja erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Ruoka on ollut jokaisella käyntikerralla hyvin maistuvaa hotellin ravintolassa. Täältä löytyy myös erittäin hyvin varusteltuja kokoustiloja jossa kaikki nykyajan tekniset puitteet. Ylimmässä kerroksessa kattoterassi, ehdottomasti kokemisen arvoinen! Ihania drinkkejä ja mikäs sen parempaa kuin nauttia niitä katsellen parasta Turkua.

Urban Chic with a relaxing laid back atmosphere blending the old hotel to the new seamlessly integrating modern design, with a nod to the old. Our hotel room was spaciously accommodating for myself and my husband integrating the same feeling of laid back urban chic with an amazingly comfy bed. Dinner was a mouth watering feast of a grilled 200 g beef sirloin medium steak cooked to perfection, chipotle and béarnaise sauce, Spanish tomato salad and French fries for myself and a grilled medium 200 g Black Angus burger steak, mojo rojo, caramelized onion, jalapeño and bacon aioli and French fries. For desert we shared a Spanish baked cheesecake and strawberries, that melted in your mouth with hints of lemon flavours and a little bite curtesy of the strawberries. Sending our compliments to the chef for an amazing meal. Overall we had an amazing stay from beginning to end with staff being courteous throughout our stay, check in was quick and easy, as was check out. Definitely will be back again!

Hotellin tuloaula upea. Huone oli hieman pettymys, ikkunasta näköala oli aulaan respaan. Pari yötä viivyttiin, olisi ollut kiva nähdä ikkunasta ulos. Nyt piti verhot pitää kiinni koko ajan kun oltiin heti toisessa kerroksessa. Ensimmäisen yön jälkeen siistijä käynyt, pedit huonosti pedattu, ei oikeastaan muuta siistimistä. Yöllä erittäin rauhallista, mitään ääniä ei kuulunut mistään. Aamupalalla oli mistä valita, erittäin hyvä! Aamupala aika oli tosin erittäin ruuhkainen. Kattoterassilla musiikki soi niin lujaa, että lähdettiin pois, muuten paikka näytti oikein kivalta!

Moderni raikas huone, ikkunoista näkyy sisälle, tyylikäs kylpyhuone, parkkitila kätevä torin alla, eri maksu. Loistava sijainti torin, Hansan, Wikken ja rannan tuntumassa. Kattoterassilla myöhäinen aukeamisaika ja rap-musiikkia. Aamiainen hyvin kattava, mutta iltaravintolana ei. Säästäväinen varaa ja maksaa etukäteen, vaikka tiskillä. Esteetön.

I had an excellent stay at Scandic Hamburger Börs. The rooms were spacious and clean, the location was perfect. The hotel had an excellent gym and breakfast. The reception staff were friendly. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Turku.

A modern hotel, well designed and very comfortable. Room was airy and clean, bathroom was very nice. Beds were good and the doors in the hallway were silent. We will choose this hotel for our next visit to Turku, it is also very well located.

in my opinion the flagship of the scandic chain. the rooms are really nice, beds are comfortable, staff is very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding.

Our stay at this hotel was made even better by the incredible morning breakfast they offered. The delicious spread of food was a perfect way to start each day of our trip. Highly impressed and satisfied with their breakfast service!

Ensimmäsellä vierailulla uudistetussa Börsissä pääsin kurkistamaan yksityisten kabinettien tasoa ja hienostihan kaikki sujui. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja ruoka erittäin herkullista.

Great location, child friendly with kids play area in the restaurant, check in and out was very good, handy parking underneath at discounted Scandic price. I would stay here again with my family.

Hienosti uudistettu hotelli, vanhaa kunnioittaen. Työreissulla palvelu pelasi, ruoka oli hyvää ja huone viihtyisä kaikin puolin.

Huoneessa pientä epäsiisteyttä (matolla roskaa ja pussilakanoissa tahra), kylpyhuoneessa hämmennystä aiheuttanut pyyhe (allaskaapin poistovesi putken alla) mutta muuten hyvä hotelli.

Klassikko kotimaan hotelllien joukossa. Laatua kohdallaan. Mieluisaa majoittua uudestaan ja varata aikaa nauttia hotellista. Scandic onnistunut kaikessa. Kiitos.

Hieno hotelli, josta sai edullisesti huoneluokan korotuksen aivan meille luksukseen, eli superior plus huoneeseen 8. kerrokseen. Aamiainen erittäin hyvä, tosin viereisessä Scandic Juliassa oli hitusen jopa parempi. Niin hiljainen varsinkin yöllä, kiitos myös siitä! Tullaan toistekin!

Huoneet uusia ja sängyt mukavia. Huoneen ja palvelun tähditystä laskee huoneiden vessan siivoamisen heikkous. Hotellin saunan miesten- ja naistenvuoro hieman ihmetytti että vain yksi sauna tämän tason hotellissa. Sijainti hotellilla mitä mainioin ja pysäköintiin onnistuu hyvin torin alle.

Sijainti ei voisi olla parempi ja huone oli hiljainen, vaikka asiakkaita oli runsaasti. Huoneen siivous olisi voinut olla asteen verran tarkempaa. Aamupala oli todella ruuhkainen ja sitä voisi ajoittaa hieman tai viestiä ruuhkaisista ajoista. Yleisesti mukava kokemus.

Kylläpä on ihanaa olla täällä joulua viettämässä, erinomaista ruokaa ja hyvä palvelu, suosittelen.

Loistavalla paikalla oleva hotelli. Huoneet siistit ja näköala joulutorille mahtava. Vuode mukava ja leveä. Aamiainen aivan huippu, mitään lisää en keksi toivoa. Suosittelen!

Hyvä muutos vanhaan. Huomattavasti enemmän tilaa kuin vanhassa. Avaraaaa. Palvelu hyvää ja nopeaa tähän asti.

Renewed place, really fancy and chill environment, the hotel bar was really nice. The rooftop is small but has a great view.

One hour waiting to get a room,not good...lobby bar closed almost all the time so no finnish breakfast.not worth the money☝🏻better rooftop bar across the street☝🏻

I haven't got inside this place, but the building architecture is a masterpiece and the nicest in town, you can't help photographing it if you are visiting Turku!

Shiny new hotel

Very nice new hotel. Rooms are beautiful and good breakfast. The marketplace in front of hotel is under construction but there is plenty to see on the walking distance from the hotel.

I feel of giving this hotel my 4 stars. I only stayed here for probably less than 12 hours but the room and bed were comfortable and clean. Big space in the room and the breakfast was good and full of choices. Had no problems with the staff which was really Nice.

I am staying at scandic this week, and I have never been more disappointed. After a Long day of work, I wanted to go in the sauna but women are not allowed in the sauna, only men from 19.30… so they only think men are allowed to relax after a tough day at work, and women don’t get home late from work. I have never experienced discrimination to this point, thought we were past that long ago but apparently not. I’m not going to support discrimination in 2022!!

Great location, though was disappointed in various things: No lunch at the restaurant. Can only use the sauna during specific windows and most of the day nobody is allowed to use it. The male slot runs right along dinner time - what’s the point of even having the sauna if you can’t use it? Cobwebs/dust by the lights. The lights in the bathroom aren’t dimmable. No towels or water in the gym. Also soap dispenser was empty in the gym bathroom. Lotion and conditioner dispensers were empty in the room. The iron doesn’t have a steam function/only works for certain clothes. These things should be looked at if this hotel wants to offer a top notch experience.

Kind staff whom were very helpful and let us make changes. (We said 10:30 for breakfast but didn't think of when we had our train so we had to change this time to 10:00 and they did without issues)

Nice rooms underground parking good. Breakfast was little bit disappointing. Roof top bar has nice view ovet city.

Brand new hotel with spacious and stylish rooms right in the middle of the city. Hotel breakfast was excellent. The only thing missing is a pool in the hotel or a bathtub in the room. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.
