Suuri pettymys. Etsimme netin kautta hotellia rauhalliselta alueelta, jossa voimme yömme viettää. Löysimme kauniin näköisen paikan, joten ajoimme Ruissaloon. Ensimmäinen ihmetys oli, kun Googlessa luki, että ilmainen pysäköinti - ei ollut. Respassa oli todella negatiivinen asiakaspalvelija nuorehko nainen, joka ei kertonut MITÄÄN. Menin myöhemmin varmistamaan missä ja mihin aikaan edes aamupala on. Vastaus huvitti tympeydellään: "No 7-10." Varmistin vielä, että missä on ravintola, ja vastaus tähän oli: "No tuolla sun takana käytävällä ja vasemmalle". Lähdettiin sitten huoneeseen, jossa oli _älyttömän_ kuuma. Katseltiin sitten ulos, että jos mentäisiin puolison kanssa kävelemään pihalle, hieman tosin huvitti täysin kupera, hoitamaton pingispöytä. Ulkona mentiin laiturille, joka oli myös täysin hoitamaton, kupera ja täysin levässä. Mietittiin sitten mihin mentäisiin istumaan ja nähtiin tontilla kaksi söpöä valkoista penkkiä, joten käveltiin sinne. Penkit täysin likaiset ja ei niihin uskaltanut istua, etteivät romahda. Käveltiin takaisin sisälle ja kuunneltiin, kun vanhempi pariskunta kertoo respassa järjettömän kuumasta huoneesta. Kuultiin sivukorvalla, että ilmastointi ei ole toiminnassa, joten huoneissa on tuulettimia. Ei ollut kuitenkaan meidän huoneessa. Lämpömittari näytti puolen yön aikoihin +30C. Klo 4 oli tippunut jo +27,2C. Unta ei juuri ollenkaan saatu kuumuuden vuoksi, aivan järkyttävä yö - kasteltiin pyyhkeitä ja nukuttiin märkien pyyhkeiden alla koko yö. Aamupalalla kuunneltiin muiden nukkuneen myös kovin huonosti samasta syystä. Aamupala oli aika kehno. Plussaa tyrni-appelsiinishotista ja raparperihillosta, jotka vähän speciaaleja ruokia. Nauratti, kun mm. kattilassa luki "lettuja", mutta sisällä olikin pekonia. Rakastan löysiä kanamunia ja otin innoissani 6 minuutin kanamunan, mutta se ei ollut kuutta minuuttia nähnytkään, valui pöydälle suoraan, kun yritin avata kuorta. Asiakaspalvelu myös aamupalalla todella hymytöntä eikä yhtäkään tervehdystä saatu, saati sitä hymyä. Ainoat plussat annan baarin myyjälle, joka jutteli small talkia muumilimsasta ja lähtiessä respan nuorehkolle naiselle hymystä, kun kysyi miten viihdyimme. Maisema huoneesta oli todella mahtava ja patja oli napakka, hyvä. Tyynyt olivat tosin todella epämukavat. Ollaan kovia hotelleissa kävijöitä ja valitettavasti pakko myöntää, että tämä oli pohjanoteeraus. Hinta todella suolainen yhdeltä yöltä eli 168€, kun ottaa huomioon ettei ilmastointikaan toiminut.

Pettymys nimeltään Ruissalon kylpylähotelli. Reissaan työni puolesta valtavan paljon, 50-80 yötä hotellissa vuodessa. Tällä kertaa oli reissussa mukana puoliso ja 1v tytär. Tästä syystä päätin kokeilla Ruissalon kylpylähotellia rauhallisemman sijainnin ja sen kylpylän vuoksi. Hinta oli kohtuullisen kova, kovempi kuin keskustan ns oikeissa paremmissa hotelleissa. Kolme yötä 20m2 kopissa ilman mitään mukavuuksia, yli viisisataa euroa. . Majoitus oli vielä firman etuhinnalla varattu, ja tietenkin tämän ketjun kantiskortti juuri ostettu ja sitä näytetty tiskillä hyvän diilin toivossa. Suurin ongelma on paahtava kuumuus, täällä ei voi olla sisällä. Huone on yli 30 astetta eikä mitään helpotusta tähän. Merinäköala on kaunis, mutta olisi pitänyt arvata että kuumana päivänä nämä kopit on kuin krematoriota.. Eihän vuodessa ole kuin 20 kuumaa päivää ja muutama hellejakso, mutta näiden hellejaksojen aikaan kannattaa varata hotellihuone ilmastoinnilla, ja vältellä näitä kylpylähotelli hotboxeja. Lisäksi suihkusta tuli ensimmäisen majoitusyön ajan vain kuumaa vettä. Siis sellaista 38-40 asteista paljukuumaa vettä! Väriltään se on hieman vihertävää, toivottavasti ei käy huonosti kun join sitä lasillisen aiemmin. Respassa kävin sanomassa tästä niin nuori tyyppi tiskin takaa sanoi "voi voi, anteeksi. Ei mitään muuta. *Päivitys tähän arvosteluun nyt yhtä majoitusyötä myöhemmin, nyt tulee suihkusta myös kylmää vettä. Kävin korjaamassa arvostelua suotuisammaksi tästä syystä kun ei tämä nyt enää niin sietämättömän kamala olekaan* Paikkahan on jo rupsahtanut kuten melkein kaikki kylpylähotellit Suomessa, ei siis siitä erityismoitteita kun oli odotettavissa. Toki tavanomaista surkeampi tämä on, esimerkiksi käytävien ikkunat vuosien pinttyneen saastan peitossa, leikkipaikka, laituri ja puistonpenkit hävyttömät. Ihanat hanhet kakkineet kaikki paikat vaikka ei niistä hanhista juuri hotellia voi syyttää.. Mutta huono asiakaspalvelu, Huono siivous (mm. kamala tuppi karvoja kylpyammeen pohjalla) ja olankohautuksella kuitattu kelvoton suihku harmittavat aika vietävästi. Ilmeisesti rempattujakin huoneita on kohta saatavilla. Kylpylän puoli oli melkoisesti parempi kuin odotin ja pikkutyttö pääsi kunnolla polskimaan. Vesi oli hiton kylmää mutta se ei nyt helteellä haitannut. Toki odotukset oli koko kylpylää kohden tosi matalat eli mitään luksusta ei täältä kannata hakea, mutta oikein käypä näin meidän käyttöömme. Aamupala oli OK. Ei kilpailukykyinen esim. s-ryhmän kanssa, mutta oikein riittävä. Puoliso kehui aamupalaa hyväksi vegaanivaihtoehtojen suhteen eli tästä plussaa.

The place has potential located at the most beautiful site but the owners haven't updated the facilities and many things would reguire service and change. Spa is spacious, peaceful and suitable for adults. Children are not allowed there without their parents.

Olin kuntoutuksessa Ruissalon kylpylähotellissa Turussa viisi yötä syyskuussa. Tämä oli kolmas ja viimeinen jakso. Tykkäsin kovasti kaikesta hotellissa ja kylpylässä ja avanto uinnista ja ruuasta ja kaikesta hotellissa, kylpylässä, kuntosalilla ja ympäristössä. En tykkää valittaa pienistä asioista, niitä löytyy ihan joka paikasta, jos haluaa valittaa. Tosin yhdestä asiasta halusin valittaa, kuntoutus huoneeni päättäjästä, joka kohteli minua kaltoin! Mutta sitä esteltiin, ja siksi kerron sen nyt jälkijunassa täällä.

Remontti menossa, kun kävimme. Huoneen kylpyhuone haiskahti viemärille ja siksi huoneen kylpyamme ei oikein houkutellut. Huone oli siisti, näköala lahdelle. Tohvelit ja pyyhkeet löytyivät huoneesta kuten kuuluikin. Kylpyläosastolla paras ja lämmin allas oli iso "poreallas". Kylpyläosasto meni enemmänkin pienen uimahallin kategoriaan ja moni käymäni uimahalli hakkaa menentullen tämänkin. Olisiko miesten pesuosastolla ollut ollut yhteensä 3 suihkua!😳 onneksi ei ollut ruuhkaa. Käsitoipilaana minulke riitti kuitenkin se että oli yksi lämmin allas ja sauna🤗. Sijainniltaan hotelli luonnonkauniissa paikassa meren rannalla ja luontopolkuja ympärillä.

Nicely located hotel that has seen MUCH better days... Feels like you're staying in a hospital, not a "spa & hotel". Everything looks old and worn out. Price / quality relation is not good. Would not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Ihan ok kylpylähotelli ja kelpo aamiainen. Kylpylä oli pieni. Porealtaassa ei ollut ihmeempiä poreiluja ja sen vesi oli jopa kuumaa. Kylpylästä oli mukava mahdollisuus käydä meressä uimassa. Olin perustyytyväinen käynnistä ja koen, että hinta osui laatuun, mutta hinnat varmaan vaihtelee paljonkin sesongin mukaan. Enempää en kuitenkaan itse maksaisi, minkä eilen maksoin.

Ystävällinen palvelu ja huone siisti. Ei niinkään lapsiperheille tarkoitettu, mutta suositus aikuisille.

good location for a short trip. Pet friendly. Room is ok, but you can enjoy many activities: sauna, swimming pool, beach, botanical garden, etc. Not so many options for dinner.

A hotel where you can spend the night with your pet as well. The room I spent the night in could definitely have used some improvements in terms of air conditioning as it was quite hot for the entire stay and there's definitely an air of cutting corners here and there. Still an overall pleasant stay away from the city.

Superb location, no questions asked. The hotel is expensive but dont deliver on the standard. The rooms are, how can i say it nice.... Terrible and very expensive. No aircon, no possibility to open windows. It is just worn out.... The restaurant had nice atmosphere but terrible food. I tested the most expensive burger i have i had and it was boring and COLD !! I have eat gourmet burgers more cheap. The staff was friendly but thats only positive. The breakfast was nice but the restaurant had not been cleaned from the night before so i found food on the floor. Disgusting!! A SPA should be more than a pool and a sauna... Specially in Finland !!

This is a great find, the hotel has style and charm, the views and small bay are outstanding, the pool area is tasteful and pleasant. I like the fact you can get a drink in the pool bar and then go and sit by the sea with it for a while. There are some negatives though: the vegetarian options in the restaurant are uninspiring - the pizza was doughy, undercooked and tasteless; the veg burger was mediocre and dull. You have to pay €10 for overnight parking, which is actually outrageous. There was a very long and very slow-moving queue to check in, which was exhausting. Breakfast was fine, but oh my, the coffee was jaw-droppingly bad.

Food general not good breakfast and al,carte menu could do with a lot of thought and improved 100% not good 😐

A beautiful hotel on the Ruissalo Island, close to Turku, in Finland. The nature and the sea envelop the structure within a magical atmosphere.

Palvelu ravintolassa osin AIVAN loistavaa. Toisena päivänä ei sitten kaikki ihan putkeen mennyt, mutta lopulta asiallisesti hoitivat asian kuntoon.

Huoneet siistejä, mutta kaipaavat päivitystä. Palvelu hyvää, varsinkin ravintolassa mahtava leidi. Ruoka oli myös Naantalin jälkeen erittäin positiivinen yllätys, todella hyvää. Yleisesti Ruissalo on syrjässä, mutta siellä on paljon nähtävää ja koettavaa.

Olisimme kaivanneet iltoihin jotain yhteistä ohjelmaa. Olimme useamman päivän siellä. Lähdimme iltaisin Turkuun, koska kylpylään ei oltu järjestetty mitään. Esim. Heinäkuussa rapujuhlat juomalauluineen olisi varmasti ollut elämys.

Sijainti oli hyvä. Lemmikkihuoneessa ei ilmastointia, ja huone kuin sauna vaikka ei edes hellekelit. Ikkunaa ei saanut auki. Tuuletusikkunasta ei apuja ollut. Pientä päivittämistä yleisilmeeseen tarvittaisiin. Aamupala ok. Se mikä kiinnitti huomiota, niin onko tarpeeksi henkilökuntaa. Pöytiä ei ehditty siivoomaan ja ruoat pääsi loppumaan ennen kuin siihen ehdittiin reagoimaan.

Huoneissa en majoittunut, mutta ruoka ja kylpyläosasto hyvä. Bonusta se, että pääsi kylpyläosastolta suoraan mereen uimaan sekä ympäristön rauhoittavat maisemat.

Uusittu sviitti ihan helmi. Järkevän hintanen👍🏻 Muuten hotellin käytävät näyttää vanhalta sairaalalta mutta laput silmillä huoneeseen👌🏻😁 Parkkipaikka nykyään maksullinen.

Ravintolan tuolit ja pöydät tanssii aivan omilla jaloilla, heiluu ja hemppuu miten sattuu, ovat paremminkin kiikkustuoleja. Seisovapöytä on lähes makaava(ruokailupöydät)

Pieni, 3: en altaan kylpylä, lisäksi löylyistä voi pulahtaa meriveteen. Mukavan rauhallinen ja kaunis ympäristö läpi vuoden.

Nice place to escape for a few days from the city to nature. Cozy spa surrounded by the forest. Basic gym. Very nice breakfast. Good value for money.

Good and affordable experience, despite the little dated and worn out facilities. Out of date design and a rather institutional vibe. Breakfast was also satisfactory albeit unremarkable. Even though they were scarce, there were vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise. Nevertheless, the foundations are what give the overall solid rating. The spa offered a sauna, a few indoor pools, and wild swimming outside (which is open even in winter if I understood correctly). The spa wasn't really busy which was nice. Additionally, the location is superb. I'd call it a little no nonsense hidden gem.

Bugs crowling on me in the bed at night. Bugs crawling into my bags and infested bathroom with running bugs. Mud on the floor and rubbish in the bathroom bin. Nothing done after I requested the bathroom to be cleaned. No money return. I paid full price for a sleepless night and disgusting experience. They refused any compensation. Worst experience in my life. Ok. Update. So now I went back and again asked for compensation again. I received 50% money back. I think only because I went back with camera on and also showed them the video of bugs running in my bed. My holiday here is ruined . I planned for 4 days in Turku area but now I'm struggling to book a different hotel last minute. Very unhappy.

We've spent several days at the Ruissalo Spa Hotel and found it was very average. Our room was clean with beds, and a TV. The kettle and glasses we had to ask for. Towels and bathrobes were functional but obviously had seen better days. The view from our room was really beautiful as it was overlooking the sea and the forest. We enjoyed the pools even though the water was rather cold and there seemed to be a lot of chlorine in the water. To be honest, after some 30 mins, you just want a breadth of fresh air with so much chlorine. On the upside, the jacuzzi water was warm. The breakfast is frankly terrible and all the ingredients on offer feel cheap. The selection of bread was poor, the jams were just super sweet, the pancakes were sort of ok, cereals was bad and porridge was not tasty any of the days. On the third day, we just had coffee, rice milk and a pancake. We wouldn't go back to this hotel nor recommend it to anyone. The price is far too high for what it has to offer and we can think of plenty of other hotels in Finland that offer better quality and the same or lower price point: better beds and pillows, better breakfast, better services and amenities and a better experience. After our check out, we wondered where our money had gone to.

The location is absolute beautiful and the services at the hotel were superb. The breakfast serving was working well even during COVID-19 special arrangements. However, there were some major inconveniences. For example, for a reason unknown, we couldn't get warm water for a bathtub in the evening. For a professional hotel, this was quite surprise.

Nice view, surrounded by beautiful nature, beautiful sea, beach ⛱ But not a good breakfast though. room ventilation could be improved. The building is old it needs renovation. It's expensive.

Nice location, good service. Bit out dated but overall good experience. Breakfast and bar options are just fine. Spa means 3 pools and sauna for 5 persons. Take your own hot water heater. We spent 2 nights and nothing to complain.

A great location in the heart of some bucolic nature to relax and have an escape from the urban sprawl. Sadly this place has its best days behind it, designed in the 70's the interior and decor need an urgent uplift. Paint was peeling, walls had pieces of plaster missing, and some standard items like air conditioning were only available on higher end rooms. Pools/massage area were just OK, plastic plants and a lack of natural light didn't help. It has more the overall feel of a hospital than a spa. In summary the location and staff are great but the facilities and design need a revamp, badly.

The spa facilities were ok but they really should get an outdoor hot tub or sauna. That way guests could go directly from the cold ocean water directly to something warm.

Very nice experience. Nice pool and sauna. Very kind staff at the reception and the pool area. At the restaurant it seemed that some organization was missing. The food was okay but the portions were very small compared with the price. The breakfast was good and there were quite few choices also for vegan and vegetarian.

Loved this place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy to navigate round. Bus stop right outside and plenty of parking spots.

Paid for upgraded room with air conditioning. Air conditioning doesn’t work. Fridge doesn’t work. Tried to book spa treatments at a SPA hotel… none available. They were not booked up, they are just not offered multiple times per week due to lack of staff. Don’t recommend staying here for the money.

A bit mixed feelings about this one. We chose to stay here purely because of the location and were interested of the place as a hotel and were not interested (nor did use any) of spa services. The hotel is also under renovation, and experience might vary depending on room and date of visit. We were travelling with our dog, so our room was not the best available. The room was quite ok though and we had nothing to complain about it. We were promised to have a towel, cup and a treat cup for our dog, but got none of these even we did visit at the reception and askel for those. We chose to eat at our room and hambourger meals we ordered were both cold and drowned with BBQ sause, so I cant recommend the place for its food based on that. Breakfast was up to the standard you expect to get in Finnish hotels. Ruissalo is a great place to visit and the hotel is placed in a very central place. It is a shame that the hotel grounds themselves do not provide much more than a parking lot. Our stay in here was a OK one, but not quite worth the expensive price for our stay.

It is nicely located and cozy hotel surrounded by nature. Service was bit slow and not so polite. Sad was that eating was not so nice. Food was many times empty and ne3ded wait for new. Not so functional dining experience.

We were visiting only the spa and the restaurant. It is a great place to spend some hours, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location. A little beach 50 meters from the hotel and open door directly from the spa-area. Short walk to more beaches. E-bike rental in the reception, and great paths for cycling and running/hiking. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The pizza in the restaurant was good and it was possible to enjoy the food outside with a wonderful view.
