Normal DIY store, plenty of tools, building, house items etc competitive prices with K bonuses. Bauhaus does seem better for flooring, tiles and overall amount items they sell though

Basic tools and materials for DIY and for professionals too. A bit pricey but good selection.

Experience staff and quality products.

Very nice and helpful staff. Even on a Sunday. They were happy to look for things that they had in storage, but not out on display.

If you're trying to find something extremely specific (although common) like tape, you might end up wandering around trying to find the right section a lot longer than to be desired, if no staff is nearby. But it's a big store with a lot of variety and often times the section signs will give you a good guess as to what you'll be able to find there. And, of course, if you find staff then you're in and out with what you needed in no time.

Only time K-Rauta was unable to provide me with the stuff I needed was during suprise snowstorm when apparently the whole city wanted to buy snow shovels :D

A DIY store with a good range of products. Helpful staff, although they are area based so if you've got more than one problem you might need to find a different member of staff. I was looking for a replacement part for my sink and they didn't have anything available at all which I thought was not that great.

I went to Bauhaus and K-Rauta for a purchase and K-Rauta wins! I went to buy few pieces of wood for a hobby project and Bauhaus says need to pay 4m full price for 1.5m wood. I asked if they can cut it, and answer is I can cut with the hand saw (they didn't have circular saw) myself there. Then went to K-rauta. At K-rauta I ask the guy if he can cut the wood into 3x 56cm pieces. He cut it right away. I told him (I insisted!), bill me 2m since total length is more than 1.5m. The k-rauta person says/insists 'no I bill 1.5m it is more fair for you'. You can see the difference in customer service immediately. Also the same priced wood pieces were higher quality at K-rauta.

Good selection but on the pricey side

Good selection, service is at the level I expect. Sometimes I wish for a clearer map but website helps to locate specifically the item shelf.
