Kids Swimming Camp Review This review is for the swimming camp conducted by the hotel for kids. The two stars in rating are for the trainer who is trying his best to conduct the camp inspire of many shortcomings 1. A few elders are allowed to join the camp though it is for only kids, because of recommendation from hotel senior management. They occupy half of the pool during the 7 AM batch. The pool is relatively small for both adults and kids to learn at same time 2. Safety : There are not enough swimming tubes for kids to practice safely at deeper end of the pool. Hotel is not able to provide them though requested multiple times. Some parents bring their own one tubes for practice. :( 3. Cleanliness : Restrooms near the pool have plumbing issues and water gets stagnated after taking a shower. I am surprised to find that the restrooms are not cleaned regularly, for a hotel that boasts about clean and safe stay. The coaches are trying their best to teach swimming for all kids in the crowded pool. The whole camp could have been managed well by hotel staff. They simply collect the fee and send kids to pool area and are not responsive when we raise any issues. Shelton used to be one of the places I suggest to my friends for stay or dining. I may not do that with confidence after the witnessing the swimming camp.

Had a good stay at Rajahmundry. The food was good and the staff were very welcoming. The only drawback is that the bathroom drains aren't effective, it turns out to be a puddle after the shower is started. The place is in a close vicinity within the city.

Stayed in this hotel for 2days. Its big and good. I was given an upgraded room, reasons unknown, with a caution that i would be shifted to the booked type, the next day, which did not happen. Room was big and good. Bed liners clean.saw one plate full of leftover in at the door on the room in front of mine. Customers should be instructed not to do so. I lost my wallet and the access card somewhere else and they provided me replacement card on no cost. Complimentary breakfast was good, mix of south indian and continental. Served watermelon pieces were with seeds, disappointing. Some guests mentioned delayed room service. Some maintenance issue in the washroom. Shower closet door was not closing properly, water was leaking out. Corners has stains. Bath tub and floor had water stains. Shower and tap water flow was not proper. Chairs in the lobby had cracked leather.

Very good spacious rooms. I loved my stay . Food cost is very reasonable. They buffet Dinner option also available. They have sports Bar and drinks rate is also reasonable. Overall just best

It was an amazing experience having a pleasant dinner in this small town. The taste was upto the mark, hygienic and the taste has fixed according to our requirements. The service and hospitality received from Chandini was overwhelming. Would love to visit again

My stay was for 2 days in June 2023. Very nice and lavish hotel for luxurious stay in Rajahmundry. Located less than a kilometer from A.P.S.R.T.C bus stand. Prices are a bit on the higher side but service provided was quick and positive. Food provided in the Citrus restaurant was tasty and with wide varieties. Thank you!

I went here for my Birthday and it was an absolute blast! The place, the service and the facilities, the food, they're all amazing! The staff there are all diligent, helpful, understanding and so fun to talk to (especially Chandini who has personally taken care of me and my family for dinner at the Citrus restaurant and has been fun to connect with while I was there) Overall 10/10 would recommend going to this place.

Everything ok. Breakfast was very good and many varieties. However in bathrooms there should be dispensable hand wash,shampoo instead of soaps There was no bucket nor mugs. Being an Indian hotel it is more westernised in bath room set up . There must be provisions of Indian requirements in bathrooms.

I hope my review is taken into consideration. This place truly sucks. The hospitality, the ambience, the dishes, everything isn't meeting the expectations of a typical 3 star hotel. The waiters' behavior isn't sensible. Very rude and sarcastic. Ther wasn't proper air conditioning as well. In a town like Rajahmendravaram, the residents expect richer delicacies that carry flavorful recipes, this hotel doesn't meet any ends. Truly sucks. Period.

I am staying here since last 2 days. My stay is overall comfortable. Food is really good. All teams except the reception section are very responsive and responsible. The rooftop pool is clean. They have access to the rooftop, where the view of the whole city is good

Went to dine after a long time and the service at Citrus is excellent, the dining attendant Ms. Chandini gave us a good welcome and the staff is very attentive. Everything is delicious and will definitely visit soon.

The cleaning staff entered the room without authorization in our absence, and when brought to attention of the management, they kept justifying it, and kept giving the generic "we apologise for your inconvenience". They kept asking what could they possibly do, it is clear and right in front of you what has to be done. I have seen some of the 1 star rating this place has gotten and the response the hotel gives them, all they say is nobody has ever made that complaint and they take pride in their service, completely invalidating the customer's complains. I know no higher up is ever going to see this, but if someone does, you need to look into the management that is running the hotel. The reason people stay at hotels like Shelton is not just for comfort, but also security and safety, but it doesn't seem like that is a priority here.

I had a very great evening with candle light dinner in this shelton hotel. Sony served very neatly and venkatesh cordinated with us beautifully. I totally loved the experience and recommend to everyone. Overall we enjoyed our marriage anniversary with family

We went to Citrus restaurant, apparently a fine dine, but it was truly not fine. Extremely delayed service, they took 1 hour to make 2 naans, 2 curries. Their starters also took 45 minutes to come. Horrible service even though there were just 3 tables occupied. Not recommending this one to anybody nor going here again. Floor manager didn't know anything but to repeatedly say sorry! Bad experience here.

It's a strange name.. Sounded like a mix of Sheraton and Hilton 😁. We stayed here as a part of a wedding party... Check in was very smooth, staff courteous. Size of the room is good, very spacious and good natural lighting. Beds were comfortable, linen was clean. There was a very musty smell in the room though, which lingered even after switching on the AC for a while! Bathrooms weren't that great... They were clean alright, but had very old accessories. The shower head was in a dilapidated state.. Water was going in all directions.. The shower cubicle was in a bad state too... Soap and shampoo needs a big makeover... Surprisingly, towels were good... Maybe we got a new lot. Breakfast was complimentary... The Indian breakfast was tasty, continental one was bad.. They just didn't know how to prepare. They could have had a better spread. Parking is available in the basement.. There is no elevator from basements, so you need to walk one or two floors up.. So make sure you aren't taking any luggage to the parking. Overall, stay was comfortable.. Could have been better, but I was there with very low expectations anyway!

Worst experience and ambience ever ! The service was horrible. Took our order and after serving a single dish for 10 of us, they said they couldn’t serve us the rest of the order after a whole 1 hour saying the kitchen is closed. Don’t they know the kitchen is closed before taking the order? When asked about ice cream, the same kitchen is closed story after 20 min. Do they need to cook the ice cream? Very disappointed in a hotel of this stature. Wouldn’t recommend going there for any other reason.

Citrus restaurant- We have ordered veg food,the service was soo good especially by Captain Chandini she was very generous. And food quality is soo good and smooth. Totally very good experience.

The food is good. The hospitality of service staff is good. However, the rooms are smelly with stale cigarette odor. In addition, the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The water stagnates on the bathroom floor because of uneven surface.

Location of the hotel is good. Rooms are big and maintained decently. Food hygiene is missing. Cups, plates in which the food is served is broken and full of stains! The hotel charges a bomb for the stay, services should be provided on par with the price!

Food is exceptional. Served very hot. Chandini took care of us and suggested to have mocktails. Blue Ocean and Orange passion were the mocktails we had and we became fan to them. I suggest everyone to have these mocktails here.

We had a gr8 time Ms Chandini in citrus restaurant was of great help. She suggested and helped us have gud dishes like milavu biryani. Especially the curtosey extended by her was wonderful. Wud love to come back.

the gym here was horrible,i got severe permanent backpain after joining this gym because of that stupid personal trainer praveen...i was in bed rest for almost 2-3 months after this idiot personal trainer with no knowledge has been appointed as a personal trainer by the shelton management putting many people's health in risk

Visited Citrus restaurant in Hotel Shelton Ramahendri. Loved the ambience... With whelming music. Very neat and peaceful ambience. Service is very good and polite. Had milao chicken biryani special now at the restaurant taste is so good a must try. Overall experience is very nice. Will give a visit again soon.....

Delicious food at Citrus Restaurant, with a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Butter chicken and garlic naan were great! Our server Chandini was very helpful and accommodating to us. Overall a fantastic restaurant with pleasant evening ambience - highly recommend.

Room was excellent. Stayed there with my wife. Food is average. Room service is good on week days but gets a little shaby on weekends. Valet parking is available. They also offer a car wash for 500 rupees. I opted for it during my stay during my onward journey was disappointed with the quality of the wash. All in all a good place to stay with family.

Male receptionist are extremely rude and ask payment everyday and call every hour for the payment which is very shameful. Because of the receptionist unacceptable rude behavior we decided to change the hotel. Bathroom is so stinky. We can see extreme stain on the windows classes everywhere. Services are very slow. Food taste is extremely horrible. No hospitality. Overall very bad experience. And i don't recommend other to waste their money on this hotel.

Citrus - Nice Ambience and very polite service by Chandini. Food options are great. She suggested best food options and very respectful. Tried four varieties in veg - Crispy corn (5/5), Spring roll (2/5) very oily, veg biryani (4/5), alfredo pasta (4/5).

Celebrated my kid's birthday in the pool side space. Thank you Tulasi garu for organising the event wonderfully. There were few hiccups but were sorted out really well by Tulasi garu. Food was awesome and the open space was liked by the guests. I can recommend Shelton for any event of your loved ones. Thanks again Tulasi garu.

We came here for my birthday and on my request they served me starters with less oil ! Loose prawns , juicy kabab and ka wang chicken starters were good ! Kudos to the chef ! Mutton Mastani biryani and veg fried rice are very tasty ! The ambience of the place is pleasant ! Special mention goes to Mr Upendhra Singh (gm) and Chandini for making my birthday extra special with their warm service .

One of the best hotel in rajahmundry.Hotel that lives up to the expectations in all possible ways. Courteous staff,pretty decent food,amazing room's and restaurants.

Only place I could find that served cocktails, if you’re looking to get absolutely sloshed. They’ve got a 2+1 on pretty much all drinks and if you’d sweet talk the bar tender he’d pour you a bit more and then some. All the other bars I visited were dogsh*t. Ask for the tolly lounge on the 7th floor, the ambience was good but the management had a hard time dealing with everything since it was a weekend and what not.

We stayed as a group in room numbers 306 and 307. Key card access dont work for room number 307 and we would get stuck outside for atleast 30 min before the staff could come up and open the door for us. I have stayed multiple tines before and this place used to be best, but now i dont recommend this hotel to anyone who is spending good miney for a pleasant stay. Finally not worth my money.

Food is prepared well, it seems chain hotel recipes are tweaked to suit local taste. Room maintenance is good. Room service is good. Check out delayed badly, even after informing before hand, person at desk made me wait full 15 minutes after handing over E-key, even after informing him about urgency due catching train. Ultimately, i walked out. Check out 6am, 27, dece21.

I went for dinner along with my cousin's family. Stewart chandini invited us, took order and served us like own sister in time. Dishes are very hot and tasty. Great hospitality. I will visit soon.

Wow! It was really great experience. Menu was awesomely stunning. The pool side menu there tasted the best of all! Staff and waiters are also well trained and welcoming. It was truly a 5 star experience and the service was absolutely fantastic. I would love visiting this wonderful hotel once more. The ambience was very pleasing and peaceful. Had a beautiful experience at hotel shelton rajahmundry Would recommend this great venue to everbody who loves travelling and trying new and unique dishes. The staff deserves to be given extra tips for their excellent service to their customers. Here the pool side dishes really awsome rajma kofta curry and vanjaram tandoori was awsome and spoken to executive chef 👨‍🍳 so glant to talk to him presents and the thought of pool side menu was superb i guarantee, nobody can leave this place disappointed !

Shelton hotel restaurant food is good and Rooms are ok there is smell at the room.. don't know it is only to my Room or others. They should clean more where edges and corners looks very bad in restrooms.

Day 1 at Shelton hotel today, I had my first breakfast here and it was awesome. South Indian specials are available here, freshly made and healthy. Stayed in Hotel Shelton Rajamundry for the first time and had a wonderful experience, the rooms are spacious, neat and tidy with great housekeeping staffs. The Hotel is in a place with lots of good shops nearby. The Hotel has places inside to keep you occupied, swimming pool, entertainment room etc, smoking rooms are plenty. The place i liked the most was the Dining area 'Cafe De' the food was excellent simple and delicious with very courteous staffs, enjoyed the food every time.

Chandini makes your Citrus Restaurant experience truly memorable. She's always there with her amazing smile and makes you feel very comfortable and makes feel-at-home come true. Kudos to the hotel on owning such dedicated staff!!!

I heard that this is the best hotel in the town. But I’ve never seen this disrespectful behaviour of staff towards their guests. They are so very rude and don’t even respond to the calls. They are so short staffed and yet they are hosting more number of guests than they can actually serve. All the men and women in the staff have literally no skills of hospitality. They took 2 hours to just get one water bottle to the room. This is the most horrible stay I’ve ever been.

Extraordinary ambience. Delicious 🤤 Yummy 😋 The staff "CHANDINI" who served was so friendly and respectful. The ambience of the restaurant is stunning. The view of the city at the time time is awesome. Premises of the restaurant is extremely clean, and food is very delicious and in traditional style. We visited for dinner with family. We were delighted by the authentic Andhra style food and especially Goli Soda was surprising. The spices and flavors were extremely impressive ,as well as south and north Indian items of a wide range.

Ambience is okay. Reception is good .. Rooms are well kept but they should get better chefs. The food hygiene is not good in the buffet section. Once I had diarrhea after eating the Mixed Biriyani after a buffet meal

Stayed overnight on my way to Bangalore. Room was super clean and specious. Bathroom was clean and toilet kit was provided. Service was super fast. Food was expensive but tasted ok. Only thing I didn't like was they don't even provide you drinking water; apart from the 1 lts that is complementary. Extra water being charged is something I have not found anywhere else. Anyways, more than decent place to stay.

Hotel property is in dire need of maintenance. Rooms toilets are missing locks. Lifts can't be used with confidence as they behave differently every time. Front desk representative Dinesh is going to say yes to everything you ask but will not get anything fixed. Housekeeping response time is like 0… as they never respond to requests. Swimming pool not available. Not sure why it's listed in 4* category. The stars I have given here is because of Mr Sharukh, restaurant manager, saving grace for the hotel as he ensures to take extra care of his guests.

Rooms are outside and very spacious. Ample space to work if you are at work. The bathrooms are not so much to my expectations, but they still need a lot of improvement. The room service is very late despite calling them 2 times. Anyways.. It's a good 3-star hotel means. Average at best. Needs improvement All the best

Wow this place and food inside is awesome. The ambience is especially good. The dining hall has a separate vibe as we can have our favorite food. The morning view (sunrise) from the rooms is too good. I liked this place.

Decent hotel with poor service Paid 400 extra for the breakfast buffet and should say that it was one of the worst breakfast buffet I've ever had. No variety, poor spread of breakfast Cash paid for dinner in room was not reported by the bearer and I had to wait half an hour extra at check-out for them to verify. Very poor from the only good hotel in Rajhamundry

I rarely do it but I'm being forced by my conscience to do so. Pathetic washroom, housekeeping. No towels for second day stay after checked in. They don't deserve single star it's like local lodge type service. Worst experience. Dear Dharmendra Singh, I knew you will put a copy paste reply to reviews. And still want that customer himself should call you to address the concerns which are always clearly mentioned. So, apparently the kind of response from your end proves that the services will continue to be from bad to worst. Good going. The intentions doesn't support your justification that customer should call you. The hotel has all contact details taken during booking and can make efforts to reach us. I guess other guest are also reading this and will definitely understand how it is.

Good place for stay and for meals is one level up. Happen to visit while some local festival season was going on and they have spread the buffet with local dishes, I enjoyed the sea food delight. Especially they made some crab masala this was too good. Will share the pic of the same. I managed to click it with my own hand as they were filled red chilli masala of the crab. Awesome

The worst ever hotel, staff have no co-ordination among them, whether to collect the advance or not to collect for the services of Room Service. The staff always demands money for the bills. Previously it was not like that, I found this drastic change only after Post-Pandemic. The staff were very rude including the staff at the reception. The rates are very high even when compared to the five star hotels of Hyderabad.

Although it has good infra the event service is below the standards. Our recent booking for an event on 9th March was saved in last minute getting utter flop. No time sense at all. Pls don't take people interest granted, it might be one out of many for u but every event is spl for the organizers.

My stay was in room no. 306 for one night on 17-09-2021. Very bad experience in the reception. In the beginning itself I asked whether any arrangement for driver's stay, she said yes. After my confirmation, they haven't made any arrangement for driver's stay, they said it's not a binding. When I asked the receptionist for the Manager, she has shown me one gentleman. That guy started shouting at me idiotically and asked to take back the advance and go out. No customer can tolerate this type of response and it damages your image. I am very much surprised how you are keeping such people in the reception. In fact that lady was telling me sorry for yesterday's incident however that guy wasn't having any realisation.

The interior of the hotel is very shabby. Rooms are not lit up and give a doomy feel. The exterior of the hotel is well marketed which attracts attention. The service related to food and house keeping is worst. I had to wait for 30 mins for a water bottle to reach my room. Very unprofessional. I would rate my stat as 1 out of 10.

have visited to shelton so many times and spend much time with friends over there, chandini citrus restaurant amenities and ambience, Cleanliness are excellent compared to others in entire Rajahmundry. Food and room service is also very good. I suggest shelton an excellent place to stay, who ever wants to stay like a 5 star hotel.

Chandini @ Citrus fine dining was a wonderful waitress. Very helpful & knowledgeable. Vegetable florentine , fish & chips both great!
