This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in for the following reasons:- 1) We ordered Paneer butter masala with no spice / chilly specifically. We ended up eating the spiciest Paneer butter masala ever cooked. I wonder what Kadhai Paneer will taste like here 2) We asked for (and paid for) an extra bed but we ended up getting only a mattress and a bedsheet that was used and probably unwashed 3) The toilet door doesn't lock from inside. 4) The toilet is filthy and ill-maintained. 5) The electric kettle is broken. 6) The place is infested with mosquitoes (even after heavy bug-spray) 7) This hotel claims that they serve continental food but when it comes to room service, they have very limited choices With regards to the aforementioned points, i would like to add that we stayed here for just one night and checked out the next morning. We came across these issues during one single night. I would strongly recommend not to visit this hotel even if it is for a night.

Good resort, the food was absolutely delicious. The cleanliness could have been improved. Other than that the rooms were well designed and well air conditioned. The wifi is good and fast which was helpful. The room service was also good.

I have travelled good to average to bad hotels . This one was just worst, the bathrooms smells so bad and urinated all time . The bedroom had so much of humidity smell that I suffocated whole night and needed medical emergency. Couldn’t even sit out to breath as there are a million of mosquitoes, And had to leave first thing in the morning. The towels and bed sheets I don’t know even that was washed or not it was with all stains. Star few people are humble but manager is very Rude Please don’t stay here if you have an option

I booked for 8.9.22 and specifically told their Manager that I was arriving by Cocana Express from Hyderabad and will be leaving same day. The train scheduled to arrive at 4.30 am actually arrived at 10.30 am. I called up the reception around 9 am and told about the delay and requested to keep breakfast separately. I reached the Hotel around 10.40. When I enquired about the breakfast the reception staff told that breakfast closed at 10.30. When I told the same Manager he was very rude and asked me what was the time and can't expect any breakfast at that time. I politely told him that the train was delayed and I had informed him about it. He shouted as if I had done a great crime by coming late by 10 minutes and was not ready to listen to the fact that it was due to delay in train about which I had already informed. I had earlier stayed in this hotel few years ago when they were very polite and helpful. I hope the management is aware of such arrogance and trains their Manager to handle customer requirements better

If you are expecting fresh morning walk on the blank of Godavari River, is good stay. Hotel surrounding area is very large and not maintained well. You can see garbage in the corners of gardens, tress etc. Rooms and food is average. However, I liked early morning walking and various birds. one monkey found roaming on the blank of river inside hotel premises

The resort has an old school charm. You will love the peace and serenity of the place. The view of the Godavari river is awesome. We also got a room with the river view. Staff were courteous and food was very good. However, some places lacked maintenance and cleaning. While booking I had paid extra for 3 persons, but I was made to pay again for the extra bed. But overall, a nice experience.

The rooms are not that neat and clean. As the hotel is present on the river bay. So there are mosquitoes and insects entering the hotel room. Thats really a bad experience. The only positive point is that it is located on banks of river.

Costly for the amenities provided. The rooms & the venue are not kept clean. No proper CC TV cameras either. Recently conducted my wedding here & the housekeeper stole my wife's ring, didn't get any support to find it from the management.

I am disappointed with the recent experience at the hotel we booked. We specifically chose this hotel after filtering for properties with a swimming pool, as it was an important amenity for our stay. However, upon arrival, the hotel manager, Mr. Balaji, informed us that the swimming pool is exclusively for members and not available to guests. This information contradicts what we were led to believe when making the reservation. What is more concerning is Mr. Balaji's attitude and comments towards us. Instead of addressing the issue professionally and with courtesy, he made derogatory remarks, calling us "illiterates." Such behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As customers, we expect to be treated with respect and honesty, and this experience has left us with a negative impression of the hotel. We believe that the hotel management should uphold the advertised amenities and maintain a level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with guests Timings different to what they mentioned: 2 to 5 pm for water parks, for swimming pool Nylon cloths mandatory, and they won't providing. Per head 250rs to access swimming pool. If you pay 250 and they allow anyone, no need to book room. But manager Balaji inform everyone that its exclusively for members not even for guests. No lounges, no restaurant.

Only the view and room service is good. Else everything is in broken condition. Rooms are in bad condition. Walls are totally damp. In our 1st room even the taps don't work properly. Washrooms are not that clean. Receptionists are careless. They were even counting the stay duration wrong. And if you correct them, they will show bad attitude. And if you have your own car, get ready to see it covered in bird poop every morning, as they have no covered parking. In our case it got so bad that we had to wash our car just after checkout. And if you tell them about it they will just shrug it off saying there's nothing that can be done. If you are going with the same tariff then better to stay at some other hotels than this. Ours was an official trip and this was the first time we stayed here, so we had no option to change in between.

Attended a conference today at Riverbay. The hotel is nice just beside the river and with green lawns. The food served was good. But it was not from the restaurant. It was provided by them but was ordered as part of the conference The halls were neatly maintained as were the washrooms with regular cleaning

Prices are decent. However, rooms are not cleaned properly. The location is one of the best in Rajahmundry. Staff is helpful. The river side seating area is awesome, but cannot sit for longer because of mosquitoes.

No proper room maintenance seen...faced many issues while using it...not preferable to stay...Very bad smell is spreading in the rooms...Wash room locks are not working properly. I side the washroom..not at all good. Inside the room,not cleansing...worst room I've ever stayed....not worthy for the rent.

Great place with an amazing view, even though the buildings are old, they still have been well maintained. But it's the view of vast Godavari that makes all the difference. It is situated at the center of Rajamundry and all places are accessible very close by. We went as friends and it was only a good place accessible for bachelors

Very delighted with the service given by staff and the view from the room was worth every penny. Found the rooms very basic to stay but the view from this hotel can't be compared with any other hotel in Rajahmundry. Definitely worth the money and we are very satisfied with the food and hospitality by staff.

It is a very big complex consisting kalyana mandapam. a resort, 2 restaurants and big lawns with ample parking space. Very centrally located with scenic Godavari river bank on its western side. Game’s complex is also there

I always like my stay here. Beautiful views, serene atmosphere. Courteous staff and service. Restaurants good. Only problem, maintenance is not upto standard and is lagging. Will certainly recommend, instead of the routine hotels.

Amazing place. Right on the banks of Godavari river. The rooms are big and spacious. Food might seem a tad overpriced but quantity is quite generous. There is a railway track right across the entrance road and would thrill railfans. Lots of space for parking.

The River View from the Rooms is Amazing 🤩. The management needs to look at ways they could control the Mosquito breeding inside the rooms. The breakfast buffet was okay. Maintenance could have been better

This was the second time we stayed at the River Bay Resort. Every time, it has been a wonderful stay. The location is superb and is the perfect place to unwind and get some rest. We make a stopover during our road trips from Chennai to Calcutta... There is ample parking space and we'll protected. The food is mouth watering. We had chilli paneer and fried rice. They were delicious. The people are very friendly and there has been prompt service always. Special thanks to Mr Balaji who always took care of our bookings. The rooms are well kept and extremely comfortable. The view of the mighty Godavari river from the room is excellent Will not hesitate to stay over for a third time. The well kept Gardens and the greenery is an added bonus

Pathetic is the right word. I heard alot of positive things about this hotel and hence choose to stay here for a day. Room quality, staff behaviour and hygiene factors are below zero. No value for money paid. Please check the room before you occupy. I have many things explain about my 2 hours experience but this space is not sufficient.

Rooms are a little old but the best location and good views. They have nearby water activities. Iskcon at walkable distance.

Overall experience was okay. We travelled with our pet (cat) & we booked from MMT where mentioned that it’s a pet friendly hotel. When we reached they asked for extra money (1500) for pet. We travelled from kolkata by car & it was evening time we had no other option except to give extra money. Room was spacious & clean, bathroom was also very spacious. The view was also good.

The room and the location is absolutely beautiful and perfect. The scenic from the balcony is amazing. The hotel staff however are very rude and impolite. The Captain’s restaurant staff were misbehaving with us. Overall the hotel was worth the money with the view and they stay, however staff could be trained better.

Awesome location but it is an old property with no so friendly service. Food is available only in certain timings.. guests with kids and senior citizen to watch out. The only good is only property on the banks of river godavari.

Worst maintenance and unhygienic rooms. Zero worth for the money. Even lodges nearby are little clean. No standards at all. A big No to this place. And their pool and water games are in such a bad condition, you will surely get some diseases if you get into it. Rooms are not at all maintained clean and its a kind of old building. Paying such a huge amount to them, you will surely be disappointed. I generally dont write google reviews but people should not fall into their trap. Hence I am writing this. Other day in Rajamundry I stayed in Anand Regecy for lesser price than River bay and I should surely compliment their standards in Anand Regecy. Very nice location, awesome view. Room was spacious but old construction, ac was too old and no air circulation. there were frog, centipede roaming in the bathroom, food is average and overpriced.

Staff sitting at the front desk don’t want business I guess, when i directly reached out to the hotel to block a room … they told me no availability but I booked online and showed them confirmation.. for which they made me wait and responded rudely… they need to be trained on how to treat customers with respect and provide value..

This is my second on the same hotel, after 7 years. My feedback: Positives - Location, close to markets, temples, Ghats etc. On the river, I would say - Property, other than Rooms - greener, spacious, airy and on the banks of the River - People, are good and helpful - Parking - was enough and under the Trees. One caution, please DO NOT park under the Trees. Your car will be drenched with birds dropping. The security guard was friendly. Reception - spacious. I interacted with Ms. Mounica. She was good and resourceful. However, allotted us a shabby room. Later we got it changed. Rooms - upkeep of our first room was pathetic. It looked liked like a lodge, in fact lodge would be better. Broken tiles, dirty WC, soiled taps, colored walls, uneven wooden floor (almost tripped). We had to raise our voice to change a room. This room is better, but not to the extent. Rooms a serious facelift and rennovation.

Situated on the banks of river Godaveri this property has a fantastic view. It's huge, decent cost wise and service is pretty good. Food is equally good be it buffet breakfast or a-la-carte options. Their portion size is huge almost double. Worth visiting again!!

The review based on one night spent on this resort, didn't get time to explore much. Reached at evening 6:30 and it was already dark and left early morning. Based on this sort stay I can give this good rating. Room and the sorrouning are clean and nicely maintained. The food quality on resturant are very good. One suggest do not park your vehicle under the trees, the birds make it completely dirty in one night 😂.

Boat ride in river is cancelled due to previous mishap an year ago. If again restarted with all due safety precautions, it would be great fun.

The rooms are old. Have a bad smell. Not worth the price they charge. The location is good and view is very nice. We stayed in a standard room for a night.

Average place, hotel itself is not that great. Compared to amenities offered, it's expensive.. few rooms only have rever view, I have got "non-rever front" room.. pricy restaurant, very average food.. altogether, may not be worth the payment..

Well designed n well kept Cafeteria has good options and road is very approach and easy to find. Great room service. Some bathrooms need renovation. Lots of mosquitoes and this definitely needs to be addressed on high priority

Excellent location. Stayed for a night during road trip. Next to river bank, beautiful view in the morning. Good parking space, and there is a big gym too. Nice clean, not too big room.

Excellent property in Rajahmundry. The Riverfront suite are a must stay. The early morning stroll river side is a great starter to the day. Extended my stay just by the ambience of the place. Helpful and courteous staff. Good Food both in room service and in restaurant.

The location, food and exterior nuance is great. Amazing breakfast menu and tasty too. Full points there. But these are following underlining issues. 1. Looking at rooms, they are over priced. 2. Bedsheets are not properly cleaned or using old ones with stains of blood n whatever stuff. 2. Room is too tiny (not the ones with balcony) and hence need better interior layouting. 3. They don't serve normal water. At least house keeping said so. Which should not be there. 4. The curtains are really uncool old fashioned and old as well. They were stinking and needs to be replaced.

Location: The location of this beautiful cozy resort is right on the bank of river Godavari and away from city noise. Rooms: We stayed at Deluxe Room which was on the first floor with a stunning view of Godavari. The room had a spacious balcony with a full-length sliding door from the room. The linens and bathroom were clean. Service: The staff is prompt and cooperative. Food: We had only breakfast here which was very good. Overall, it was a beautiful stay and we will always look forward to keeping coming back.

The front desk staff likes to play games with guests. They will tell you a minute before the check-in time that your booking cannot be honored by them. They would tell you that they have mistakenly over-booked the property or one of the blocks is closed. Then they will offer you another hotel as a compensation which will be way cheaper than this hotel. They must be enjoying doing this to their guests. Probably they must be calling playing such games as the highest degree of professionalism. So beware ! The property may be alright; I am not sure since I couldn't stay their. But if you should book this hotel, then my suggestion to you is that book another hotel in parallel to this as a precautionary measure because you never know when the front desk / reservation staff would call you to break the news that your booking is not being honored by them ! It's fun ! Enjoy it.

Positive: Amazing Location, as the name says proper river bay hotel. Awesome view of river Godavari. Negative: Rooms are not at all maintained. Looks like an abandoned hotel. The garden around also dried up and not well maintained. Lost opportunity!

Awesome location. Basic yet functional rooms provide excellent views. Upper floor rooms have balconies. Both the rooms allotted to us had a weird smell, they sprayed room freshener to mask it, we opened the balcony door and it made it a bit bearable though lots of mosquitos swarmed in, low rating for the room is attributed to this smell and the mosquitos. We noticed plates and dishes with leftover foods at the staircase when we checked in, those were still present next morning when we checked out. This was unhygienic and may have contributed to the smell. We only stayed for a night, checked in at 8pm and checked out next morning 6am. The hotel served our purpose, but it'd be great if they kindly pay attention to our observation. Staffs are helpful, particularly the person who helped with our bags. The restaurant is good, quick service, great spicy food, attentive staff. Their credit card machine did not work during check out, it was inconvenient as mobile network was also poor to rule out UPI payment, we had to pay cash.

The housekeeping staff were not attending the guests. I asked for coffee in the morning for 5 times, I didn't get it. But, my adjacent cottage got it delivered in front of me. Also, mid-night power cuts without any intimation. Good location.! Could have been a better experience with some better management.

Hotel refused Early check in even though requested at the time of booking. Breakfast was over by the time I reached restaurant and they even tell time and remind. Room quality isn't that good. They don't give you riverside resorts. Do not book. Rude staffs. Never book again.

A well located and designed hotel, managed very bad like old govt services. Better ask them to use bed bug spray before u check in. Don't even dare to use thier kids water park(skin allergies for sure). Swimming pool is well maintained. Don't expect any room service. Breakfast was nice at thier restaurant.

Good location on the banks of Godavari and next to the ISCKON temple. Stayed here for a night on our road trip from Kolkata to Bangalore. Rooms did not look that well maintained but the food is really good. The buffet breakfast was delicious as well and has only South Indian varieties and Toast n boiled eggs as well. The butter milk n vanilla milkshake are not to be missed. The hotel has a huge car park and staff are helpful and polite. Overall a good stay for Rs 2800 for 3 ppl.
