The restaurant is super nice and I had really great service by our waiter, Liann. The food is AMAZING!!! Such nice people!

Update for 7/4/23: The Texas Brisket hash on the special menu is fantastic! This new First Watch is just under a mile from my house which makes it a pleasant walking destination for lazy and not so lazy breakfasts. I have been here several times since they opened and my favorite menu items so far are the breakfast tacos and the Trifecta (blueberry pancake, eggs, bacon). The service is always attentive and the kitchen moves quickly. It should be mentioned that they only serve whole grain toast so if you need toast with your breakfast, that’s your only choice. If you’re looking for simple eggs bacon and white toast you’re probably going to be disappointed be if you’re a little more adventurous with your breakfast choices there’s a lot of options on the menu and you will likely find something you enjoy.

The service was quick and efficient. Our server, Li Ann, was so nice and quick to help us. The food was amazing, fresh, and cooked fast!! We had a full table of ten and our food came out in less than ten minutes. Totally worth it!!

Nice environment in downtown Raleigh. Clean restaurant. Service was excellent. Lots of healthy choices for breakfast. You’ll like it here.

Went to brunch with my family. Jean was our waiter. Fabulous food, fabulous waiter and fabulous time. I highly recommend.

Food is excellent— every time. I especially recommend the French toast. The fall tonic is crazy good too! And the last few times Kareem has been our server. Let’s just say he’s a mind reader. Put First Watch on your list of breakfast haunts!

We’ve been coming here most weekends for a few months now, and it’s great! They open early, the food is great, the staff is attentive. Kareem has been here almost every time we’ve come in, and he’s been great, even when he wasn’t our server. Parking is easy, too.

Tried this location for the 1st time after my sister's graduation, It was a party of 6. Walking in, there were no hostesses, and it took a while to get seated. We finally got a seat and waited for about 10 minutes before getting drinks or being greeted. By this point, we're all pretty annoyed because yeah, it's graduation. It might be busy, but it wasn't super packed to the point that no one was even coming to check the table. So finally, our server, who wasn't really our server, comes over and takes drinks and orders for the table because by that point, everybody knew what they wanted to eat. Fast forward, the drinks come to the table, and my glass has lipstick residue on it, ewww, disgusting. Who's washing the dishes? The orders have been placed. We wait for what feels like ever just to get some traditional breakfast, and they end up being not even great. Hard potatoes and cold toast. I could on, but honestly, that was not a great experience. The cocktail was nice, tho.

This is a great place for breakfast and brunch! There are so many options to choose from whether you want sweet or savory. Everything tasted great, wasn't overly expensive and the staff was very friendly. Our server, Gabriella was fantastic! She's so sweet, was happy to answer any questions we had and checked on us to make sure we were ok throughout the meal. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu!

Came into first watch expecting there to be a long wait. But we were seated immediately. Our waiter Jeff was excellent. Gave our food in a timely manner. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we were good. And overall he just brought positive energy. Definitely will be coming back.

First Watch is always great, but I was so excited that a downtown location opened up! AM Superfoods Bowl was great as always and Jeff took great care of me when I was having a quiet morning without kids! Highly recommend!
