Really wasn’t anything special about the hotel. No pool or microwaves in the rooms. They have a microwave at the front desk they can use to heat stuff for you, but the night staff wasn’t the friendliest about it. The pillows are all really thick. We paid for a room with a tub but that’s not what we got. We were credited for the difference. Definitely not worth the price.

This hotel is in a great location. In the heart of the North Hills Shopping Center. Walkable access to Target, restaurants, and numerous shops. The clerks at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean for the most part. An awesome stay overall!

Usually a good place to stay but they get overwhelmed when having a conference or special event. The quality has dropped significantly recently. Our rooms air conditioning wasn't working, the floor was wet when we got in our room, they bathtub drain was clogged and would drain, and then gave us a late check out then took it away. The buffet is used to be good but now the food was mostly cold or luke warm. I don't recommend staying here, especially weekdays because of the construction right outside your window. It use to be my favorite place but when you use points and create a certain status, they shouldn't take your perks away and create a major inconvenience.

This place is a little underwhelming for the price and the hype. The rooms were clean, the shower was nice and there was a tv screen in the bathroom mirror which was pretty unnecessary but cool nonetheless I suppose. The money to do that could’ve been better spent on other amenities in my opinion. The room felt a bit rundown and as if it could’ve used a facelift. Overall I had a good experience and enjoyed my stay.

I am a huge fan of renaissance and I really wanted to give 5 stars but the waitstaff in the breakfast area were rude. Pillows arent comfortable and AC is really noisy. Front desk staff are great though! This is in a beautiful area.

Location was great but the room accomodations didn't match up to the very high price. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the bedding and towels hard and dingy, room decor was awful , and the rugs most definitely need to be cleaned. Nope I will not pay to stay in this hotel again

The customer service was off the charts. Corey, the front desk manager was so friendly and went above and beyond for myself and the group I was traveling with. Thank you for being amazing Corey!! The hotel is in a super cute, walkable area with lots of shops and restaurant choices and even target for any forgotten necessities. The only downside was that rooms facing the highway do get a lot of highway noise all night.

Absolutely not worth the price at all, I guess they're cashing in on the location. The pillows were dirty and makeup covered. There's no microwave or fridge which can be found at even your most basic hotel, just a cooler to keep your items fresh, like I'm staying at a campground or something.Only 2 washcloths were provided but 5 towels. Should have read up on the amenities better for sure and stayed at the Hilton.

Nice stay here for a few nights! Wonderful location in the North Hills area within walking distance to Target and various shops and eateries (even in neighbouring complexes). There were a few marks on one of our pillows and it was clear the pad of paper was well used (not that many sheets left, although we respect it not going to waste, it was a bit unfavourably bent as well). Other than that, no complaints. The front staff desk were kind and receptive, and we couldn't hear any construction going on in nearby buildings. However, we stayed from a Friday to Monday, so perhaps that's the reason. We requested a mini fridge prior to our stay and they gave us some small bottled water at arrival. Would stay here again when in Raleigh!

I am local to the area so I was very excited to stay at the hotel; North Hills is a top tier location and there is much 'hype' about the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed a bit frazzled. I was also only provided verbal suggestions on where to park and how to access the hotel from the parking garage, a printed map would've been helpful. The room was...disgusting. There are stains on the carpet yellow stains on the pillowcases but, the bathroom was the worst - there was a huge toenail on the floor, hair on the toilet seat, in the shower, and on the floor. The bath mats were also dingy. The housekeeping manager was overflowing with excuses and the housekeeping staff looked disheveled. Cleanliness is a major issue at the hotel, but apparently Marriott management is oblivious. This is NOT what I expected from the hotel. It claims to be a 4 star hotel but it showed more like a 3 star. The stay was definitely not worth the price tag. Based on my recent experience, I'd advise to skip the hotel and enjoy the wonderful dining at the surrounding restaurants instead, lodge somewhere else.

This hotel was perfect for my weekend getaway! The decor and pleasant employees were a plus. The location is top tier, with all the stores & restaurants that are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here if your looking to park the car and walk to all the hit spots nearby. 💎

Good location in North Hills, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Agreement to use Active Fitness facilities for free, well equipped gym right in front of the hotel. Bar closes too early: 1000 pm

Consistently average. Staff seem to have trouble with the hotel’s systems. Recently called requesting receipts for May and November 2023 stays. Was assured they would be sent to me in 30 minutes. 2 hours later no receipts and no call. When I called back I was told there was a glitch in the system. They suggested I call back in the morning. I asked they leave a note for the manager re the issue. I was told that probably wouldn’t work. Asked for an email. Was provided a general email for Concord Hotels. That’s not 4 star hotel service. Air BNB next time.

Clearly this is not a fancy hotel but its nice. We stayed here for a family reunion and this is the hotel they picked. It was quiet and nice, affordable and in a great location. You have a little food strip that is walkable right in the front of the hotel. A target is on the other side of the same garage and an outlet mall is up top the target. The only 2 things I didn't like is that they don't have a pool or a jacuzzi. I'm not one for the pool but my boyfriend is; I prefer a jacuzzi. In the pics of the hotel on google it shows a pool but when we asked about it they said they didn't have one. However, the Marriott on crab tree about 12-15 minutes out is a sister property and if you go to the front desk and ask they will let them know at the Marriott and you can go swim over there. The other thing which the hotel can't help is that there are roaches in the parking garage. Big ones!!! We didn't see any in the hotel or in our room and please keep in mind the parking garage has two other components so just be careful when wheeling your luggage to the elevator which is enclosed!

Immediately upon checking in, Dominique was attentive, kind, and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and cooled when entering. Everyone we encountered was courteous and professional. Thank you to Vickie at 41Hundred who attended to our breakfast needs. Thank you Renaissance for making our getaway relaxing!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I attended a conference and when the banquet AV people were asked to hook up a TV next to our booth so I could watch Ohio State football they had it hooked up in minutes. Amazing 🤩

David at the front desk is a gem. My wife and I were enjoying a cocktail when an unruly client arrived to check in. The client was rude, loud and just plain nasty. David handled the situation perfectly. My wife and I came over to David afterwards to compliment him on his customer service and demeanor. He’s a keeper.

Pretty neat atmosphere, each room has real art, it’s spotless and feels relatively new. Breakfast is a hotel restaurant where the food is good but the service was ok. Shopping right out the front door and food too! Also a target within walking distance through the shopping streets. Underground parking which I love since it happened to be raining. They do have valet which we used as well. It was a great hotel and I would stay there again.

Awesome location, rooms, and service! I gave them a five-star review due to the hotel not being pet friendly. I understand the concept of people desiring to take their pets with them, but I also have to look at the bigger picture. Don't get me wrong, I am not an animal hater, my relatives have dogs that I take care of when they are out of town and that actually stay in my house. However, there are people who are seriously afraid of animals as well as, severely allergic to them. I commend the hotel on providing a safe and comfortable space for those people. I am not opposed to service animals, but family pets are another issue. Keep up the good work Renaissance and Marriott!

I would definitely stay here again. I was almost scared off by the other reviews because a number of them weren't so nice. I'm happy that I didn't switch hotels because this place does a very nice job attending to their guests. Also, the location can't be beat, just about every restaurant and retail stores are within walking distance so you don't need to drive if you don't want to.

We stay here all the time and are never disappointed. They exceed our expectations at every visit. I was WOWED by the Valet attendant. I left my phone in my vehicle. I noticed I didn't have it when I got to my room on the fifth floor. As I approached the elevator to go get it, the door opens and it is the Valet attendant with my phone. A truly amazing experience. I will be back next month. Customer service at it's best!

This was my second time staying at the Renaissance Raleigh, the rooms and entire Hotel are always clean and have anything you may need during your stay. Very friendly and professional staff. They have high-end toiletries and do not skimp in this department. Although I did not eat at the restaurant I did enjoy a beverage and the woman that was tending the bar had a wonderful smile and was very friendly, she was certainly hustling but still did a great job accommodating every guest there. The Hotel is located conveniently in the middle of a wonderful shopping center called North Hills, there are restaurants, shops, and even a movie theatre within a very short walk.

People were lovely. However, from day one, there were a variety of issues. The barn door for the bathroom did not hang properly and left a 2 inch gap open on the bottom half when the door was closed. Maintenance did, however, repair it that evening. They had two Aveda conditioners hanging in the shower, rather than one shampoo and one conditioner. This was never replaced, regardless of the fact that I mentioned it to the front desk on three different occasions. We had to leave early one morning to attend an event. We were using valet parking and they said since we were leaving before valet would open, they would leave the car parked out front of the hotel and leave the key with the front desk. When we came down the next morning, the car was not there and the key could not be located. 15 minutes later, the valet who finally arrived was able to locate the key with the help of maintenance and get the car for us. We were, however, delayed for our outing. In addition, we requested room service for each day of our four night stay. The first full day, housekeeping did not show up until 4:30 in the afternoon when we were showering and preparing to go out for the evening. We asked them to come back the next day. They did and they cleaned it that second day. However, the rest of our stay we never saw housekeeping. This was not a cheap stay at a motel six. And yet, it did not meet the standards of our expectations or our payments.

Booked a stay here at the last minute and was thoroughly impressed. I typically stay with Hyatt when I’m in North Hills but The Renaissance will be my new place to stay. The staff here are all really nice people! Had a few drinks at the lounge and the bartender was extremely personable and made our experience even better. The room itself was spacious and decorated very nicely. The bed was probably one of the comfiest hotel beds I’ve slept in (I travel almost every week so I have slept in a lot of hotel beds)! The hotel also has great views of the North Hills area. Already planning my next trip back!

The stay was fine, but, their computer system needs to be checked. My reservation dates were wrong and final bill was not consistent with my reservation amount. They kindly corrected and credited my account. The Staff was very friendly. Good job folks.

I loved my stay there. The room was clean. We enjoyed the shower two jets and TV and the bathroom. We ate breakfast there. it was delicious and the staff was courteous and accommodating. Plus shopping right outside the hotel.

The hotel is nice and in a convenient location, and the staff was friendly, but it's not drastically nicer than any other hotel. It was also surprisingly loud at night with people running through the halls at 1 am which I would not expect from a location like this. Overall good, but there is better value elsewhere

I had an amazing time this Valentines weekend. Rooms were clean, food was good, bed slept nice. This hotel needs to change from 4 star to 5. We had a gift package for two which consists of champagne 🍾, Strawberry 🍓, Chocolate 🍫 and breakfast buffet, it was beautiful however, I did not drink the champagne but love the chocolate. We shopped, had dinner at firebird, and enjoyed a movie, (Marry Me)😍🥰. This is a very nice reasonable price hotel along with shopping areas and wonderful places to eat and just a walk away. Please check them out!!!!
