The room was massive , with everything you can imagine, nice toiletries, big shower and comfy beds. However they don’t ride up the room everyday automatically they do it every other day or you can ask for daily at a cost. The room has a basic coffee machine with pods that come in both caffeinated and decaffeinated and complimentary water bottles . Overall I highly recommend the hotel and the location is amazing

Hotel is in a great spot if you are visiting NC State. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they charge you $12 per day to park. I get when they do this when you are near a major transportation hub or space is very limited but that’s not the case here. Just one of those things that I feel is a money grab. Besides that great place to stay

Mediocre stay. Walls are truly paper thin - you can hear next door conversations. They have old noisy AC/heaters. I was in a room not facing the clock tower and every night at 1/2am there were loud trash trucks emptying commercial trash bins that woke me up. Front desk attendants weren’t the most helpful and I needed to ask for elite breakfast credit, breakfast hours etc. They also overcharged for parking. Only positive was they allowed dogs for $30/night. I would check out other places next time I’m in Raleigh.

The Aloft hotel at NC State is amazing and the location to campus can’t be beat. We had a great view of the bell tower and had easy access to the many shops and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff are superb and customer service throughout our stay was amazing. The rooms are spacious and on point. We visited the bar one evening during our stay and the bartender, Cal, is friendly and tells great stories. If you visit this hotel, be sure to say hello to Cal and tip accordingly!

Very clean hotel located across the street from NC State. Several different local amenities nearby. Staff were friendly. Two places to park on the deck in the garage which is $12 fee. Lots of nearby things to do since it’s downtown ! Great place to stay !

I really liked this hotel. The location is good to walk, and restaurants are nearby. I liked the view, and the property is quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. However, the bathroom was a little odd in direct relation to the bed, with a frosted bathroom window next to it. There wasn't a microwave in the room. That was a little disappointing, I had to go downstairs to warm up my soup. I'm a platinum member, and the staff kept trying to come into our room, even though we had late check out, that was identified on our account. Big positive, the staff was friendly and there is an onsite bar where there was live music the afternoon we left.

Lovely stay at Aloft Raleigh. Beautiful modern design! The room was clean and the bed was absolutely comfortable! The staffs are very helpful! We also went to the bar and they make such great drinks! If you have electric vehicles, they have charger for you. Make sure to talk to the receptionist though if you get charged for using your points. Because you shouldn't. :)

Upon arrival, you have to go on the second floor to get your room. It's an inconvenience to use keys to operate the elevators. The room temperatures was either too hot or cold. Our room was not ready uppn arrival. My mom and I did some activities came back and room was still not ready. Above all that it was ok to stay here.

Really great. I travel all over from ritz to st Regis to marriotts and I stayed here cause I had my pup with me. Amazing staff. I mean you would’ve thought you were at a ritz. Called me by name the entire trip. Welcoming. Kind. Helpful. Just went way above and beyond when you wouldn’t think they needed to. Area is great. Restaurants and coffee shop nearby.

Entrance is far from obvious, but better to go in via the back of the hotel and park there. Entrance from the street (Hillsbroug) Room is nice enough, although the blinds only allow black out, or revealing yourself to the apartment block behind. Eek, scary for them. The front desk girl was sweet, and helpful. The bar was closed, I think. The drip behind the bar proclaiming to NOT be a bartender wasn’t really clear. The tap beer was completely off as they were maintaining the cooling. Overall, nice hotel, but could do with some sharpening up.

This is one of the cleanest, will run hotel we’ve stayed in. I’m a Titanium with Bonvoy! Kathryn was awesome! She made our stay very special! Gonza next door was awesome as well. Food and service was excellent. Very tasty! I would stay here again!

The room was adequate, and some touch-ups wouldn't hurt, but overall, decent. Everyone of the staff members I had contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. Right in the middle of everything, from what I could tell.

I'll start by saying I really liked this hotel. Staff was friendly, comfy beds, huge room and in a great location. Easy to walk to several restaurants. I stayed here 6 days and 5 nights and not once was the room cleaned or replenished with fresh towels after several requests. There is a sign that tells you after the 3rd night they will service your room. I waited patiently and then asked about service three times and it was just never done.

The staff is very friendly and personable. Wonderful location with good views. I highly recommend for families visiting students at NCSU. The food selection is small but decent and there is a solid bar and lounge area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with great access to heat and AC.

I've stayed here a couple of times, and both were fantastic. The staff are so friendly, and they go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds especially. I enjoy the modern, clean design and the art that decorates everywhere. Thanks for helping making my stays perfect.

We booked a double queen bed room. We were checked in and given key cards that didn’t work. When we informed the front desk, she tried to open the room herself, however even the master key would not open the lock. So she told us our only other option is the have a king with pull out couch. When we got to our room, they told us we would have to make the bed ourselves because housekeeping had already left for the day. We left to get dinner and by the time we returned we still did not have any sheets or blankets for the pull out couch. When they finally brought some, they only brought us a fitted sheet and 4 pillow cases. It being 9:30 pm at this point, we called the front desk again hoping just to receive a blanket for covers. We never got extra towels or pillows. When taking a shower, the water pressure was that of a light mist. Absolutely impossible to wash my hair. The service could have been slightly more accommodating after the room switch, knowing there would be 4 guests in 1 room. But there was not. Pretty disappointed in the Aloft Raleigh.

I’ve been a Marriott member for years and always prefer Marriott hotels when traveling for work and personal travel. I have had to change many reservations due to last minute changes for whatever reason and never had a problem. Even canceling a room last minute! It seems loyal customers no longer matter to Marriott, they would prefer short term profit over long term brand loyalty. After having some meetings cancel I call the global reservations desk and local hotel to move my reservation but was told I would be charged for the night regardless because I was within the 48 hour window (~30 hours before checking). To make things worse, the Marriott I was staying at the next night had a 72 hour cancellation and they also charged me the night. So ensure there are no last minute changes in your plans as Marriott will not be flexible for you… no matter your status.

The staff is extremely friendly, from the overnight front desk staff to the bartender. Thank you so much for the great experience I've stayed at many Alofts, all over the US & this is by far THE BEST Aloft I've ever stayed at in my life, possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed at; they make you feel like family! Alexis is extremely sweet. Maria loves mine & my wife's dogs. Dwight is honestly my hero, we had the best conversation and I truly appreciate him for all that he does! Robin, the bartender is I've ever had an experience with, and I have been to a lot of bars! Edie is amazing! Thank you all for everything you do!

First time staying at this hotel and it was absolutely lovely!!! First off, the front desk staff was so friendly and made my family and I feel welcomed. The young man (I think his name is Dwight) gave my aunt and I 2 drink vouchers each because I told him it was her birthday!! Also, we told the bartender to surprise us with a tropical drink and IT WAS THE BEST DRINK I’VE EVER HAD! The room was HUGE (probably 600 sq ft) and all the amenities were amazing! LOVE the location on NC state campus too. I will definitely be staying here again!!! 11/10!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Nothing fancy, but not spartan either. Very nice lobby bar and a friendly staff. Excellent location.

My wife, son, and I stayed here for 28 nights during the summer of 2022 while our house was being repaired. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, and we never had a bad day. The bar/lounge area was a pleasant place to hang out, and the service was great. We were sad to leave!

Had a really good experience, except for the parking for EV vehicles. Guest should be told not to park in those parking spots unless they have an electric vehicle. Other than that I cannot complain

Last year when I was in football camp we had to stay overnight, so we decided this one was a good choice. The service was really good and had a timely breakfast when I woke up. I highly recommend as a place to stay

Top notch in every way. From check in, to the room, to the bed, to the shower, to the coffee shop, the building, the tequila bar, the fast elevators, the dog-friendly staff, the big surface lot for my truck, the air quality, the wi-fi, how quiet the rooms are. I could go on. Stay here!

The girls at the desk and cook were top notch and very attentive, We were checked in Sunday 7/31 by an amazing guy at 12am and was greeted by such a hospitable and professional staff when we awoke for breakfast. We went to the GalaxyCon that was a short drive away. We will be back!

This is a great spot located near local shops and restaurants. The stay was great, and most of the staff are very friendly and attentive! We felt safe and comfortable staying here. My only complaint would be the bedding... Strange comforters. (Pillows were 10/10...!)

This is a boutique type of hotel. It is conveniently located across from NC State. Nice bar and pool. Rooms are comfy and roomy. I wish the TVs had streaming options rather than just cable, but overall, the convince is good.

Tried to have an event here and the "sales rep" that was supposed to help me was not helpful at all he started off the convo with an I can't help you attitude and didn't tell me directly that I couldn't have my event there but proceeded to tellme all of the things the staff don't do 😐😑 if you don't want to host things at your hotel just say that. There's no need to make me feel like this would be a horrible experience just so I won't use your facility. Rude not helpful at all im digusted honestly

Was only here for a few hours at the bar (night before a wedding) but it was a beautiful hotel! Very modern and beautiful decor! Bar was awesome and drinks were great!

The location is great for waking purposes. The rooms near the street are really loud. (I was in room 202). No hot water most of the days I was there. I did find a tiny bug on my pillow (not sure if it was a bedbug or clover mite as I had no bites) don't think I'd stay again.

This was a really good stay on the NC State University, North Campus. The location could not be any better, you are right. In the middle of everything across from the clock tower. The rooms were a little small but definitely well maintained. No one could explain to me why there were no clocks in the room, apparently there were clocks and they were later removed, maybe they will put them back. The parking is tight, as a result, someone did a bump and run right outside the entrance door and we couldn’t find them on camera. Overall, we would definitely go back.

This hotel is absolutely excellent. I stay here quite frequently because I have a lot of friends who live in the area. Robin and Cy are super friendly individuals who make me feel like I’m part of the aloft family every single time I visit. They refer to me by name without having to remind them. The rooms are wonderful for the price and clean. If you frequently visit downtown raleigh this is the place to be. Even if you’re just visiting for a single time, the staff will make you feel like you’ve visited 100x. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We had a large group of 47 high school students plus chaperones, visiting Raleigh for the first time for a choral convention. The Aloft is within walking distance of many dining options and has a little convenience store with snacks, drinks, and breakfast options. The hotel staff was more than accommodating during our stay, keeping in close contact with our group and anticipating our needs - everything from extra towels to an impromptu birthday party for a member of our group. I highly recommend this hotel for your group needs. They'll take care of you!
