Update:
This
location
has
now
put
me
on
a
"Do
Not
Rent"
list
because
I
complained.
This
was
my
first
experience
at
a
Microtel,
so
I
did
not
know
what
the
process
was
for
extending
my
stay.
I
had
called
the
800
reservations
number
to
facilitate
the
extension
and
the
CS
person
I
spoke
with
also
did
not
inform
me
of
the
procedure.
I
am
sure
anyone
can
imagine
my
surprise
when
the
owner's
wife
came
knocking
on
my
door
asking
me
to
leave!
I
got
into
discussion
with
her
(and
later
her
husband)
about
what
needed
to
be
done
and
the
lack
of
communication
about
it
-
she
said
"this
isn't
an
Extended
Stay
Hotel,
if
you
want
to
stay
you
should
have
come
downstairs
and
paid
us."
I
asked
her
to
repeat
what
she
said,
thinking
that
I
had
misunderstood.
She
repeated
the
nasty
comment
and
said
that
I
should
have
known
to
come
downstairs
to
pay,
but
she
would
not
make
me
leave
*this
time*
if
I
took
care
of
it
ASAP.
I
went
downstairs
to
take
care
of
the
bill,
and
began
interacting
with
the
man
at
the
desk
(the
owner).
As
I
was
taking
care
of
the
bill,
I
was
expressing
my
shock
and
disappointment
in
the
bad
info
I
was
given
by
the
reservations
person
and
the
comments
made
by
the
woman
I'd
encountered
upstairs.
He
began
getting
irate,
repeated
the
comment
about
not
being
an
Extended
Stay
hotel
&
told
me
I
could
just
leave
if
I
couldn't
afford
to
stay
or
maybe
I
was
used
to
staying
at
a
different
type
hotel.
I
didn't
exactly
know
what
he
meant
by
that,
but
it
was
highly
offensive
and
I
told
him
so.
If
I
hadn't
been
stuck
there
with
no
transportation
I
would
definitely
have
checked
out
and
not
stayed
or
paid
another
night!
The
only
bright
spot
was
the
front
desk
STAFF,
who
made
an
otherwise
horrible
trip
a
bit
more
tolerable.
5*
for
THEM.
Also,
I
am
glad
i
asked
for
a
copy
of
my
complete
folio,
because
this
location
tried
to
cheat
me
out
of
my
$50
deposit.
I
know
full
well
that
if
it
was
a
temp
hold
the
charges
should
never
have
appeared
on
my
card
statement
but
sure
enough!
$50
charged
on
3/12
but
the
paper
folio
shows
that
the
funds
were
released.
If
I
hadn't
recently
reviewed
the
folio
(intuition
calling!),
I
never
would
have
seen
the
charge.
This
is
FRAUD
and
I
shudder
to
think
of
how
many
customers
this
has
been
done
to.
I
will
NEVER
stay
at
this
hotel
again,
and
probably
deactivate
my
Wyndham
account.
Your
operators
are
your
brand...this
location
is
an
EPIC
FAIL
for
generating
repeat
customers.
