Will
not
go
back
if
I
can
help
it.
My
experience
getting
patient
care
was
terrible.
It
started
with
the
ambulance
ride
there
but
1st
about
why
I
needed
help.
My
ankle
injury
turned
into
a
Gout
flare-up
that
was
so
server
and
extremely
painful
that
I
could
not
put
pressure
on
my
foot
that
had
swelled
3x's
its
size.
The
pain
level
was
10/10
&
started
4am
that
morning.
I
called
for
an
ambulance
at
9am
and
got
picked
up.
I
was
put
on
a
stretcher
that
my
foot
dangled
over
because
it
was
too
short.
As
they
were
pulling
me
in
my
driveway
they
veered
off
the
path
jolting
the
stretcher,
ugh.
They
took
my
blood
sugar
level
(normal)
and
got
me
to
this
hospital
but
did
not
drop
me
off
at
the
emergency
entrance,
instead
I
was
put
up
to
the
lobby
after
switching
me
into
a
wheelchair
in
the
parking
lot.
I
needed
my
leg
up
not
down
I
explained
because
the
pressure
was
unbearable.
I
got
checked
in
and
sat
in
the
waiting
room
even
tho
I
got
there
in
an
ambulance.
The
admin
nurse
saw
me
right
away.
During
all
this
I
can't
help
but
moan
in
pain
and
I
told
her
my
level
was
10/10.
Once
I
was
examined
and
all
my
info
and
reason
for
my
being
there
was
done,
they
put
me
in
a
hallway
with
the
broken
wheelchair
because
the
legstand
did
not
stay
in
up
position.
30
minutes
passed
and
no
one
had
helped
me.
The
stress
of
my
pain
caused
me
to
pass
out
after
90
minutes
of
sitting
and
I
hunched
for
who
knows
how
long.
Finally
a
doctor,
I
think,
came
and
woke
me.
I
was
a
little
disorient
and
tried
to
answer
her
questions.
I
can
tell
she
was
becoming
annoyed
with
my
response
even
tho
I
was
coming
out
of
a
fog.
I
got
it
together
and
told
her
why
I
was
there
and
my
pain
was
extremely
intolerable.
I
told
her
I
need
my
ankle
raised
up
or
somewhere
to
lay
down.
I
pleaded
for
this.
She
said
she
would
be
back
and
get
something
to
relieve
the
pain.
I
apologized
for
not
being
very
responsive
at
1st
telling
her
its
hard
to
focus
being
in
this
pain.
When
she
left
I
asked
a
nurse
for
help
with
my
wheelchair
and
she
couldn't
help.
There
was
a
bed
in
the
hallway
next
to
me
so
I
asked
if
I
could
just
lay
down
in
the
bed.
She
said
absolutely
not.
I
should
have
just
did
it
myself
and
laid
in
it
but
I
don't
like
to
cause
any
issues.
30
minutes
later
an
aid
came
over
to
give
me
pain
meds
but
1st
had
to
check
my
sugar
level.
I
told
her
they
did
that
in
the
ambulance
about
2hrs
ago
but
she
needed
to
do
it
again
or
I
cannot
get
the
meds
for
pain.
Once
I
got
the
meds
I
was
release
with
a
prescription.
She
wheeled
me
to
the
lobby
and
said
good
luck.
My
behavior
was
in
no
way
mean
or
direct
or
nasty.
I
was
very
patient
while
being
somewhat
neglected
and
I
felt
I
was
an
inconvenience.
I
also
do
expect
to
get
more
immediate
attention
since
I
was
brought
there
by
ambulance,
not
to
be
put
in
the
waiting
room.
Whether
they
were
busy
(waiting
room
was
empty)
or
not,
no
one
kept
me
in
the
loop
of
whats
going
on
while
waiting.
Some
of
the
medical
staff
should
maybe
find
a
new
career;
especially
that
doctor.
Saw
her
once
for
5
minutes
and
that
was
all.
Side
note,
I
had
called
my
wife
after
speaking
to
the
doctor
and
asked
her
to
come
get
me
out
this
hospital
and
go
somewhere
else
even
with
being
in
extreme
pain.
I
just
didn't
want
to
be
there
anymore.
