I was in the area after dropping my son off at the airport on mother's day 😞 and needed a little pick me up. Searched for vegan restaurants in the area and Pure Vegan Cafe was at the top of the list and had great reviews. The atmosphere was nice. It was cute. I waited a little longer than expected for the food because they were making fresh fries but IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! I ordered the Buffalo ranch fries and the Americana burger. I wanted to try the spicy sandwich but I'm not a big soy person. I ate my food on the way home and the fries were the first to go. They were delicious. Too much rosemary but still delicious and flavorful. I was questioning the burger because it looked like a real burger! Lol the taste was on point and had me wishing I purchased two!!! The cupcake wasn't overly sweet, it was moist and flavorful as well. I will be stopping by the next time I am in the area!

Wonderful place to get breakfast. We got chicken and waffles and a breakfast sandwich. They were sooo tasty, one of the best vegan breakfasts I’ve ever had. The sandwich was awesome and the chicken is incredible, so flavorful. Also the lattes are pretty great. A cute restaurant to hang out in the morning.

Visiting from out of town and always so hard to find good vegan food when traveling. Well we hit the jackpot. First day we had hamburgers and BBQ and Mac and cheese and it was amazing. Even my meat eater son loved his veggie burger and said he'll definitely go back. Second day we had breakfast and it was delicious. Smoothies and juices were so good with our breakfast. We will be going back again before we leave. Thank you for delicious vegan food.

I got the CHIPOTLE SALAD w/ Chicken. Best salad I have ever laid my eyes upon. The taste was amazing and each bite snapped with freshness. I got a smoothie and sipped it while listening to some funky jazz. I have a crush on Lydia now. I mean if your girl can cook like this she’s marriage material. Quite and eclectic group of people coming in and out who are sooo excited about amazing VEGAN food. Much gratitude Pure Vegan Cafe!!🙏💐❤️

Visiting Raleigh for the weekend and decided to stop here for breakfast. This place has a large variety of vegan options which seems to be hard to find in North Carolina. I loved the options of vegan ‘comfort food’. Ms. Tina who was assisting us was really friendly and helped us choose what to get. Our food turned out amazing!! I had the Golden Latte, the breakfast burger, Brussel sprouts, and mac & cheese. The breakfast burger was AMAZING, the taste of bacon and egg complimented the burger. The mac & cheese was delicious and the golden latte was refreshing. The Brussel sprouts were alittle too sweet, I would definitely recommend adding more spice like red pepper flakes, chili powder or more Sriracha to balance the sweetness. I currently live in Charlotte, please bring Pure Vegan Cafe to the QUEEN CITY!!

The chicken and waffles are unbelievable. If you’re looking for crispy, good vegan chicken that you’ll bite into and say there’s no way it’s vegan, this is the place to go! The waffles were milky, fluffy, and crispy around the edges, beautifully displayed, the side of sweet potato fries were perfect too! The service was very good, all smiles and they had no problem helping out! Very good, genuine people. Lovely atmosphere, I recommend supporting this business not only because of the wonderful food but because of the good thoughtful people too!

As someone with Celiac disease and also avoids dairy, I was so excited to try this! We had the South of the Border Burger and the Chipotle Bowl! Lots of flavor with both! Can’t wait to come back and try the waffles!!!

Just found this by chance. Walked into a clean, friendly restaurant with uplifting music. Service was prompt. I told the waiter “You choose, surprise me, bring me the meal that brings me back here.” The food was hot, fresh and the flavors were magnificent. This is the best food I have eaten since moving to North Carolina. The Roasted Brussel Sprouts were slightly sweet with a nice hint of blacken. Portions are generous. Uttapam is a great Sunday lunch dish. If you don’t come here to dine, then you will have missed a chance at a wonderful experience.

Wonderful vegan food. Best ‘chicken’ sandwich I have had. The breading is so light, but yet crispy. The Java smoothie very good! The customer service was excellent! Highly recommend!

This place is nothing short of amazing. Everything from the quality, to the portion size, to the customer service was great. I spent a total of $55-60 on all of these items, which I think all of these are reasonable priced & worth it. Items: Breakfast Burger: 10/10 Banana toast crunch: 9/10 Chili dog: 10/10 Chikin & waffles: 7/10 Mac&cheese:9/10 Acai pink bowl: 9/10 I cannot wait to go back & try more because wow!

Simply outstanding in every respect. A huge menu with something for everyone ! We discovered it on a business trip Wednesday for dinner and came back for lunch on Thursday. Great vibe, super friendly staff walked us through all the options. Next time we're in Raleigh, we'll be there every day for lunch. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!

Every time I’m in Raleigh I essentially only eat Pure Vegan Cafe. We always order so much food and they are always super cool about it. Everything is amazing and very affordable. If you haven’t been here you need to check it out. Definitely the best vegan restaurant I’ve been to.

The food is delicious!! And the serving sizes are big. I got chili cheese fries and they are so good. I will have to take them home because im so full. The smoothie is great and so is the warm tea. We will come back here as often as we can. I wish there was one in garner.

Before coming to a training in Cary North Carolina. I did a Google search for vegan restaurants. I found this place on the happy cow site. It was on the way to the hotel so I figured I would just stop by. The first night I had a really awesome salad and decided it was worth coming back the next day to try out something else on the menu. I tried the backyard burger. It was amazing! It was so good. I decided I would come back for a third night. I was going to get something else on the menu but the backyard burger was so good that I ordered it for a second night and I got the chili, hot dog. But the backyard burger is a culinary delight. If you are ever in the area you have to try PURE VEGAN CAFE!

The staff is diverse. The music and decorations created a great relaxed vibe. I ordered the chik'n sandwich🤯 absolutely delicious! The English muffin was soft and the chick'n was perfectly crispy and delicious. You couldn't tell me it wasn't meat! As a newbie to this lifestyle, this was an amazing and a pleasant surprise.

I ate here this morning and got the chicken salad and reset smoothie. This was one of the best salads I’ve ever had as you can see I was already starting to eat it before thinking to take a picture. Not sure what the dressing was made of, but it was sooo yummy. The smoothie was super fresh and a great boost for the morning. If it wasn’t so early, I would’ve tried other menu items, but I’ll definitely have to come back very soon!! Highly recommend for everyone, not just vegetarian/vegans! :)

Everything I’ve tried so far is delicious and made to order with care at this cozy Mom&Pop cafe and juicery. The purely plant based breakfast sandwich tastes so real with fluffy “eggs”, Cheeze that melts, soft bread and “sausage” that kept me full. The waffles are crispy and light. The Avocado toast with micro greens is perfect for sharing as a side or as a meal. I can’t wait to come back to try more items!

Tried this place out for my birthday. Tried the avocado toast, green juice and purple bowl. The toast is super spicy. I loved it but was surprised. Take note if you don't like heat. Purple bowl was really good. Not too sweet. Very balanced. Wheatgrass was a little weak But overall fabulous. We will be back.

We love Pure Vegan Cafe, the food is amazing and the service is outstanding. Every time we visit Raleigh, we definitely have to go by Pure Vegan Cafe. We highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our visit here! The staff were really nice. They had great food options including gluten free. We enjoyed burgers, chicken sandwiches, waffles, the chipotle bowl, and fries. All very good. Something we also liked was they had local artists artwork on the walls, and the proceeds purchasing them go to a local animal sanctuary! So we took one home! Another thing worth noting is they're open every day, as it seemed all the other vegan places in town were closed Monday or had random hours. So you can count on them to always have vegan food for you, any day of the week.

Absolutely delicious. The pictures of the food don't do the taste justice. We got the Chick'n Bacon Ranch and Breakfast burger with Buffalo fries. All were fresh and super tasty.

Wanted a vegan option and tried this spot. Had the Chikn and Waffles for brunch. Fabulous!! The cold pressed juices were top notch. Top quality spot, nice and courteous folks. Couple of spots to sit outside in this strip mall area. Try it, we’ll definitely be back.

The service was outstanding and the food was equally as good. The flavor is out of this world and unique. I’ve been looking for a tasty vegan spot with unique flavors and this is it!

Came here for a light breakfast with my cousin! So happy to see an Indian-owned vegan cafe in Raleigh! I just got the avocado toast but I would definitely be excited to come back and try some of the Indian food here. My cousin got the masala chai and it was great!! Also she had one of their vegan breakfast sandwiches and I tried it and liked it!! I can tell that their English muffins are made in restaurant which made me really happy!

Okay service. Bland food. I was recommended this place by a local. I was excited to try their food after seeing the reviews. I first asked if they had any alkaline options, but they didn’t know what that was. So, I ordered their house made Tikki burger on a lettuce wrap and the Brussels sprouts with chili sauce. The employee asked if I wanted a drink. I said I’m okay! Then asked if I wanted a smoothie. I said no. Then asked if I wanted a juice. I said no. I ordered takeout and somehow the couple that came in and ordered 10 minutes after I came in received their order before me. I locked eyes with the employee and he didn’t say anything, but then came back out with my food. I said thank you and left. I tried the Brussels sprouts and the chili sauce was tasty, but it was only on a few. The rest were pretty bland and a little charred. The burger was okay. It has a nice kick to it, but lacked a layer of flavor. Overall, it seemed like a decent place, but I probably won’t go back.

PURE VEGAN CAFE. First things first, I’m a meat eater. This place has only vegan options. My wife is a vegetarian, we comprise often on places to eat when we our out of town on work trips. I have often tried bean burger & fake meat burgers as well as other plant based options, this was my first experience with the amount of options this cafe offers. I decided to try the PVC burger because I do some plumbing work and thought the name was funny. This burger was a blend of many veggies, unlike anything I’ve had before. Juicy & tasty, I also had Buffalo ranch fries bringing my total to $17. Pricey for my lunch meal, worth it. I’m a pretty picky eater, I only eat select veggies and that only depends on how they are cooked. If your significant others been persuading you to try this place, I promise there’s something you’ll enjoy! Cheap if you consider how expensive it is to make vegan food FAST. Making it so dang tasty deserves 5 STARS

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious! Their Cilantro Dressing is beyond!💚✨️🪬 Staff super friendly & helpful. Asking in what pairs nicely together with their dressing options, the team member didn't seem to know so well. Thankfully I know my tastes🙏🏽🥰🌱🙌🏾 Will most definitely be stopping in again!

First time visitor to Pure Vegan Cafe. Very relaxing spot to grab a bite. I got the breakfast burger, it was a little messy, but there are napkins! Also got some coffee with miilk and agave, perfect! I took a piece of cake to go. I wanted to try more but I would not be able to finish it before leaving town! I'll be back with friends to try more stuff. Thanks!

Went there today to meet an old friend who was in town for the holidays. It was a bit of a drive for me, but I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time. Well it was worth the wait! I wanted to try so many things, but settled on the kebab wrap made with impossible meat, and the Buffalo ranch fries, along with sone golden tea. Too much food ( I brought it home!), but so delicious! The kebab tasted authentically spiced, and the fries were crisp, not soggy or greasy like most places. Service was friendly. They cook things fresh, so there is a little bit of a wait. We were the first customers for lunch, but by the time we left the place was packed. Wish we had a place like this closer to my house!

I am a new vegan. Today I wanted a burger and fries. I hopped on Google and found this restaurant. It’s 20 minutes from my house but since I have an hour for lunch I could make it happen. I ordered the Rainbow burger add cheese, minus chili sauce and pickle, fries (potato) and lavender lemonade. The burger was GREAT!! I added ketchup, mustard & mayo at home. They give you a bag of fries!! They are seasoned (yay) I ate some on the way home, glad I did. By the time I got set up to eat the remainder were cold and hard. Next time I’ll eat in and order the fries. Now the lavender lemonade was not what I expected so I probably won’t order that again.

My favorite restaurant in the Triangle. I live in Durham but work in Raleigh, so I go to both of their locations. Over the past year I've spent more money here than I care to admit. Their vegan/vegetarian options are DELICIOUS -- my favorite in town. The thing I miss most as a vegetarian is Bojangles' Cajun Filet Biscuit. The closest that I've come to it is Pure Vegan's Chick'n Delight sandwich -- the way that they cook their "chik'n" is incredible. I also love their Chick'n & Waffles, Chipotle Chik'n sandwich, the breakfast burger, their Samosas, the Chia Pudding, and their smoothies. Oh -- and their vegan Honee Mustard. Forewarning -- their honee mustard is different from what i was used to. It's sweeter, almost like icing. I love it with the sweet potato fries ❤️ I feel great eating here. Most of the time I'll order through uber eats, but their facilities are modern and clean, and the people that work there are all very friendly, including the owner. The food is filling and the servings are a decent size. I usually can't finish a sandwich + fries. Everything is priced a la cart, by the way, so fries come separately.

Pretty decent vegan food. I’ve gotten the vegan burger and chicken sandwich. Both were pretty decent. I love the fries. The freshly squeezed juices are amazing. They also have great vegan sauces (BBQ & Honey Mustard). The staff is excellent. Super nice and friendly.

The best food ever! Delicious vegan menu with tons of options. The Chipotle bowl was fantastic, very flavorful. Service is so fast and very kind staff. We will be back!💕🌱🌱💪

I’m not familiar with the area so I just googled vegan food near me. So happy I found Pure Vegan! I tried two of their newest menu items, the berry french toast & the sambar idily, both were AMAZING. The spices in the soup weren’t overpowering, but it was spicy, and that lentil/rice bread cake? Amazing. The strawberries and blueberries on my French toast were fresh, and I really like how finely they diced the strawberries. Some places will just slice a strawberry down the middle and call it a day, but these were handled with care. The consistency of the smoothie was good, it wasn’t too thick or watery either. I can’t wait to go back and try the samosas.
