Service: Catherine at the front desk was both extremely nice but also efficient in providing customer service. She is a great asset to your team! She was friendly and cheerful, which made me feel at home after a long travel journey. The second night of my stay, I asked to be moved rooms due to a noisy neighbor but the front-desk agent refused saying that I had to have asked during the morning. I didn't hear any neighbors the days afterwards but would've had a rough stay had the noisy neighbor continued. Room: I stayed in a Studio, 1 King, Sofa bed room, which was clean, looked new (no smudges on surfaces or threadbare carpets) and well-appointed. The bed was firm with a plush duvet. The bathroom fixtures were solid. The first night, I could hear my neighbor was snoring loudly, which indicates thin soundproofing. I didn't hear any neighbors the days afterwards. Location: The hotel is away from Downtown and off the freeway so not close to much. The pros are the hotel is pretty quiet (no sirens / loud cars) but a further drive to restaurants, events, etc. Value: I reserved my room for $235.75/night over four nights. While the service was great and room was new, it felt a bit on the pricy side to pay $235+ for an extended-stay hotel.

I am a Titanium Elite member and I booked 2 rooms using points. I booked both rooms with 2 queen beds each. I called the hotel 1 day before and asked if possible to exchange 1 room to a king bed room. They said there were not any king rooms available, but would put my request in with the front desk. I was informed to ask the front desk when checking it to see if a king room had become available. After finishing the phone call, I then used the app to simulate the booking of another room. It showed king beds readily available. Upon arriving at the hotel, I asked the front desk about my king bed request. I was informed it was not possible to get a King bed with a reward certificate. The reward certificate is restricted to a room with 2 queen beds only. It was not possible to exchange because the policy was strict. There were king rooms available, but the front desk clerk said I would have to pay a cash difference. I am a 13 year Titanium Elite member and I expected better service than this. Also, you can hear persons on the floor above walking and flushing quite well.

My teenage son and I stayed here for two weeks. We travelled to Raleigh from Ontario, Canada so my son could have surgery not available to him at home. We chose this hotel because we needed to be able to cook and have good fridge space because my son would not be in any condition to go out to eat after surgery. The location and accommodations were perfect for our needs. What really stood out was the support and caring we received from the staff. I would like to thank Harvey and Carson for their friendly support and their kindness to my son and I during our stay.

For a low cost Marriott I didn’t expect much. This hotel is GREAT. Modern, updated decor. Simple but excellent. Rooms are spacious and include full kitchen !!!!! Workout room is nice. Free breakfast too. No swimming pool but all other features are great. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at this location twice. Overall nice, and new, hotel. Conveniently located. BUT it’s extremely loud. Maybe it’s just bad luck, but both times I was located right over the main entrance; noisy social area out front. I’d have to listen to rowdy corn hole games pretty late on some nights. And what can only be described as elephants jumping off furniture in adjoining rooms. Also, pretty close to a fire station, so sirens aren’t uncommon. For long term stays, bedding does not get changed out regularly. Great gym!

Stayed here for two nights. Rooms are comfortable, although the HVAC can be a bit loud. Staff is friendly, breakfast is decent, it's pet-friendly, and there is free EV charging. Will definitely stay there again when visiting the Raleigh area.

Started off with great service at the front desk with Danielle, she was very helpful with getting us settled. The rooms were big and clean, and the small kitchen gave us the opportunity to cook our own meals which I enjoyed. Bathrooms and showers were very nice too. Probably the best Marriott experience i've had!

The room was 100% for me. Clean and beautiful room with stove, cooking utensils, microwave and refrigerator. It was a very convenient stay. There is ample parking at the hotel. Breakfast is complimentary though with limited options.

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars because the hotel and most of the staff are very nice and a positive experience. The 4 star rating is due to how just downright unpleasant the GSR Harvey is to deal with. I’ve stayed here a few times and every time I have had to interact with the GSR I’ve left the situation feeling like an inconvenience. Overall it’s a good stay, one of the better I’d even say. Nice suites, good breakfast and market items. I do recommend but… Harvey.. my man, get right. We’re here for ya.

New property is a plus. I requested a handicap room online. They didn't have one reserved for me. Strike one, bed was extremely firm, strike two, price was expensive but didn't have the handicap. Not quite a strike 3 but could have been better. I went to breakfast b/c food was all prepackaged stuff.

It's super close to downtown, even in Rush hour on a Monday. The room was very nice, and they kept something I left behind and sent it to me! Would stay here again

Room was clean. Breakfast was GREAT. I've seen a great many "free Breakfasts" but this one was really good 👍.

Very close to the amenities you would need (shopping, gas stations, restaurants, etc.). The rooms were very clean with updated furniture (as of July 2023). The speed bumps are awkward since they are angled, but overall the parking is okay. I did not have much interaction with staff, but I will say that the breakfast area was well stoked and clean. I would stay here again!

Bonvoy member here who stays at Marriott locations whenever I travel but, after their lack of customer service, I doubt that I will again. Be sure to carefully review your cancellation policy at this hotel. Recently, I cancelled my business travel reservation at this location within 24 hours (which is standard for most) but was still charged a full night's stay on my credit card. Once I saw the charges, I quickly contacted Bonvoy and the representative was nice and apologetic. She said that the charges shouldn't have been charged. She set up a case number and said they would review and get back to me. After a week or so, after no response from Bonvoy, I reached back out to them and they said the hotel refused the reimbursement because I had not cancelled within 48 hours. (I am not sure why it was 48 hours for this reservation) Frustrated, I reached out to the location directly and was unable to get the GM on the phone. I left a message, which was unreturned. I could not be more surprised and disappointed at the lack of professionalism and the lack of typical Marriott customer service. I never place reviews online but I want to deter others from having the same experience with this hotel. My only recourse is to NEVER make a reservation at this hotel again.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations! Clean and up-to-date rooms, hospitable staff, convenient location, excellent breakfast, great food at the bar as well as the bartender... Better than some of the more expensive hotels we've visited.

Very nice well appointed room. Extremely clean. My only complaint is something that cannot be changed. This is relatively new construction and the walls are quite thin. I'm thankful that there were no parties and that our neighbors were quiet people. We could hear them speaking through the walls.

Had to use this hotel entrance with a shared drive every day for two weeks (shared with the Holiday Inn). The speed bumps on the shared road are really bad and one needs to almost stop prior to going over them. They are needed as this hotel entrance sits right on the drive and not back. Being that this is a new hotel I think the designers should have thought this aspect through a little bit more. Can't rate the hotel but the driveway side has nice looking outdoor amenities (fire pits and grills)

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights over the Christmas Holidays. The stay was amazing as the facilities were A1 and the staff was even better. Each staff member that we encountered was super friendly and accommodating. Specifically Tyrrell and the General Manager Milton were very helpful in assisting me in resolving an issue upon check in. They both went above and beyond in assisting me. My family stayed in a 2 bed efficiency and it was more than spacious. Full size refrigerator, a stove with 2 burners, dishwasher and plenty storage space. A full breakfast was available if you so desired. Sausage, Canadian Bacon, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal was all available on the bar. Full sized gym with modern updated equipment. Also there is a very nice fire pit to warm up to in the chill of the night. Again my stay was amazing and I will most assuredly stay here when in the Raleigh area. Job well done!!!

New and nice. Bed very firm, pillows too soft, good hot shower, equipt with hair/body products, hair dryer, etc. USB ports everywhere. Breakfast is a lot packaged food. Overall value: good. I paid $175 and think it should've been more like $125. That's my opinion.

Super impressed with this hotel. I came for work as it was close to the interstate not sure what to expect. It exceeded my expectations. The gym is amazing! All brand new equipment. The breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about but everything is wonderful. My room was huge for a hotel room and felt like a one bedroom apartment. Definitely will be back.

Clean. Full mini kitchen with fridge and freezer with icemaker. Two-burner glass range top. Mini dishwasher, garbage disposal, dishes and cookware. Terrific value.

Start to finish, best hotel stay I've had. I literally did NOT want to leave! My parents and I both had rooms there for Christmas. I was super excited about it being a new property and it did not disappoint. Carter at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful; when I called ahead to ensure my parents got a handicap accessible room, she took care of that for me; when we arrived to check in, she was the check in agent and remembered me from our phone call. She is a keeper! I work for Marriott and was staying on the employee rate, at other properties I've stayed at the staff doesn't necessarily go out of their way to be helpful when they know you are staying on a super discounted rate. That was not the case here. The next morning, the manager on duty (I believe his name was Tyrrell) was also super friendly...I did not have breakfast downstairs but my parents did and were raving about how nice he was. Speaking of the breakfast, they had a sign up stating that due to the holiday, the offerings were limited. If that was what they call "limited" I would love to know what the regular breakfast is, because it looked like a full hot/cold buffet to me (cereal, oatmeal with every topping imaginable, waffles, toast, bagels, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc). Lastly, the rooms are FABULOUS, spacious, and well appointed. My mom was thrilled with the closet space, and the full kitchen area was perfect. Everything is brand new and spotless. My family and I already discussed our Easter trip to Raleigh and this will be the hotel we stay at from now on. We are on opposite sides of the state and Raleigh is where we meet in the middle for holidays. The hotel was also a quick 20 minute trip to my brother's house in Fuquay-Varina, super convenient. Thank you for having us and making it such a memorable stay!

The service from check in to check out was great. The room was huge and the decor was modern and contemporary! Love the cleanliness of the room. Bed was so comfy. And the bathroom was impeccable and surprisingly quite large and had a feeling of a bit of luxury and a discount. Great job TownePlace Suites!! Plan to stay there on our trip back in a month and have this one in my saved locations for sure!

I did not stay personally at this hotel; however, I just wanted to point out that John B and the staff at TownePlace Suites do a fantastic job of taking care of all customers. I stayed at the hotel next door, which didn't have food, and then walked over here to order a salad. Great meal for a good price, and again, John was a really great server/bartender. I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to do so because the service was so excellent!

We were greeted by friendly staff at the front desk. Genuinely interested in our travels. Then we were surprised by a clean, bright, room with natural light. This is the most updated town place suites I've stayed at. Very clean from the lobby to the gym to the rooms. Breakfast was well stocked with typical town place breakfast items. There's a bar and restaurant available as well. They are pet friendly and have space and trees out back to walk your dog. We drove a little out of our way to stay here, and we're glad we did. We'd come back again for sure.
