👍👍 Took my grandmother out to lunch. Bistro was quiet for lunch. Everything was very good. We shared a duck appetizer. Grandma got a excellent burger and I tried a octopus dish. Dessert was heaven. Server was nice and took his time with grandma. People often mention service, great, Bistro, drinks, Northside, night,

Popped in for a nice dinner and was blown away by not only the food, but the drinks and amazing service as well. We shared several appetizers - the stuffed mushrooms, meatballs and onion soup and every single one of them was a 10/10 - not a single bite left! For the main course we shared the gnocchi and beef tenderloin, another 10/10. From the bar, I highly recommend the old fashioned. The atmosphere was modern, inviting and comfortable without being stuffy at all. We will be back soon to try the Beef Wellington, if we don’t break down and get the gnocchi again!

I've had the pleasure of dining at Northside Bistro several times as well as attending a wine pairing dinner. Everything I’ve eaten has exceeded my expectations - in quality, quantity and presentation. Chef John is meticulous and clearly cooks from the heart. His creations are very unique. The staff is well trained and attentive. The prices are on point with each menu item. I highly recommend this bistro both for lunch and dinner.

Incredible culinary experience, start to finish. The food is unique and fresh, the craft cocktails are simple yet deliciously creative, and the overall vibe and hospitality is beyond comparison.

Top tier restaurant that serves exceptional fine dining. We started out with the Octopus Bravas which was perfectly charred. Then our main entrees: The Short Ribs served with truffled duchesse potatoes, Hashtag Tuna Sashimi grade brushed with teriyaki and ginger glaze, Beef Wellington cooked to perfection, Cedar Plank Salmon with butternut squash, and a delectable Potato Gnocchi and Beef Tenderloin dish. Yes! We tried to eat the entire restaurant! Our waitress, Clea was great! Northside Bistro definitely impresses!

Faith in the Raleigh area food scene restored with one visit to this Northside casual, upscale eatery. Wow. From the drinks, to the main courses, to the desserts and finally the epic service was nothing short of a memorable evening. The alcohol forward (but not overwhelming} drinks just open the door to an exciting and unique wine list, which then leads to awesome starters like the mussels and duck wings. The restaurant signature short rib was epic, as was there duck and the sea bass special. What really hit home though was the fine dining-level service we received throughout the night, which really left a lasting impression. The cost is up there though so be prepared, but if you're used to the this level of quality in a dining experience you'll soon realize it was all well worth it.

I tried the Bistro burger for lunch. Not only was it huge it was one of the best tasting burgers I've had. It had a nice crust on the outside but juicy on the inside. Great flavor!

Fun, vibrant restaurant! The duck wings appetizer was delicious. And I enjoyed the "hashtag tuna" entree. The tuna was perfect and the roasted broccoli was good along with it. For dessert, can't go wrong with the Million Dollar Cake. Note: parking a car here is tricky at the moment with some construction going on. Arrive early!

My husband and I went to Northside Bistro for the first time last night and all we can say is WOW. We’re so glad we discovered this place and will absolutely be going back. The atmosphere, food and drinks were incredible. The hardest part is picking what you want because the entire menu is incredible. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching all of the activity. Highly recommend the mango martini, espresso martini or the thyme cocktail. We also got the beef tartare, Brussel sprouts and Brie and the orange risotto shrimp and scallops. All of which we’re delicious.

Went on a Friday night for our anniversary. Wonderful food, lively atmosphere. I had the Hashtag tuna and my husband ordered Beef wellington, both were delicious. He loved the French onion soup as well. Definitely will be back!

Gnocchi is top notch, got a steak and some apps too. Everything was great. Our server Thomas was excellent as well. Came back a couple times, the beef Wellington is one of a kind. If you haven't had it here you haven't had it.

Had a great date night at Northside Bistro. The service was on point and love the attention to detail. The atmosphere is modern but warm. The drinks were perfect! We enjoyed the meatballs as an app, they were tender and delicious!!! Our meals were tasty and creative! We liked that the owner and chef came out and chatted with guests to see ID they’re enjoying their meals! Nice touch! The desserts were YUMMY!!! Had a great meal- great for date night, family outings, or just a dinner with friends. I recommend this restaurant.

I had no idea how delicious the Northside Bistro would be. We loved the Octopus appetizer. For dinner two of us got the gnocchi and two got the salmon. Extraordinary. We had to try all Of the desserts and were quite happy. Add the excellent bartending and it was a perfect experience.

Modern fine dining that's true to the spirit of a bistro. The chef is adept with French and Italian foods and the very unique menu reflects that. Lots of exotic choices for food and for drinks as well. I had an excellent blueberry mule with the potato gnocchi and beef tenderloin, which while more simple in some ways, was perfectly cooked, savory, consistent, and for someone who's not a big fan of mushrooms, they added a great dimension to the dish. A solid choice for anytime but especially colder weather. The service was excellent and the ambiance was warm, classy, and understated. Great for a special occasion or a dressed-up date night. The only issue during peak hours may be parking, so be aware the lot is somewhat small.

Another 5 star review to add to the pile! We had Clea and she was such a dear! She was SO attentive and has a great personality! The food was also killer. The kitchen didn’t miss a beat. Everything was more than spot on. I can’t wait to come back.

Attended private event today and all the food was outstanding! Steak Tartar, White Asparagus Risotto, Cannard Au Poivre, and I think the best dessert I have ever eaten in my life was the Lemon and Blueberry Brûlée (absolutely incredible). This has become a favorite in the Triangle. Excellent food and service. Only captured two photos as the food smelled so divine I dived in before remembering to take a photo!
