Bawri/Stepwells are examples of the many types of storage and irrigation tanks, that were developed in India, mainly to cope with seasonal fluctuations in water availability. A basic difference between stepwells on the one hand, and tanks and wells on the other, is that stepwells make it easier for people to reach the groundwater and to maintain and manage the well. Number of such Bawris are found in Rajasthan. The Parcha Bawri, in Ramdeora is one among them.

Good place for people having religious beliefs. It's considered to be hundreds of years old. According to a local anecdote, "Baba Ramdev ne khud bhaale se dig krke paatal se paani nikala tha". ("Baba Ramdev digged this baori by his spear himself and took out the water from abysm".) This place looks even quite haunted, as I'm scared with such vibes. You can't use the baori water directly, as nets are covered all around it. Priests are good! It's hygiene too. This baori is nearby the main Ramdev temple. You can have some cinematic shots too here!

Currently due to ignorance of authorities this major Place at Ramdevra missing it's importance and losing attractions. It is told in Puranic stories that once Bawa Ramdevji had organized a court. In which it was resolved to uproot the high, low and untouchable by planting the flag of religion. In the same court, Seth Bohitaraj was singing the praises of the Lord. Then Ramdev ji called Seth to him and said, O Seth, go to the state and bring Maya money. Bohitaraj started getting scared after hearing the words of the Lord, then Lord Ramdev said, O devotee, whenever you are in trouble, I will help you in every trouble. Then Seth left from Runicha and reached the state and earned a lot of money by the grace of the Lord. In a year, Seth became a big jeweler of Hero. After some time Seth remembered his children and started preparing to come to his village Runicha. Sethji thought that if I go to Runicha, then Ramdevji will ask what to bring for me from the state, then Sethji bought a diamond necklace for the Lord and ordered the servants to fill all the diamond and emerald jewelry in the boat, I will go to my country and Sethji Left with the goods. Seth ji thought that this necklace is very precious, what will Lord Ramdev do with this necklace, greed came in his mind and started thinking that Runicha is a small village, what will I do by living there, I will live in a big city and build a big palace. . Meanwhile, a strong storm started coming in the sea, the boatman said, Seth ji, the storm is very fierce, the curtain of the boat has also been torn. Now the boat cannot sail, the boat will definitely sink. Of what use is this illusion of yours, both of us will die. Seth Bohitaraj also lost patience. Started remembering many gods and goddesses but all in vain, no god helped him, then Sethji remembered the words of Shri Ramdev ji and Seth started calling the Lord with a compassionate voice. O God, I have committed any mistake, please forgive me. In this way Sethji was calling Lord Shri Ramdev ji in the river. On the other side Lord Shri Ramdev ji was sitting in Runicha with his brother Viramdev ji and he heard the call of Bohitaraj. Lord Ramdev ji spread his arm and took the boat of Bohitaraj Seth which was sinking to the shore. This work was done so quickly that even brother Veeramdev, who was sitting nearby, was not even allowed to know. Ramdev ji's hands were wet with sea water. Bohitaraj Seth wondered how the boat suddenly hit the shore. There was no limit to Seth's happiness after being saved from such a fierce storm. The sailor also started thinking that how the boat got out of the storm so quickly, all this happened by the grace of some deity. Seth Bohitaraj said that the one who is protected by Lord Shri Ramdev, no one can turn his hair. Then the boatmen also considered Shri Ramdev ji as their favorite god. After reaching the village, Seth told the whole thing to the villagers. Seth went to the court and met Shri Ramdev ji and said that I had forgotten you after seeing Maya, greed had entered my mind. Forgive me and order where I should spend this maya. Then Shri Ramdev ji said that you get a stepwell dug in Runicha and the water of that stepwell will be sweet and people will call it by the name of Paracha stepwell and its water will be as pure as the Ganges. In this way, this parcha stepwell remains in Ramdevra (Runicha) even today.
