We
stayed
at
Hotel
Harish
for
3
nights
during
our
Rameshwaram
visit
in
Feb
2023.
1.
We
were
a
group
of
20
and
when
making
the
reservation,
the
hotel
staff
was
able
to
confirm
availability
of
5
rooms
-
2
rooms
(included
2
queen
sized
beds
+
1
extra
bed)
with
an
occupancy
of
5,
1
room
with
an
occupancy
of
4
and
2
rooms
with
an
occupancy
of
3.
2.
Rooms:
a.
The
rooms
were
clean
but
a
bit
dated,
had
extra
blankets
and
towels,
bathrooms
had
hot
water
starting
3AM.
b.
The
beds
had
mattresses
that
were
not
the
fluffy
type
but
a
bit
on
the
firmer
side,
which
was
welcomed
by
the
elderly
in
our
group.
3.
Hotel
staff:
a.
On
our
date
of
check-in,
the
hotel
staff
kept
checking
with
us
about
our
arrival
time
as
we
were
traveling
from
Kerala.
We
reached
at
around
11:30PM
and
the
check-in
was
relatively
smooth.
b.
The
staff
in
general
were
very
courteous
and
helpful.
On
request,
they
provided
us
with
hot
water
to
drink.
c.
Shared
valuable
insights
about
temple
darshan
timings,
especially
Mani
darshan.
4.
Parking:
The
hotel
has
ample
parking
available
where
we
got
to
park
our
22
seater
mini
bus.
It
is
an
open
parking
just
by
the
hotel.
The
main
challenge
is
that
we
were
not
able
to
take
our
vehicle
out
during
the
day
as
the
street
in
front
of
the
hotel
is
narrow
and
gets
congested
during
the
day
because
of
pedestrians,
two
wheelers,
rickshaws
and
cars.
We
had
to
take
our
vehicle
out
the
night
before
check-out
and
park
it
at
the
bus
stand
(5
minute
walk
from
the
hotel)
and
go
to
the
bus
in
rickshaws
the
next
day
after
check
out.
This
trouble
can
be
avoided
If
you
are
driving
a
car
/
SUV.
5.
WiFi
-
This
is
something
they
can
improve
on.
None
of
the
rooms
had
WiFi.
The
reception
has
but
didn't
get
a
chance
to
test
it
out.
6.
Proximity:
I
would
consider
this
as
the
biggest
plus
point
of
this
hotel.
The
main
(eastern)
entrance
of
the
Rameshwaram
temple
is
about
a
10
minute
walk
from
the
hotel
and
on
your
walk
to
the
temple
you
will
see
quite
a
few
vegetarian
restaurants
and
a
couple
of
ATMs.
