Attracted by the 4.5 rating, I was excited to visit this store. I regretted not looking at the negative reviews before losing my time here. Do yourself a favour and check them first. You'll see a review mentioning they are xenophobic. I can surely confirm that. Another mentioning hostile clerks. It matches my experience. You'll see such reviews over and over. They sure don't need your money, just buy online, this was you save fuel and avoid being frustrated for going to such a pretentious place with poor customer service in exchange for overpriced goods.

I don't know if they care about costumer service at all or if they simply try not to address foreign costumers, but in the two times I have come here I never felt welcomed. I wouldn't recommend to buy anything here, or even bother visiting, specially if you're an expat / immigrant or a tourist.

Probably the biggest and definitely the best photography shop I've ever visited. In my country they simply went extinct (there is not a single dedicated digital photography shop in the entire capital, or maybe they went into hiding). This shop had a ton of gear - cameras from every manufacturer, lots of glass, accessories and even gift items. I finally had a chance to hold Sony A7 model in my hands... Just to see I will never buy it because of size/weight considerations, will either keep my a6000 or go micro 4/3. Don't be fooled by the small room on the entrance floor and go straight towards the elevator! The second floor holds all the cool stuff. And they have dedicated sales managers for different brands to help you with your questions. I highly recommend this shop at least to be able to try a camera before purchase. Cannot really comment on prices as I didn't purchase anything and didn't compare prices, but at a glance prices were decent. Shop's location is also convenient and it has relatively long working hours.

I have had my films developed here and I am very pleased with their service. The staff in charge is always so nice and patient with me and my broken German knowledge. I can definitely recommend!

After following all the confirmation steps, including sending a photo of my ID for an online reservation, I received a confirmation email with a reservation code. I was surprised to find out that my account wasn't confirmed, and I couldn't get my order. Unfortunately, this happened on a Saturday evening, so I had to wait until Monday. However, I needed my order for Sunday, so I couldn't complete the work I had planned. Honestly, the service at the store was excellent because there was a guy who tried everything to find a solution. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough.

I always go here if I need new gear or something is wrong with my camera. The employees are very forthcoming, friendly and educated on anything having to do with cameras. Just the prices are a bit high sometimes as it is not an online store, however, you can do a bit of bargaining ;)

Great service (DE & EN), wide range of options of big brands, and convenient for pick-up items you ordered online. They offer honest price for your 2nd hand equipments too.

It's still and simply an institution in Hamburg City Centrum for all photographers. Special offers, 2nd Hand Cameras and lenses...good service and low prices for an offline store.

Very bad service, I gave them to clean the camera sensor, it was some dust there, they didn't do anything and spoiled the sensor, now I have more problem with my camera than before. Hate them and don't advice anyone to visit this store. I paid 40 euros for destroying my camera. Hate them!

I ordered an article online 3 weeks ago. A few days later I wrote an e-mail for some information about the delivery date. Another few days later I tried to call them. After the phone call, they promised me to get back in touch with me. I never got any mail or information back and they never delivered the product. Pretty untrustworthy shop at all. If want to buy something there, make sure to use a payment method where you can get your money back easily.
