A group of us visited Chuparosa on a Sunday afternoon and we had a great time. It has a small outdoor patio that has one large table for 6 and about three small tables for 2-4. There's more seating inside too. There's a beautiful view of their vineyard and Olive trees. Wine tasting was very affordable at $10 to taste all their wines. The owner Andy came right outside when we arrived to welcome us. If you buy a bottle of wine, the $10 goes towards the cost. Most of us left with at least one bottle of wine that day as their wines were really good! I like their Albarino, Sangiovese and their zinxzin port. No food but you can bring your own.

Andy and Carolyn are such great hosts. Their wines are all delicious. Difficult to say which is our favorite.

Outstanding! There are a lot of wineries in Ramona, and usually I'll find one or two good offerings at each with the rest being drinkable. Everything Chuparosa does is good, even those wines I don't care for I can appreciate being true to from. Andy has an attention to detail that shines through everything he creates.

Small local vineyard surrounded by ranches. Beautiful scenery and a lovely outdoor deck with tables and umbrellas. There is an indoor area as well. The wine was very good and served by the owners lending to a much more personal experience. We went in November so the plants had already gone by for the season. Still a beautiful vineyard all the same. I will also mention the tasting and the bottles of wine we bought afterwards were well priced as well.

I visited Chuparosa vineyards for the first time after seeing the excellent, and know I know now , well-deserved internet reviews. Honestly, I didn't know there was any place in San Diego County that made such great wine. I asked the owner, manager, field-worker , and winemaker Eddie wny he makes wine and he said, "becuase I like wine." The wines are dry (no residual sugar). Again, I asked why, "he answered becuase I like it that way." How freshing it is to fine someone who follows his heart and passion! As one patron said, "the hard part here is not to find a good wine, but to find a wine that isn't good." All tasted wines were five stars and the price is reasonable. I will be back. Buy the Malbec (if there is any left.) Salud to you and your passion, Eddie !

Great wines and a wonderful education! The vintner is delightful and has a wealth of knowledge about the industry and his wines.

Amazing little winery. Andy and his wife are great people. They know how to make wine!!! We have been to wineries all over San Diego and Temecula Valley and his is the only one we will go to besides the one we hold a membership with. Tiny little place with a cozy fire and great atmosphere. I recommend that everyone stop by and have a glass. You will definitely be hooked.

Carolyn and her staff were so amazing, we started at this lovely vineyard. Every wine that was poured was amazing. The value was exceptional, we left with two bottles of wine and a bottle of their delicious olive oil. Carolyn had fresh warm sourdough bread to enjoy with their olive oil. It was complimentary with the tasting, and being able to enjoy this with our wine really sets this place apart from our other experiences here wine tasting in Ramona. My fiancée and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here, thank you Carolyn!!!!! For those that love red wines, we fell in love with the Kohill Blend.

Visited the winery a few weeks ago. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I each had a flight ($10 for 10 pours) which was a great deal. We ended up buying two bottles so he comped us the pours. The wines were excellent!

Doing it right in the Ramona Valley AVA. A pioneer with mature vines. A vintner owner with an experienced touch making fantastic single-grape estate wines and a great Tuscan blend. + really good prices that will have you reaching even mid-week for the bottles you bring home. Will be back. Rises to the top of our favorites in Ramona as we continue to explore this up and coming region.

New type of wine tasting for me. Sit down by the fireplace and talk local winemaking with the owner.

This is a must visit winery in Ramona. We were greeted warmly by Carolyn, the owner. She was so enthusiastic and talkative with us. The tasting room is gorgeous and the patio is beautiful with stunning views of the vineyards. Inexpensive tasting and wines with generous pours and lovely commentary by Carolyn. One of the best wine tasting experiences I've ever had. So pleased to walk away with two bottles and I will gladly go back and bring visitors.

Found this out of the way winery because I love Italien varietals. Andy was great to talk with and the wines are so good I ordered a case to be shipped home to Oregon. Definitely worth a stop on your tasting journeys.
