They deserve negative rating. Worst hospital and they only care about money. They do tests which are not required just to add to your bill. Also, they will never show you the reports of the tests done. They will create rare disease which doesn't even exist to scare you. With my experience this hospital should be demolished as as soon as possible to save the children from getting admitted here. Keeping your child at home will be far better than admitting them here.

I would share my plight.My kid got admitted on 12th May.He had minor fever with low bp.The doctor are very unprofessional, instead of uplifting my confidence . They told at my face like it's very difficult to survive condition is very critical and nothing can be said. Then they started the whole scam of taking out money for unnecessary test and everytime we approached doctor seeking for reports .They won't provide and talk very unprofessionally.My baby was admitted for 7-10 days and they charged whopping 4 lacs. The nurse over there are mannerless and ignorant towards there duties. Normally at any hospital if a patient is admitted remaining things of collecting blood sample sending it to lab will b taken care by hospital. But here they will collect the blood and give u the syringe full with blood and ask you to submit in the lab and pay the money. No matter if the patient is dying they will not start the treatment of the payment is not made. Nurse don't do there baisc duty if maintaining the hygiene of patients.i myself need to change the bedsheet ,diaper everything for my kid. It was horrible experience and I would never recommend you to get admitted in this hospital unless you don't have any option. They need to improve a lot in terms of patient management and the way they interact with the them. Nurses shoydo there duty properly . doctor should be little polite . It's a money looting business they are running in the name of trust treating children

If you love your child please do not admit here. For fever they are investigating for HIV and electrolytes reports and it not make any sence. Duty doctors on morning are very unprofessional with zero knowledge. They write only report and discharge card nothing else. Don't have sence to check children for their disease.

As its a child hospital, there is a new way to check jaundice levels in babies known as bilirubion meater ,no blood test is required. It's not expensive. Instead of taking blood from new born, they should test it by this meater. All maternity and child hospital have it. Accuracy is 95.4 %, just so that they get money from test they make small babies cry. Never go there

About 2 days before we take our son in your hospital...it was about 11 pm of 18 December..... After registration into the hospital and taking too much of money (about 1 lakh) ...they examine our child....and told us that he will not survive for more than 2 hrs....means he is alive only for two hours... And stopped his treatment... We lost out hope and taken our child to our home the next day....and waited for his breath to stop... But now also he is breathing and moving his hand and legs ... Now it's 9am of 20/12 .... And now we are taking him to any hospital from our home ....

One of the worst hospital in Ranchi. They are looters. They don't care for children life, never go there. They admitted my nephew who was 1.5 years old and took 1.5 lakh as deposit for emergency and they just kept in icu and did not put much effort. As my little nephew was crying in pain so they gave anesthesia and tied hands, legs and mouth as well so to reduce noise. Such a brutal hospital it is. My nephew was no more with us the next day of admission but they charged titsl 2.5 lakh fir 1 and half day. Never visit this hospital. I will file a complaint.

Rubbish! One of the worst child hospitals in handling critical situations. As they depend on the medical trainees who are inexperienced, Senior doctors should handle the critical cases. I don't know why they hand over the critical cases to trainees & junior doctors!! I have lost my youngest cousin brother, he was just 3.5 Yr old. We are still in shock as the child was suffering from typhoid fever and admitted since 4 days in Rani child hospital. Doctors said he is improving, but on 5th day they said his heart failed. Shocked!! 3.5 Yr old Heart failed. I sum up with the note that you are better judge for your child's life, choose hospital wisely.

Such a pathetic hospital...my niece was admitted here with fever but the condition was getting worse day by day they were just testing and experimenting on the child. Around 6 to 7 lakhs rupees were looted by them and we couldn't do anything bcz they put her on ventilator. After 1month 10days they discharged her in totally unconscious condition. We went to the other doctor then he said, all the tests and reports are useless bcz she was suffering from hydrocephalus (water in the brain). One of the worst hospital in ranchi city..infact I would say in jharkhand state..the hospital does not have any qualified and matured staff..the staff from lower level to higher level interacts rudely to the patients..they care for money only...I had very bad experience with this hospital and I suggest reader to stay away from this hospital...Another situation i faced was that they give health report of your child through medical interns working in the hospital while making you stand in a queue. It seemed as people were convicted and were distributed food in their prison. No heart specialist is there in the hospital. Please don't go to this hospital as their is no ethics in their service.

This is one of the worst hospitals I have came across... Their priority is only money. They will keep your child in ICU which may not be required. I had this experience in May 2014. Doctors are rude and no body bothers to inform you what they are doing with your child..

Personal experience was not at all good. No work ethics, how doctors make your children's condition worse is a painful process. Most cases gets unsuccessful here (bitter truth). Don't know how they manage to be so unsuccessful every time being a child specialist hospital. Doctors are really bad, have heard some cases in the past which no one wants to go through and a personal experience too.

Rani Children Hospital is a household name in Child's Care situated on Bariatu Road near karamtoli chowk this hospital has all the facilities and expertise they have a very efficient neo natal care and have experienced Doctors and Staff they have 24 hours emergency with ambulance service and in house pharmacy their entrance is easily accessable its bit crowded always so expect a queue but thats wat make this hospital unique highly recommended.

Dr Shailesh Chandra & Dr Hamid Akhtar is a boon for the new born baby. They are one of the cute doctor and have a lots of patience. Even over the phone they talk nicely and prescribe the medince if necessary. I personally advised them to start one of their own clinic.
