This hospital is fully type of business.. If you have a insurance of 5-6 lacks they will suck all the amounts within a week. If a patent is in good condition doctors say that this patent is in critical situation. They know that patent is having insurance. Regarding behaviour of hospital staffs reception, guards, are not good. No dought nurse behaviour is good Attender sitting area is not available in the hospital… Worst service…. Don’t admit in this hospital you will realise at the end.

The Hospital is only good for its few doctors, rest management and staff behaviour. Neglected nursing behaviour. False and excess billing and too expensive. False billing of disposable items. Only recommend for one week initial treatment in emergency untill one arrange a bed and place somewhere else for the patient in some good hospital.

Hospital is hygienic and best of amenities and doctors in town. This hospital is crowded you need keep 2-5 hours extra time if you are visiting this place. Lack of parking space is the huge problem of this hospital. Doctors, Medical and Non-Medical staffs are Awesome, except Hospital's TPA department is very rude manier times ended up with heated argument.

My wife was admitted to this hospital, the moment we reached the hospital gate, immediately the nurses came with wheel chair and took her to the emergency ward, then she was diagnosed and admitted for further treatment. She was in room no 412 down with dengue, right from her admit to discharge she was given top class treatment, and top class care. All the nursing staffs, housekeeping staffs ,Doctors and other support staffs were very polite , courteous and we'll mannered, especially the nursing staffs at the 4th floor were exceptional. My wife stayed there for 4 days, and all the 4 days she received the best care and treatment. The food quantity and quality was very good as per patient standards, with good variety. Cleanliness was top notch.Right from the admit till discharge our experience was amazing. I congratulate the management of this hospital for such great leadership and such a good team. I believe with such wonderful team no patient can go uncured. Good job. With my experience at your hospital I can certainly give you the tag of," The best private hospital in Ranchi ". No doubt doctors are good here. I'll give 4.5/5 star for doctors. But Hospital bill, medicines & consumables, diagnostics, room rent are too expensive here & may cost you in lakh within 2 to 3 days. They do unnecessary time pass during discharging..only to add some extra bills. Hospital management always try their best to charge you maximum in all possible way where money could easily be saved.😔👎 if you don't have good savings/earning then think wisely before visit. Some hospital employee force us to give 5 star rating.

Everything is fine except one rule. A attendent have to be with patient for 24 hrs else the patient will be shifted to ICU. I personally feel this should not be imposed forcefully. I mean everyone wants to be with patient as much as they can.. But every time it's not possible.. This should be taken into consideration. My personal experience with this is very horrible, when I got the call from hospital at late night about 1:30 am that they are shifting my patient to ICU. I requested him that I m alone and I have taken the room far away from hospital but they even didn't consider my problem. And I had to go to hospital at that very night. That was quite horrible.. Everything rest was good.

We recently had our baby delivered here and the review is based on my experience at the hospital and it is strictly for the Orchid TPA team. Extermely unprofessional and laid back team. No respect for patients time or inconvenience caused to patient. 1. No alignment between what Billing (front desk) and insurance team says to patient. 2. During admission was told that covid test is refundable but later was informed it was not. And by the way its 2200, which is way to high. 3. Discharge took almost 12 hrs as the TPA team missed out on mail from the insurance company. 4. Wrong bill was sent to insurance company ( rates which was applicable to cash patient) which caused further delay in discharge. 5. Very rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff when questioned about the delay in discharge process. 5. Last 2 days the baby was in NICU and mother was under forced hospitalization for feeding the baby. We wanted to downgrad the room from super deluxe to private. Which was promised earlier but we never got the room and ended up paying for super deluxe room. 6. Had to follow up every day twice for my security deposit refund and finally got it 5 days after discharge. Overall we were okay with the treatment but the billing and TPA team have given us a nightmare. Definitely this is our last visit. Please don't visit if you want a Hassel free experience.

Really disappointing experience..as someone else mentioned that apart from a few doctors, the staff (specially security & nursing staff) & management are really ill mannered and should be trained on how to respectfully talk to a customer/patient or your staff will burn the image of your hospital to the ground!! Also I'd like to add that please keep fully informed and aware staffs at the reception, as yesterday morning i was told that we don't need a number in advance, and now i have been sitting since 9:15 waiting for the doctor who just arrived around 10:40 approx. Is your customers, time, energy and money invaluable? Or the people at orchid hospital have opened the hospital just for the sake of milking out cash from their customers!! A very well managed hospital with all the facilities available without any hassle. Very clean campus and so helpful staff. Regular check up by Nurses and cleaning staff. Rooms are quite spacious and with good ventilation. My father Got treatment for Hernia over here by Dr. Raman. All things good.

It has been a great service at hospital all through our duration. All the staff are caring in nature and they keep on visiting in between through out the time. My first visit was in May and since then I'm sure that I'm in good hands. But I'm unhappy with only one thing that is waiting time ... Most of the time I need to wait for more than 40 minutes at reception and I really want this to improve.

Starting from the quick seamless admission process, the patient and patient's relatives felt at home in the spotlessly comfortable ward room and warm care of the hospital staff. Medical consultation and treatment process were very professional. Nursing staff, housekeeping staff, canteen and other support staff were always available on hand to help with a smile. Several hospital staff by turns visited from time to time throughout the day to enquire the patient's health status and comfort level. Patient's discharge process was smooth and hassle-free. Courteous staff, nurses and TPA process was smooth. Special thanks to Dr. VK Maheshwari, he is next to a devine angel. My father had a complicated surgery of two major issues- Hernia and Gall bladder stone. Both were done in one go with laparoscopic surgery. Really grateful to you sir. He is one of the rare doctors who responds to calls even late evenings. Extremely caring and courteous in his behaviour. Also Dr. Ekam - really compassionate towards patient and attendants. First thing first Nursing staff was good. Doctor's not at all good. Please please please avoid coming to this hospital. I read so many comments that says the same thing but I did not follow. If you are reading this. Please safely avoid getting into their trap and loose all your savings.bed 305 from 5/4/23 till 13/4/23. Nothing was done. Doctors were divided over to do or not to do the surgery.every other day something or the reason to make us stay and stay longer. I paid 136000 and decided to come out Lama discharge. My mother was admitted for an Acute Kidney Injury in a very serious condition. The response at the emergency room was quick and they quickly shifted her to the ICU after some procedure, the treatment in the ICU was exceptional and under Dr. Navin Burnwal, my mother made quick recovery and was shifted to the ward in 10 days. We’re grateful to the staff, especially paramedics who are extremely well behaved and responsive. The management staff are also very supportive and are friendly.

Services are satisfactory. Nursing and housekeeping members are very helpful. Dr. are knowledgeable. But medicines are way too costly and given on MRP rates that is only affected our process. Rest we can go for any sort of treatment.

Not pleasant experience. The day I got discharged not even a single nurse bothered to give any medicine for the day. Accounts department is very very poor. For discharge they take entire day and I had a refund due which has taken now 5 days and still clue less

Infrastructure is very poor and beds are outdated and uncomfortable.. The toilet seat in my room was broken, and no toilet roll.. The housekeeping staff uses the same pair of gloves to make the patient's bed and handle the dustbin.. The overall hygiene of the hospital is questionable.. The food quality has detoriated(from 8 to 6 out of 10)..The dietitian said that will be sending softer roti but received the same ones (tough to eat).. The nursing staff and doctors have always impressed me and they did so this time.. Unlike my previous visits the management made admission and other formalities very very easy for us, so good job there!!

I am into the hospital industry and being a doctor I would like to recommend OMC for many reasons. My son was admitted here , underwent small procedure, the staff at Radiology is just great and cooperative. Admission desk to TPA are very helpful inspite of being so busy. Wards are clean, nurses are well behaved and well dressed. Kudos to all departments like HK, Nursing, kitchen. Floor supervisor Ms Deepika was of great help. Nursing coordinator Ms.Ruby was prompt in rounds. I cannot name individual sisters but they did a good job. Dharmendra, Kartik from services were always smiling and prompt. Once again thanks to team OMC for such great service.

My paralysed mother was admitted in this hospital on 15 sep 2021 at NCU and she fallen from the bed on 16th night causing to which she got really bad injury on he face and shoulder due to which she was under unbearable pain for the complete night. The medical staff on duty that day was so irresponsible that after they did not attended my mother after putting her on bed from the ground. My mother was crying for the whole night and asking to call her attendent ( Me) but they didn't responded and also not even informed me. When I visited her in the morning at 10 AM and I saw her face I got to know that she fallen last night. My question is from the management that 1) why they are working with this kind of unprofessional staff who don't know their Responsibility. 2) Why you don't allow attendent to be with patients if you are not able to handle. Sir Coming to some one with sorry is very much easy but try to keep yourself in my shoe you will understand the pain. Horrible experience 😔.

I have seen with my own eyes that nursing incharge - HUSSAIN BROTHER stealing costly medicines - antibiotics, albumin, iv cannula, central line, arterial line and other medical things. I don't know if he is selling these things in outside medical store or using them on patients outside orchid to earn more money than his salary in orchid. It may have force me to pay more money in ICU for my patient.

I am very thankful to all team of orchid hospital for taking care of my mother. Since last 9 yrs, I am using the services of this hospital. Most excellent part of the hospital is Emergency ward. Whenever a pateint comes to the hospital, without wait or any process, they start examining the patient and doctors are consulted. Then further admission process are carried. They have very good list of doctors, helpful management team, a well managed nursing and including Dietician doctor with canteen services for hygiene food for patient.

The staffs nurses doctors and management are very good and supportive and takes update regularly. The hospital is crowded at times with only one lift for everyone and one pass per patient is very irritating, however the overall experience is good.

Best service by the nursing staff and dietician. They were very prompt on call and attended the patient with utmost care. Treatment by doctors were very accurate. They did not over prescribe any unnecessary medicines or tests. Good facility for attendant as well. Food quality and variety of menu was very good. Dietician even customised food as per patient taste and need. Housekeeping staff were efficient and they kept the room and bathroom clean all the time. Overall excellent service by the team. We had a wonderful experience in Orchid. The hospital is neatly maintained. Each and every staff is so friendly helpful and humble. Some of them we interacted were Bella, Lalita, Sarita, Pramila and Shanti. There is always an assistance at any point of time. I would strongly recommend Orchid Hospital for all medical purposes.

Everything was good but there was certain areas where improvement is required.... 1. Lift services must be separated for normal people & patients. 2. There must be better parking facility. I parked my vehicle on road.

The admission process is smooth. Hospital is well equipped with resources for angioplasty. Overall doctors and nurses know their job well. If going for angioplasty in Ranchi I recommend this place. Dr. Amit Chaturvedi did our counselling well before the surgery. The management needs to be little proactive in terms of TPA and discharge. The waiting hall needs to be upgraded as attendants gets least accommodated in the hospital during and after the surgery.

Medical facilities are undoubtedly good. Management needs to be trained in handling the crowd, especially receptionists, who need to strengthen in numbers. The TPA, in particular, should speak softly and not like an auditor. Rest the nurses, and hygiene is good. In general, parking facilities, drinking water, and sitting arrangements have to be made in a proper way. I hope this will address soon .

Medical staff including Doctor, Nurse and others was well behaved and very helpful but on other hand few in front office and billing counter they were very ill mannered and rude. They should not try to threaten customer. Another thing they should fasten discharge process for me it took around 5 hours to get discharged even though I was paying cash. They should not irritate people with some of there trivial rules.

I went for comprehensive health checkup and the team was really helpful along with the doctors. They ensure how to manage time of patients and allow them to go through these all tests. This isn’t my first visit here we do visit regularly for health check ups.

Front office staff behaviour is very good. At the time of admission staff is brief every thing like family. Specially Doctor Neha mam Nursing, all staff very co-operative. I happy with treatment. Discharge process is good.

Very bad behaviour of reception staff and poor management which leads to misguide patient and their family. They follow you till the bill payment and then leave you bear the consequences of their so called rules and regulations. No medical ethics in staff and no complaint resolution. No system functioning for grievance redressal. And all concentration of reception staff is on feedback which they self appraise by influencing you at bill counters, just sign the feedback form, and further they will fill as they want. Seriously, one should consult govt hospitals as they provide better treatment at minimal cost.

Came to know about Orchid by Google only and here is my 5 day personal opinion for this hospital - All the medical staff and doctors are supportive. Generally sisters are communicating very politely. The reception staff are not that polite as there is always rush there so I understand their problem. One con I would like to mention that hospital is not that spacious and lifts are always full. The space required for a multi speciality hospital doesn't fulfill by this hospital. Also the no of rooms ( CCU , ICU and general wards) must be increased as I saw with my own eyes that many patients returned back due to unavailability of general wards. Rest all the services are good. A review by responsible citizen.

Hospital canteen service is very clean and healthy. They serve healthy food options. Swadesh(staff) was very polite in behave and provide with excellent canteen service. Nursing service is better compared to many metro city hospitals. They are disciplined, well managed and friendly in behaviour.

I was here for 2 days. Went through surgery of pilonidal sinus. Overall experience was nice. Place is neet and clean. Staffs are nice. They'll attend you timely. Food is decent. Financially, it is on expensive side. Make sure you have medical insurance. About the surgery- I will update after recovery.

The discharge summary of the patient admitted for 13 days in the ICU is incomplete. Called the hospital multiple times but the incompetent staff answering the call did not bother to revert. I had to explain the issue multiple times to multiple people with whom I interacted on the call. The doctors Dr. Saurabh, Dr. Pahan, and Dr.Amit were great but the hospital needs to work on their management. The service does not match the price you pay.

Good doctor. Nearly everything else about the service in the hospital is terrible. Every side: from basic timings of services to financial departments, to even the people in the reception lobby are slow and unprofessional. A process that can take less than five minutes will take upwards of a couple of hours. They couldn’t even provide a receipt of payment on the same day as a procedure.

One of our family members met with an accident, the ambulance service was quick and the admission was hassle free. Almost all of the nursing staff was very caring and billing department was also very efficient. There still time to see my relative’s full recovery, so time will tell the results. However our 5 day stay was very comfortable. Housekeeping and nurses would respond instantly when called from ward, and had excellent bedside manners. There were 1-2 instances where things could have been better, however overall our experience was very good.

They have to visit the call room to rest the call system after attending the patient. No dispute of billing and overall administration, dietitian excellent. Constraint: 1. Difficult car parking at hospital and near around. 2. Dietitian charge Rs.700 per week is additionally payable as non medical charge which should be included in treatment package.
