Went to Applebees on Jamacha last night with my friend for her birthday. Our server was really great and took good care of us. The food was good but our entrees didn't look anything like the pictures on their menu. Kind of disappointed, but none the less tasty. See pics.

Well, here's another great dinner we had. We had a gift card to spend and wanted to try some new things. Glad we did. The sweat chili chicken sandwich was soooo good. The sauce is amazing and with the coleslaw on the sandwich just made it go overboard good. We also got the Crispy shrimp plate and the portion was perfect. We got to share both plates and were perfectly full with a little left to take home. Nothing of the sandwich cause we destroyed it. The server who was bar tending at the time, I think was David. He had a bright smile in his face and served everyone promptly. We never waited for a refill of soda or water. He was on it. It was quite in the restaurant when we went in with a couple people at the bar and maybe 2 other ta les. But he sure managed to keep everyone happy. We will go back to this location for sure. I recommend you do too.

I ordered some breadsticks and Alfredo dipping sauce at curbside. They tasted like herbs in the bread. Gave them a funny taste, but try them for yourself, you may like the different taste.

At least 8 tables were available, and we had to wait for 25 minutes to be seated. It took 10 minutes for service on drinks , Appetizers and addional 15 minutes for food and being passed over several times before our drinks where refilled. There was plenty of Staff members ,who was standing around and talking with each other. I have never had a bad Experience at Applebee's even when they are Crowded but there wasn't a crowd here.

Good, its an average place. Not great but not bad either. Service was slooow. Our waitress was non existent. We had to constantly grab another waitress to get things we needed. It's a "in a pinch" kind of restaurant.

I have just left with my party of 8 after over an hour of waiting for APPETIZERS & alcoholic beverages. Not to mention the main entrees that were ordered with our drink order. When we questioned BOTH the waitress & and manager, they said they'd look into it, but NO ONE confirmed any progress. Ruined a family meal with guests from out of state. Two parties that were seated just before us (party of 2 & of 6) were leaving following their meal when we got up to leave with NO food. I have NEVER had such horrid service at this location. APPALLING.

Stopped here for a late dinner and we sat at the bar which is always nice. Food was good and service was great. Still can't believe that Wes from Puddle of Mudd eats here from time to time. Never said anything to him just let him be but it's crazy when you see famous people at your local Applebee's

We only wait a couple of minutes to be seated. Server was friendly. Food was delayed a little bit more than usual. Food was good like always. The dollar Margarita 🍹 are great.

We were a party of four, seated promptly with menus. Server took our order promptly and delivered drinks quickly. Food was delivered quickly but the fries were barely warm but were replaced immediately without question. Certainly we will be back when we are in the area.

There were 11 of us getting together for a small family get together. Our waitress was very precise and kept us apprised of everything going on. Our food was good and came out in a timely manner. We chatted afterwards and our waitress kept checking on us. Very nice experience.

Went for the 1st time since covid. The prices are still reasonable. Especially compared to other places that doubled over the last 2 years. The food was pretty good. High end bar food done nicely. We had a couple of drinks as monthly specials they were served in Hugh mugs, but were only 6 bucks. And top it off, our waiter was competent. Said yes more than no. Made us happy, unlike so many don't care customer service pukes in covid mode.

I had the pleasure of being served by Taylor at Applebees's on Jamacha Rd and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to listen to our questions and offered great recommendations. Throughout the meal, she checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. What really stood out to me was her positive attitude and genuine care for her customers. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. Her service was outstanding and made for a memorable evening. I would highly recommend Taylor to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. Thank you, Taylor for making our night so special!

Service is slow but food is tasty and portions are good. Great family place

Came to this applebees in rancho San diego due to their 0 wait time for a party of 10. We had a great time, service, and food, both fabulous

The food was great. But the service was terrible. Long wait times, inconsistent orders, incorrect dishes, and table left unattended practically the whole time. After our usual waiterJacob quit, service has tooken a massive toll.

We have always been very fond of Applebee's in general. This was, however, our first time at this location, and will never return. We had an awful server who was extremely inattentive. Our 2 year old granddaughter spilled her milk while he was at our table and he saw nothing. He walked away as if nothing happened . Nothing to help us clean the spill. That was the final straw with this server.

Great place. Over the years there's been really rude people, and a lot of great ones. You know when they're there, just avoid those times. The food is pretty consistent and the good stuff make it worth it.

Worst service ever. A/C wasn’t working. Our server never attended us correctly. They brought us our food with no napkins and utensils. We had to ask for them. We just stared at our food for awhile hoping they would have gotten the hint. But of course not. Worst of all no A/C and we were told to use our menus as fans. The endless boneless wings were horrible. Tasted like a microwave dinner from the 99cent store. For sure we will never be going back. Suggest neither does anyone else.

I've ordered steak here for delivery and takeout several times. They cook the steaks frozen all the time. They don't thaw them. I know because I've cooked frozen unthawed steak and it has a certain look and taste.

First time going in to an applebees in years, fully expecting average diner quality. Was actually taken by surprise how well everything was cooked! My girlfriend ordered chicken and I ordered a medium rate steak, both cooked perfectly, and seasoned well! Their drinks were also pretty well balanced. I've heard if you're local to the area this applebees is one of the better locations to go to.

Our waitress Chelsea was amazing, very attentive and always had a smile on her face. Checked in multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. My family will definitely be back because of her service.

Good meal. Sat at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. Bartender, Evangelina, was very nice. Recognized that one of our meals wasn't cooked correctly and took care of it without being asked. Will definitely be back! I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken sandwich. Definitely recommend it.

So look, if you've been to Applebee's you know what you're getting; they're mostly the same. Where this location stands out is in their costumer service. I've never had a waiter/waitress who wasn't excellent, and their curbside pickup team is above and beyond. My orders are always obnoxious (changes, extra sauces, packed a certain way, etc. They've always served me with a smile and gone WAY above and beyond on multiple occasions. I'm not going to be specific because then my review might be used as a weapon against them (you did it for this guy, do it for me!), but I can't recommend them enough. Their entire staff is great and the restaurant is always spotless. I could just go on and on but this would just start sounding fake. One last example of how great this Applebee's is? I'm not really a streak guy, but I fell in love with their Bourbon Street steak; it's just that damn good. Just eat there, you won't regret it.

This was a terrific food and service experience. The restaurant was clean and orderly. Never rushed, polite service. The Chicken, Shrimp and pasta were flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It makes me hungry just thinking about our meal! Definitely Give Star rating. Richard and Terry

I thought the pace of service was a mix; I got my own malt vinegar and hot sauce from the kitchen; although, shortly after returning to table waiter came with the hot sauce. The food and cocktails were pretty good. We did not have to wait too long for seating. Server mixed up delivered order but I was able to quickly and easily swap as food plates were being placed on the table. I was happy to find this place open on Easter Sunday.
