On our way back to Stuttgart from Zurich, we stopped by this restaurant for dinner. Friendly service, good portions and the food was decent. Could be spicier though. My favourite of the 3 curries was the Dhal Tarka. Update (7/7/23): we returned with our son this time on our way back from Lausanne and ate dinner there again. The tandoori chicken was tender and the garlic naan had generous bits of garlic. We had lamb vindaloo, dal Tarka (still my preferred dish there) and chicken madras too and everything was good.

Indian restaurant in a quaint little town close to the Rhein falls! Tasty North Indian food. Friendly owner and staff.

I was in search of a good Indian restaurant (we have only one in Schaffhausen), and finally I have found it...in Germany, but closeby! Food was great, and fairly authentic. Naan was really good. Service was super nice too. This is located on the main street in Gailingen, and it is a nice boutique place. Only 10-12 min from Schaffhausen by car! Will be visiting this many times for sure. Try any of the dishes!

It's rare to come across a genuine Indian restaurant in a remote corner of Europe where the food doesn't taste the same and this restaurant is one of those rare finds. While on a roadtrip across Western Europe, when we were craving home cooked food, we came across this hidden gem of a place which catered to our tastes and needs. It's run by a lovely Nepali family who were friendly, caring, and absolutely lovely. They made us feel right at home and their food was simple, fresh and flavoursome... I would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting this area, even if it's a bit of a detour... Thanks again for your hospitality and the delicious food.

Delhi-1 is a regular place where we eat. The food is delicious and fresh. We have found the portions to be generous. We particularly enjoy the lunch menu as the prices are reasonable and includes a soup or salad with each entree. We have tried lots of dishes, but the Lamb Saag and the mango Chicken are favorites. The food comes quickly and the staff are kind, helpful and attentive.

the sauces and vegetarian dishes are really good, but the quality of the meat, especially the chicken is really dissapointing. it tastes very bad, repeatedly. we would rather pay a bit more to get a decent quality meat. don't get any non-vegetarian dishes.

We were there for dinner, and we enjoy a lot, the ambient was nice and the service fantastic. The portion were big and we take away the rest. The lamb was really fine, and the Chains masala too. A Place to return! Ah! And the building should we say was perfectly match the Indian deco with the German traditional style. :)
