👍 Beautiful spot for photos. The covered bridge is in good shape. Nice short loop trail beside the water. Very clean and well kept. Beautiful area. We were there on a Saturday in January. Nice time of year to visit, only a few people were there. People often mention bridge, nice, trail, area, short,

What a cool old bridge! Have never seen a covered bridge in my long life so to see that was historic and really neat! Beautiful surroundings, paths to walk on and picnic benches to us while there. We took some really nice pictures there too!

The circle trail is nicely done and beautiful to walk. The water is not quite as clean looking. But nice creek formation. There are picnic tables and shade. No restroom.

This is actually a really nice easy trail. It's clean and well kept. There are a few stairs so if you have bad knees they do have rails to help you get up and down the stairs. And when I say a few I say less than 10 stairs to deal with.

Open to the public from dawn to dusk, this is one of only two historic covered bridges in North Carolina. The 54' structure was built 1911 to span the west fork of the Little River by J.J. Welch for the sum of $40. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

This place is nice but out of the way. We drove 1 1/2 hour to check it out and really not much to do here. There is a little creek, but the water looked dirty so I would not let our puppy in the water. We had a picnic and walked the short trail around and left. I really do not recommend going out of your way to visit. Now if you are in the area then I suggest stopping.

Cool piece of history to check out when you're in the area. Has a nice area to have a picnic and a little walking path for a short hike. The only drawback is the graffiti all over the bridge, it could use a good power washing once over.

Local clowns have ruined it with graffiti but it was a overall decent stop. The area around is worth a drive. I wouldn't be disappointed adding this to our drive but I'd never just go visit this alone

It was a little smaller than expected, but it was still very nice to see. Really stinks there's a bit of graffiti on it, but it's still a nice place to visit. There's a little trail beside it that takes you along a creek, that was cute.

Went while it was raining had the whole place to ourselves. Cool looking bridge, and a really short trail along the creek that loops back to the bridge. It's fun if you like a little piece of history. Wish people would leave the spray paint at home though.

This bridge is very easy to access. It is down a short gravel road, but has an area where you can easily turn around. This bridge has some graffiti, which is a shame as it does take away from the bridge's natural beauty. I did get an amazing picture of my mom inside the bridge. "Time" is the word that came to me before taking the picture. This bridge also has a very nice path area to walk that takes you a short distance through the woods and around the stream.

Love this place. There is a walking trail for you to enjoy. My husband carved our nameson a tree last year, and it's still there.
