I loved this hostel!! I stayed there twice while my travels in Myanmar. It's very very clean and the staff is super friendly. You can pay US Dollar and Kyat. The hostel is a bit hidden in one of the (dirty and smelly) streets and is a real oasis. It's furniture is really modern and chic - there is a balcony on top where you can relax and hang around. There also offering a laundry service, which was quite good! Definitely recommend this hostel and would come back anytime!

The hostel is accessible and close to major tourist spots in downtown area. The washrooms are also good, the dorm is very comfy. In short, you get what you are paying. However the front desk was confusing because the bus rates were only for luxury transports. The cheaper ones that I later found in market are not here. So if you are booking this hostel and looking for cheap bus tickets then I would suggest looking around other hostels as well

I love everything about this hostel! Clean, welcoming atmosphere, quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the cafe is huge, air-conditioned, and the perfect place to work with reliable fast Wi-Fi; the dorms are cozy with comfy beds and tons of storage space in the bed area and for your bags; and it's in a great neighborhood. I even messaged them to let me know when there's an opening during the Thingyan/new year water festival dates since they were fully booked online and they were so quick with their response to let me know that they had one! Unfortunately I couldn't make it anymore due to a personal reason but I really appreciated their customer service. My favorite hostel in Yangon :)

Yangon is a charming city. Scott made my trip even better. Dorm room is comfortable with privacy. Each dock have its only locker. The whole building is very clean even if the shared toilet. Front desk is extremely helpful, they always tried their best to help you. I would definitely come back when I visit Yangon next time.

I had a wonderful stay at the Scott Hostel for my only night in Yangon. The beds in the dorm room are among the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in at any hostel in the world, and the entire set-up - having a large spacious cupboard in your bunk, one wall outlet in your bunk, and a large locker to put your valuables in underneath all the bottom bunks - was fantastic. The showers and bathroom stalls are a bit small and cramped, and the stairs are a bit steep (yes, I am struggling to find stuff to complain about so I am targeting the stairs!) - other than that, I could not find anything to complain about this terrific little hostel. It's in a prime location, prices are super reasonable for a night's stay, there is a comfortable and cozy hang-out area on the ground floor next to the check-in desk where you can purchase water and hang out with other hostel friends (as well as get some work done on the desks and charge your devices at the many outlets provided)... I could go on and on, but I will definitely be back if I find myself in Yangon in the future!

My stay at the hostel was alrighty I really have to say the staff is friendly helpful and speaks English really well. The lobby area and the rooftop are also really good. I liked it. Breakfasts Includes toast with jam, cereals, milk, juice and coffee. Not too bad for a hostel in my opinion. The bad things were that the toilet constantly smelled like pee and my dorm room smelled mouldy and like pee. The bunk beds look quiet old and need some renovation. There are definitely some things to improve.

Highly recommended hostel. Just walking distance to all downtown attractions. I love their bed, hotel quality. They also will let u have an early check in if theres no other guest. Only negative side is i think the floors of their toilets, but everything else is perfect.

This place sounded good from the reviews, but upon arriving I was really disappointed. I’m used to. pose in hostels but the noise in this hostel made it literally impossible to sleep. The doors are on sliders and they slam shut. Everything is wood so the floors above sound like everyone is stomping around and it’s just an extremely noisy place. The chinese guy at the front desk is really abrasive and rude. He was awful. There was a younger customer service guy that was lovely but the main guy who is the Manager was absolutely disgusting to deal with. Absolutely no concept of how to act with customers and no idea about customer service, really appalling.

Clean hostel. The room is small, but each bed is quite big and has a curtain which gives privacy. I really enjoyed that. Staff is friendly. They offer transfer to the airport for only 8000 kyat. There's washing machine and drier available for 6 usd.

Great location! We did not stay here since was just got off a night bus and then were flying the same day but the rooms looked clean. They let us leave our bags for the day for a small fee and use the restrooms so we could explore Yangon. Nice cafe set up inside and helpful staff. We will stay here when we are back in Yangon.

🫀 It's a small hostel in a dirty big city. The hostel is downtown and is the place to be when you want to go out to have some drinks and good food. It's very close to Chinatown where the food is pretty nice. The Hostel itself is small and have no big or nice lobby where you can hangout. We had a very...
