Ate here one evening while staying in Rapid City. I ordered the Buffalo Meatloaf. It was bacon wrapped with portobello mushrooms, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and fried onion and bourbon ketchup. It was delicious!!! Richard was my server - he was awesome. The decor and atmosphere of the pub were great.

Stopped here for lunch after picking up my daughter from the airport. Good vibe to the place. Large bar area. We sat on the patio because it was such a nice day. I ordered the Jake Burger and fries. I believe my daughter ordered the Murphy's Burger with sweet potato fries. The patties were fresh, hand formed, and had great flavor. Margaritas were good. Good memory to have.

A lot of old towns have revitalized their main street, and this is one of those. This place had a great rustic atmosphere, great food, great service and great beer selection. They have inside and outside seating, high and low tables and a nice bar.

We came here with friends and ordered few things 👍 most food were great, except the steaks 😬 We had Rib eye and sirloin here; We had to send it back because they very rare, even though we've ordered medium rare & medium. But than, second time it came back, it was still, pretty rare... 🥩 The waitress we had was amazing 💯 She was so friendly and helpful with our requests and even offered free drinks and sides. Which, it's not Hee fault so we told her she didn't need to do that. We were happy with other entrée and appetizers 😃

This place is very clean, the food is excellent, and staff is very kind and attentive. The outdoor seating area is my favorite on nice days. Not much else to say, everything was fabulous.

Went on a not so busy Tuesday night, the atmosphere was lovely although our server was no where to found and we had to wait forever to get our bill, besides that everything else was okay.

The food was average but the service was truly disappointing. There was a dead ant in my glass of water. Upon bringing it to the server's attention, it was replaced with a new glass of water but she was dismissive of my concern. Definitely would not recommend.

Splendid! This place has very good service! The food was tasty and the staff was friendly. The building was clean and had around a dozen TVs scattered throughout the building. Five emojis that describe my experience are… 🍗🥗😋🍟😁

Great food!! Only issue was we ordered then waited about 30 mins and watched people around us come sit down and get their food before us. Service was great the girl was super nice and had water on our table the second we sat down. Food tasted great and was cooked perfect.

MO. ask for MO (only on Sunday) . Very awesome menu- compliments to the chef. We had water, and a mocktail, with the black salmon salad . We did entice 2 ladies, one with modelo and another with a custom Murphys rye Olde fashioned . The ladies smiled. The ladies giggled. 10/10 stop here for a tapas (quick bite). And have a smooth craft c(m)ocktail too.

Bartenders were awesome. The sausage sampler was very good. The third sausage was the least flavourful of them all. It should have been served in the middle.

Review from a sheltered local! Loved the atmosphere and service was excellent! Went with my hot wife and started out with the tomato soup and beer cheese soup. Both were great! For entrees we got the Buffalo Meatloaf and the Pineapple chicken sandwich which were very tasty! The meatloaf had a crispy outside and was very flavorful with the ketchup sauce. The chicken sandwich was flavorful, but the chicken was a bit plain. The chicken came with sweet potato fries and a butter/honey dip that was very good! Wish that dip was more viscous so you could dip the fries into it however. Overall great experience! Will but coming back for sure 👍🏽

This pub reminded us of a country western bar straight from the 50s, in the cool retro kind of way. We sat ourselves and didn't wait long for the very efficient waiter. There's a substantial rotating beer menu, with all the basics plus lots of local options. Please choose local to support the craft beer market! Plus they're delicious! The menu is broad with salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees. The burgers seemed hand packed and were amazing. These are not your average Sysco patties! I chose the Murphy's burger with green apple slices and brie (WOW) and my partner chose the Popper burger with fried jalapenos. HUGE! His side was potato salad which was loaded with boiled eggs, and everyone knows that's the best way to make potato salad! I had the sweet potato fries, which were a little soft but the maple bacon butter made up for it. We also had the sausage platter to start which came with three different kinds of bratwurst with mustard and chutney. Prices were more than reasonable and service was fast and efficient. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service and good food/beer. One thing that took away from five stars was that the food was lukewarm and not hot. Other than that, it was delicious.

Delicious food, very attentive stuff and prices are very reasonable compared to Miami I was visiting from. I was eating there every day all my staying lunch and dinner. It’s really so good!

Great, local place to have beer with friends and watch the game or have some eats. We had the shepherd's pie which was hearty and filling. I would say the amount of potatoes was disproportionate to the stew part. The potatoes are delicious but there were too many. More veggies and meat please. Would visit again. Great service and a fun atmosphere 2ns VISIT... Had the Buffalo Meatloaf entree and a. Bowl of Meat Chili. The buffalo meatloaf was served atop a bed of mashed potatoes and was accompanied by 3 springs of asparagus and some onion rings. The meatloaf was SPOT ON! Flavorful and wrapped in bacon. The asparagus was a little weak but all in all everything was delicious and hearty. The chili was flavorful and meaty. Both were good selections after a long day hiking.

The waitstaff is friendly, attentive, and adds to the overall enjoyable dining experience. The downtown atmosphere of Murphy’s is vibrant and lively, making it a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a meal. Overall, Murphy’s Pub and Grill is definitely worth a visit for its great food, excellent service, and lively downtown ambiance.

Service was great (Lainie?), food was excellent. I loved the mandolined zucchini and squash under the salmon - it gives the dish a beautiful look and evenly cooked veggies. The sausage sampler was tasty (the top two were my favorites). Andddd the carrot cake. If you love carrot cake, don't plan on sharing this one. I tend to avoid desserts at restaurants because usually it's just your frozen, hard, dry cake.. but this most definitely was NOT that. Get the cake. Eat the cake. You'll thank me.

Stopped for supper, chose the buffalo meatloaf. Food was great and service was too. Nice place to eat and hangout. Live music was part of my dinner scene.

Short stay in Rapid City and found Murphy's on line. Food and staff were excellent and the patio was perfect. Fish and Chips delicious! Dog friendly on top of that! Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Understaffed. Lots of open tables with no one to work those tables. Long waits, slow service, however, worth the wait. Food was delicious and servers were friendly.

We’re able to cater to 8 of us very quickly just before changing from dinner to bar menu. Food was tasty and provided quickly. Let us eat in our table as heavy rain started just as we finished eating

Ambience was delightful, spacious, elevated. Comfortable seating. Our server was great. Prices were fair. Food was decent but a little bland; menu offerings very traditional. A little more creativity needed to take the grub up to the next level.
