I wish I could rate this less. What a serious let down, I have no idea how they stay open. The food was awful, just awful. We had been on the road 7 hours so we ATE the food. Not a single bit of flavor, nothing Mexican about this place. Tex Mex maybe, like a “Tumbleweed” restaurant. The rice & beans were just disgusting. Had a fajita and it came out in like 3 minutes which was obviously a sign. The steak on it looked like a bag of freezer meat that was thrown in the microwave, the vegetables were pure mush. Drinks are outrageously priced for zero alcohol to be in them. Just a mess, they need some help in that kitchen asap. Also, the server was great, wasn’t her fault the food was foul.

I have a nice happy hour special with the specialty nachos half price. Make sure you tell them what you want on there so you don't get the wrong item. I found the drinks to be a little expensive. The place is very nice and cool and good chips and salsa. I'll definitely go back and try something else next time I'm in town. The bartender I don't know it's name is very friendly man on Monday night

Drinks were 👍 good. Our waitress messed up an order which happens too. I was very disappointed in the amount of food they put in the tacos for the price as well as they did not have any dairy free options and we were not told before the food came out.

My food came out lukewarm. The salsa wasn't that good. My son really enjoyed his tacos and the La Casa margarita was really tasty. Their corn cakes were very dry. My husband described it as "eating sand". I requested salsa verde for my enchilada bit it came out with red chili. Our waitress seemed distracted because she said she was going to bring us a pitcher of water but never brought any. The decor was super cute

After 200 miles of signs and working up an appetite walking the stairs at Mount Rushmore I definitely HAD to stop in. Quickly seated and ordered the 3 Amigos soft taco platter with beans, rice, and “cornbread” type concoction too. Fresh in house made salsa and nacho chips were delicious. Everything tasted great and was very nicely presented. Top 3 of “Mexican” restaurants I have tried. (#1 is closed - Los Dos Amigos/Norman OK and #2 Fiesta Jalisco North Conway, NH)

Fun atmosphere and the service has always been acceptable. The food tastes fine, but for diners who desire authentic Mexican, this place is a miss. This is a picture of my enchilada, which isn't even close; it more closely resembles a rolled up quesadilla in both texture, flavor and presentation. I personally avoid this place in lieu of a couple other Mexican restaurants, but my daughter likes it so we go once a year. Disappointing each time.

The best Mexican food I have had since I left San Diego. I wish Hendersonville Tennessee would open a Que Pasa Cantina. The Bartender/Server was the best. Hard working and friendly. The food is a 10. Margaritas were fantastic. I was amazed with this place

Very fun and traditional Mexican atmosphere. The bar looked fun with games on. Very friendly and attentive service. Hand fried chips and homade salsa to start. I had the blackened shrimp fajitas. Surprised to see house made tortillas. That's rare. Excellent flavors throughout. Awesome experience overall and really great Mexican.

We always come to Que Pasa when we are in town, and it never disappoints! 😀 Fabulous food, mostly because the red chile sauce is to die for. The spicy strawberry margarita is the best you'll ever have. Service is always great! Adrian served us tonight, and we thank her and the chef for a fantastic meal.... Half of which had to come home with us because they are just so generous here. Yum-o!! 😍😁

Very nice place, got there before happy hour ended so we enjoyed a few margaritas! Chips and salsa were good, the service was great, the waitress was nice and friendly and answered our questions... Food was delicious and super hot, mine sizzled for about 5 minutes!

The ambiance is just wonderful, it was clean and smelled great. We ordered our food off the menu, but our waitress never mentioned they make tortilla from scratch! Our tacos came on prefab shells - like Taco Bell. WHY would they make fresh tortillas, not tell their customers, and then serve TB shells?! They could easily elevate to a regular 5 stars, step it up! Our waitress didn’t make any drink recommendations so we stuck with a soda and water.

Que Pasa is a great addition to rapid city. They have good food and a really nice atmosphere. The location is excellent, right downtown. They have about the best patio in town . The menu is pretty big with plenty of options for everyone. The fajitas are especially good.

We happen to drive by and the aesthetic of the outdoor seating and logo made us want to try it. We were not disappointed. We got sat quickly and our waitress was super kind and helpful with the options.

We were in Rapid City only a short time and wanted to find something tasty. Que Pasa didn't not disappoint. We had the Chicken and Steak as well as the Surf and Turf Fajitas. Both dishes weee awesome! The place has a great service and a petty good drink selection. They seem to have a very large listing of tequila options, if that's your thing. Definitely stop by if you're in town.

We stopped by for my sons bday meal. It was during sturgis so I understand the busy atmosphere. Our server was polite. The food took a little while and I didn’t get some of my sides for my fajitas, so I just shared with my mom since she got fajitas as well rather than potentially being wasteful and adding more requests onto our server. The tortilla soup had a kick and was good. The shrimp cocktail had fresh ingredients but was a little heavy on the cilantro. Quest was delicious!

This place is so pretty inside including the bathroom. I was a bit concerned after reading a previous review that the service was slow but thankfully we got seated and had a server getting our order and delivered the chips and salsa. All in all, it was a nice restaurant to take a break after a nonstop visit to Mt Rushmore and other spots in the area. The price is also reasonable. The portion was generous - I couldn’t finish my chimichanga even though I wish I could finish everything.

We eat here every time we are in Rapid City, and it is always excellent. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They use a dedicated fryer for the corn chips, so those are truly gluten-free. Their drink specials are tasty, and their portions are generous for both food and drink. Whether you have an intimate party or a family reunion or anything in between, whether you want to sit inside or outside or in a private room, they can and will accommodate you. Give them a try, and you will be hooked too!

The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla may not be typical Mexican fare but it was Tasty! Fair prices, large portions, friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend trying to have a quiet conversation there, the atmosphere was loud but not obnoxious. Will definitely go there again.

It's not authentic. Before you come for me. The chicken fajitas were dry and they tossed water on the skillet to make it steam. The server was nice, but in the picture you can see I ate barely any of it and didn't feel well after. The waiterdid not offer to take off my meal since I didn't want to take it home.

Beautiful restaurant with super friendly staff and food that was utterly mind-blowing. We came because of the I-90 billboards, and I'm thrilled to say the hype is legit. Stephanie was our waitress tonight, and she was phenomenal. The whole time she waited on us, she also took care of tons of tables that came in right after we had. It's clear she knows what she's doing, and we were extremely grateful to have her waiting our table.

Host/Hostess said their system was down, and we couldn't be seated at a table, but could wait at the bar (about 45 minutes), which we did. Bartender was friendly and served us chips and salsa with our choice of libations while we waited. Bartender eventually had us seated outside at a table for 6 and arranged a server to assist us. Fiasco over...we were finally ordering and going to begin dinner... Steak fajitas arrived. I've never had skirt steak that tough before...cut incorrectly with the grain and in such large pieces. I was able to saw the pieces down to a size that would fit in a tortilla, not an easy task with the butter knife provided. Taste was ok, but I feel like it was overcooked, along with the improper slicing. Only saving grace was the company I was with! If not for the sparkling conversation, evening would have been a total bust. I won't be returning to Que Pasa...That's what's up!

Never had full chips and salsa at the end of the meal before. Salsa was so salty you couldn’t taste the flavors of the vegetables. Guacamole was going bad. Beef tacos had no flavor and the rice was equally terrible, definitely not Spanish rice. Refried beans were dry. The workers were totally stressed out. The only one who enjoyed her food was my daughter who had chicken nuggets and fries. Server was nice to us. Manager was nice and took the food off the bill. They need to totally redo the recipes. Not a Mexican restaurant at all.
