Ordered the chopped sirloin or something that was $16. I had it before at another Texas Roadhouse in VA a year ago and don't remember it being so little an amount. I did not order sides since none were appealing for a keto eater. The small amount of food I got was absolutely ridiculous...the size of a 1/4 lb. burger with a few mushrooms, onions and cheese on top...not even "chopped". When the waiter brought it, I literally said...."That's it?!" The apathetic manager came by a few minutes later and I told her that I was disappointed in the portion size for the price, and she just showed a concerned face and said "I'm sorry....but it tastes ok, right?" No "what can we do to make you happy" or, adjusting the price since I didn't have sides, no customer service at all. Apologetic words are useless. 😣 I will not be eating at this place any more, no value or care by staff for the money, and will go to Longhorn Steakhouse instead.

We got there around 5:15 and the place was packed. We got a table right away but as we were leaving there were tons of people waiting. We ordered a porterhouse to share with 3 sides. The hot buns with cinnamon butter was so good as well. It was all delicious and enough food for 2 people. They had a customer rep go around and ask people how the service and food was. That is a very good idea. Will definitely go there again.

This is the very first time we had such an uncomfortable experience at this particular restaurant. Our server Heaven, didn't check on us too much and I noticed there was no manager walking around to check on the customers like there usually is. As you can see from the photo, this should have been medium well but it looks more like raw than even rare! The steak was taken off of our final bill at least but she didn't come around to see how we were going to pay. I paid our bill online at least, otherwise I shudder to think how long we would wait for our card to be processed. This was one of a very few in Rapid city that we were happy to go to. This has never happened before and I am not sure if we will ever return. A letter to their corporate office along with our bill will be in the making...

Our ribeye steaks were cooked right to order and tasted fine with just a simple salt/pepper seasoning. Everything else was also cooked fine, but unfortunately, the salads are pre-made and served on ice-cold plates, and it would be nice to get a beer in a glass that isn’t frozen as well. Still, the service was friendly and fast, and their fresh bread rolls with sweet butter are a satisfying family favorite. Mar 2022

My great niece who turned 4, liked sitting on the saddle and the staff wishing her a Happy Birthday. Service was fine. Some of the food was a bit overdone. Love the cactus blossom so did the kids. The decor was very colorful.

Killer Ribs fall off the bone goodness. Salad was cold but one leaf was brown not fresh, only had 1 crouton. Biggest complaint was kids meal was raw undercooked chicken. Not sure how many were consumed. Manager replaced and comped the kids meal and then just covered our entire bill. No one got sick and they assured me the kitchen was made aware. Overall a good experience. They were busy but not a long wait and no other issues. Waitress Mackenzie was awesome.

I've been waiting for the big moment when the door opened at 3 pm ,will 1st time and very hungry. All smiles as we walked in waited a short moment for a table. After we got settled in Evan, our waiter brought bread that was tasty while looking over the menu. We both settled on the Dallas Filet bake potatoe with salad. The steak was top-notch as the temp was perfect and very easy to cut, and most of all, there was no need for steak sauce as the steak tasted so good. I've not had a steak that good in a while. Handing out the WOW factor for our waiter, Mr. Evans who covered all bases of good service for us today. Please stop in if passing through .

This place is always really busy so make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. The food is very consistent and good even when the restaurant is jam packed. The service is good and the staff is always very friendly. They have plenty of good menu options and the best chicken strips in town.the sweet potatoes are really really good as well. Love Texas Roadhouse and this one was no different! Fast service and great $11.99 special that was cheaper than a fast food order I had the other day. Friendly people too

I do love this restaurant chain they have the best service ever and really good food, two things that are curious only last week I happen to eat at the Coeur d'Alene location and I will say that the breading on the chicken and the bread consistency is actually different at both locations they were both very good but just different kind of interesting loved our experience.

Tried to order online wouldn’t go through, called in the order instead. Person on the phone was great, efficient and very personable. Order came up almost 15 minutes early thank goodness we arrived in town at the same time. Picked up order, eating in our RV after a long day expecting a good meal. Rolls, warm and tasty, salad great but the prime rib was very dry and chewy and tasted so so. It was fried, that’s not how a prime rib is supposed to be prepared.

Was very enjoyable! Our server/waiter was Sam and he was very pleasant, I can tell he works very hard! Manager was also checking up on guests, she was very polite. The food was good as always, albeit a bit over cooked, but hat's understandable as it was very busy and almost every table was full. Food was still delicious and we didn't have to wait long. Overall a great experience and a great place to sit down and relax after a long day of being at Mt. Rushmore!

Food was delicious and steak was cooked to order. Potato skins were loaded with cheese and bacon. Although my mixed veggies were "steamed" but were more on the raw side, I certainly enjoyed the side of Chili with the Potato Skins. I can not remember my Waitress name, but she sure passed the Vibe Check. I played a reverse card when the bill was presented, and although she did not have a reverse of her own, she did play a $1 Billion Dollar Bill to pick up the tab. I was just passing through, so I do not know how the crowd is during the week, but after the Football Games on Sunday, this place was packed, so definitely get ahead of the crowd or there will be a wait.

This is my favorite place for cold beer and great food in Rapid City! The beer is so cold it almost turns to slush. And tonight I had the best prime rib I have ever had. And the staff is top notch and the atmosphere the best of the sweetest part of the Dakotas. Go there!

We had originally requested a high chair. When we were seated they realized they were out of the tall high chairs. Unfortunately all of their booster seats weren't set up for how young our son is. These guys bent over backwards to get us into a shorter table so that we could use a high chair. I appreciate their customer service SO MUCH. Definitely made us feel so much better about something that could have been a huge inconvenience. Thanks again!!!!

The food was good as usual. The service was a little slow but friendly. We couldn't get more bread. I'm guessing a little understaffed, and we went at a busy time (Friday evening) Overall though I would go back.

Got a steak and chicken strips. So good for a fair price. Sarah was the best server ever too

Oh my goodness where to start about how wonderful the experience my fiance and I had last night! It was our four year anniversary I don't remember what our servers name was and I feel so horrible about that cause he was absolutely phenomenal!!! He constantly kept checking on us , our drinks were never empty, not too long of a wait he was so on it last night! Plus we had other staff come and ask how it was going if I could I would've given every single staff member a tip! The strawberry lemonade and blackberry lemonade are both delicious 😋. Also the steaks were cooked to perfection. The ribs were amazing and the whole meal overall was very enjoyable! Thank you to the Texas roadhouse team for being so amazing at what y'all do!

Went for work morale building. Wasn't really hungry, but dined on bread and chicken tenders. The food was prompt and good. One in the party had hair in food. The manager came out and apologized numerous times and remade the food. Overall, it was a good time for lunch. No complaints. They do get crowded, so plan ahead. Military discount available.

The wait was pretty long, but it was a Saturday night. When we were initially sat, they crammed us into a booth next to a booth full of people with a table at the end. Needless to say it was extremely difficult getting situated with five adults and two babies, one of which we requested a high chair for and they gave us a booster seat because they couldn’t put a high chair at the end of the table. We requested to move and were told that it depended on table availability but were able to switch tables quickly. Our waitress was fairly quiet and seemed like she had a personal matter going on and didn’t want to be at work. She forgot a couple things that we had requested, like a kids sprite and a spoon. Some of the meals didn’t come out the way we had ordered them; like some steaks weren’t cooked to our request. Our waitress rarely checked on us and we had to go to the bar to request a refill on our soda. Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience but definitely not the best that I’ve had at a Texas Roadhouse.

Just a fantastic experience. The food and service were both great. The steak tasted like one you get from a restaurant a lot more expensive. Our drinks stayed filled the whole time. I would definitely go back.
