Great place right off the interstate. Room rates were very respectable, pet fee was reasonable compared to other places. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were also very large, at least the king-sized rooms. They have a really nice "shop" by the front desk for drinks, snacks, beer and ice cream. Really enjoyed the staff, all very friendly and accommodation. Highly recommended. We stayed one night and ended up staying another as we stayed in the area for another day.

Let me preface my review by stating that my husband and I are pretty easygoing people who just want a comfortable room at a decent price and are able to overlook petty issues. When I read reviews, I am looking for an honest opinion on bed comfort, pool temperature, and breakfast options. So, at minimum that's what our review will address. That said, this is a nice hotel. The beds, linens, and pillows are super comfy and the air conditioner works well. I slept great! The pool was very small and full of children because there is a slide. The main problem I had with the pool was that it was way too cold to comfortably swim in. The only reason I got in was because we had hiked in Badlands NP in 100 degree heat and I was so hot. The hot tub is nice and hot. Breakfast was good. They offer cereal, waffles, fruit, biscuits and gravy, toast, muffins, and juice. This is a pet friendly hotel and although we were not travelling with a pet, we could smell remnants of a pet in our room. I accidentally left my pillow in the room after check out. The hotel called me and asked what to do with it. I told them to throw the pillow away but I would really like to have the pillowcase back as it was homemade. I was advised to send a prepaid UPS envelope and they would send it back. Honestly, with the amount of money paid for the room, I would have expected the hotel to just send it back to me.

We enjoyed our stay due to the pleasant customer service, nice rooms and pet-friendly accommodations! However, there was one miserable, short-haired woman who seemingly hated her job, but one bad apple among gold stars wasn’t going to ruin our stay! Two of my kids each found HAIR in their scrambled eggs but our dogs sure enjoyed it along with the grease-soaked sausages. The shower pressure was great! However, the toilet didn’t flush properly. The issue was promptly addressed but persisted throughout our stay. We used the hall bathroom which wasn’t too big of a deal. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, thanks to a safe family environment, our belongings being secure, and our pets were treated as valued guests!

Nice, clean hotel! The rooms are clean, roomy and the thermostat works perfectly. The beds were comfortable although not much for blankets. The location is close to the interstate, stores, restaurants and mini golf in a well kept part of town. The downside to our stay was the breakfast. No matter what time we went it was very busy with no where to even sit. The selection was poor and what was there was incredibly picked over.

Had a great stay! Had our 2 large dogs with us for our 5 night stay. We got a suite for a little over 80 bucks a night. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Have some renovation on the first floor currently however it didn't bother us at all. Close to everything and the pool was a huge hit for kiddos! Nice yard for the dogs and all the staff were professional and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel and will be staying next year when we come back.

This is a very nice location. The young woman who checked me in was very friendly. I've stayed in quite a few hotels over the last few months and this was by far the best one. It was quiet. Everything worked. The only thing that wasn't fantastic was the housekeeper knocking on the door every half hour starting at 9: 00am. Check out is at 11:00, which means she came four times. I would stay here again and definitely put the do not disturb sign on my door.

My room was at the farthest end of the hotel, I'm handicapped and this was terrible for my excruciating pain in my legs! There was no handicapped rooms with bathrooms that would have been helpful with hand rails. Breakfast needed more variety like having eggs an sausage. Everything was pretty empty at 6:50am the sausage and biscuits was yummy! It was dog friendly!

Excellent hotel. Friendly front staff and very attentive. Hotel was very clean from the lobby area, to the swimming pool to the halls and our room as well. Smelled very fresh. The pool was great and the waterslide a lot of fun.

Good hotel with nice rooms. Breakfast was ok but could be a little bit improved. The pool with slide was good for kids. Would give it mote stars if the room rate was a little bit lower and mostly if they wouldn't add hidden resort fees on top of their posted price. The fee itself is small (9$/night or so) but it really make no sense to have a resort fee in what is a very standard hotel, this by no mean a resort so it feel like this is just a cash grab.

Room was fantastically appointed and quite large. Service was quick, and courteous even though we arrived near midnight (kudos to the night attendant, the young man, who was quite prompt and accommodating). The location was a bit annoying to get to, but everything worked out fine. Breakfast was minimal, but serviceable.

Best thing about this place is the care of 2 employees, Nicole &’ Makayla. They care about the people that stay there rather than “having a job” …. The housekeepers were just the same. All around great hotel to be at. I was on the 3rd floor and that room was more than clean. Got to wear my white socks &’ didn’t have to bleach them.

Great price for a nice stay!!! We stayed 3 nights and had 2 rooms. 4 adults and 3 kids. Hotel was clean and felt safe. My kids and I absolutely loved the water slide! Close to I90 and plenty of stores and restaurants real close. We'd definitely stay here again!

Love the outdoor fire pit and couches, the other hotel/inn we stayed at in rapid city had that as well. Rooms are updated and clean. Very nice tv. We wanted to make a last minute change when we checked in and they accommodated graciously. The breakfast wasn’t very good though. Only hotel we stayed in with no meat or hot eggs. The floor and serving table was filthy with syrup and other debris. The cleaner no showed I guess. The napkin holders were all sitting on a shelf instead of on the tables. The coffee was out so we asked if they were making more. A minute later someone came out and said it’s ready and to go get it. A lot of guests went up to get some but all the coffee canisters were empty. Now I know why when we were walking to the dining area a lot of guests were bringing food to their rooms, they went to brew their own coffee probably. Fitness room is nice though but again the floor was filled with sticky spilled sugary drink that no one cleaned.

Looked for a room last night at last minute, not realizing volleyball was in town. Got a king bed room, 320 to be exact. Which is HUGE for little ol me, was stoked to have a room though regardless. Being a housekeeper in my former life, I check rooms I stay in before setting my stuff down. And I was not disappointed. very clean room! My housekeeper Alissa did a great job! Feel bad for the massive wood floors, I would want my Swiffer! Bed and pillows super comfy and front desk is kind as ever. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

What a nice hotel! The online check in option is great, super easy and quick. Arrived at the hotel and all I had to do was grab the keys. The front desk staff was super informative and friendly! The room was very nice and neat. I love that they have linoleum floors! Breakfast was good! We will definitely stay again!

Loved the larger room to sleep my family of 6. Unfortunately the room was filthy. Above the bed on the ledge, was so dusty I could write my name in it. The pull out bed had a dirty paper towel in it and crumbs/nail clippings. Had to switch rooms. After situating ourselves in the second room (which was still very dusty) I took the kids down to the pool. Huge disappointment when we found out the slide was broke. After all, it was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. Would have been nice if they had a sign up front at checkin. Lastly, the continental breakfast was not open on time. It was about 15 minutes late by the time they got everything out. Made it hard for those of us that had to leave the hotel at a certain time. Disappointing.

We were on a bus tour. The rooms are very clean and comfortable but dark. Sheets are old and rough (“pills”). Area lights (head of bed, desk, bath) but no overhead. Biggest issue was the breakfast. Waffles and cereal, hard boiled eggs daily. Then sausage biscuits and gravy one day. Eggs and sausage the next. Period. Everything needs to be offered every day! One napkin holder way over by coffee and not by food. The staff was very kind and helpful. We needed a mask which they didn’t have so the front desk lady gave us hers from her car!

Staff at check in and out were amazing. Quick, efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. Room cleanliness did not meet expectations. Large bottles of shampoo and conditioner are in the shower for you to share with everyone who was before you, bathroom had nasty stains around the shower, toilet was loose, drain was clogged. Walls are paper thin so you can hear the next rooms conversation, or anyone in the hallway. The pool area should be condemned until it is cleaned. Stuff floating around in the hot tub, gunk so thick on the slide that people have scratched words in it, pool is foggy and gross, flooring pebbles stick to your feet. Needs a LOT of improvement 🤮

We have stayed here numerous times. Check in staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy. We did have an issue with the shower but it was resolved quickly. There is an indoor Waterpark where the kids can play. They were upgrading the ice machines on the 3rd floor which caused a minor inconvenience to us. Overall a good place to stay. We will be back again.

clean, friendly place to stay. can't give it all star's, because there was to many things that needed to be fixed in the room. it is called basic maintenance. how do I know I worked for Marriott as a room prevention maintenance. I would deep clean and fix everything that was wrong in the room. I only had time for 3 rooms a day. but a nice place to stay without braking the bank.

I honestly was enjoying my three-night stay at this particular property until it came time to check out. The king room was spacious enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. I had no issues with the heating/cooling unit, and the second floor was peaceful enough for me. The standard-hotel breakfast was tasty, satisfying and filling enough for me (scrambled eggs, sausage links, toast, yogurt, orange juice, etc.). The two front-desk staff members who assisted me prior to checkout were courteous, friendly, professional and respectful enough. Also, it is worth noting here that the property appeared to have been recently remodeled. Again, I had no issues until checking out with Nicole. I must add that I was 30 minutes late checking out, which I apologized for to both the housekeeping employee (who may have been the department supervisor) hovering outside the room door as I scrambled to throw all of my belongings together and Nicole, the front-desk employee on duty at checkout. Nicole was rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, unfriendly, discourteous and angry. Nicole apparently did not like the fact that I was unaware of the daily in-hotel specials listed on the information tent card provided upon checking in. She essentially berated me and told me that she had me "on camera" for talking with her, which made no sense to me.

Nice friendly helpful hotel staff. Good room but not very soundproofed. I could hear almost everything my neighbor next door was telling his companions. Good breakfast could use more hot items choices.

The good: great price, nice modern spacious rooms, comfy bed, and clean! The not so good: toilet broke the first night of our stay (luckily it was fixed the following day while we were out). The breakfast was the same for our entire stay-biscuits with sausage gravy, waffles, toast, jam, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Would have been nice to have some variety! People also had pets along on our stay and dogs were barking into the night. And lastly, the pool area was closed when we went to use the hot tub. Overall, an ok stay.

Beds were nice. Rooms cool and clean. Staff not so much. Check in was nice. Price we were quoted was almost 60 dollars more despite reservations. Staff told us to deal with it. Pool was crowded and dirty and no towels. Most of this is about staff indifference

Accommodating staff. Clean spacious room. Great fall pricing. Great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay again. The choices of the hot breakfast could be better. Enjoyed our 4 nights while we were touring and sightseeing.

Rooms were huge and very clean. Wood floors and an arched ceiling. Large sectional couch, huge mirrored closet. Hot tub was the hottest and bubbliest I have ever sat in. Great TV w premium channels. I was very surprised at how nice the hotel was.

Deluxe king room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly as well. The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is that the pool had so strong chlorine that our eyes were burning hours after we left. That and the breakfast. While everything they had was good there wasn't a ton of choices that the kids would eat. One cereal, pre-made omelets and sausage, and pancakes was pretty much it. Might be due to covid shortages or something. Would have liked a kids cereal choice, yogurt and bananas. But overall it was a good place and we would go back.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make my faimilied stay enjoyable. Newly renovated rooms, the pool was very nice, just had a little too much chlorine. It has a nice fire pit outside in front of the building, too. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to.

We got a deluxe king room and both slept great because the bed was so comfortable! We were really happy to find a pet friendly hotel with an affordable rate at the last minute. They also have a breakfast buffet which was good too. There is nothing about our stay that wasn't excellent!
