Oh my where to start. We was sited really fast and they bring the salsa and the chips which one was amazing and freshly made but beware the salsa was supper spicy. For everyone who doesn’t want spicy salsa there was a salsa bar from where you can choose whatever salsa you want witch was a nice addition to the restaurant and u don’t see it that often. I was really surprised the by the size of the portions. I ordered carne asada with enchiladas and oh boy the food tasted amazing. The beef was cooked to perfection and the enchilada tasted superb. I strongly recommend the avocado salsa. dont get fooled by others people comments and give it a try you wont be sorry. Oh and the prices was more then affordable!

Absolutely the BEST and most authentic Mexican restaurant we have been to in Rapid City. The fresh house made salsa is so good I would buy some just to take home! My husband had the beef chimichanga and beef taco combo & I had the grilled chicken tacos. Our food was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean with an inviting atmosphere. We will definitely be regulars at this restaurant!

I like the atmosphere and food looks good but sadly food was not good. i couldn't taste flavor. feel like need some seasoning.

Love the salsa bar! We had an awesome server, their drink selection is amazing, and the drinks were all delicious! My tacos rocked, and so did the chips and salsa! Will definitely be back.

Great food generous portions. Helpful friendly staff. Ask about the salsa bar our server didn’t mention it but we saw it on the way out so we didn’t get to try it.

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was highly impressed. Lane and Chase's customer service was excellent. They both had a great sense of humor and we never had to wonder where our waiters were. Each meal comes with a ton of food and it was so good. We sat outside and they had heaters on and a fire going and it was awesome. Thank you for a great experience!!!!

We had a fantastic dining experience! Our server, Cristian, provided excellent service attentive. The food was delicious, with generous portions, and we especially loved the dessert. A delightful evening overall!

DO NOT ORDER DOORDASH PICK UP FROM HERE. The restaurant communicated with DoorDash that my order would be ready for pick up at 6:37, I went to the restaurant at 6:45. Despite multiple conversations with staff, no one could tell me what was wrong with my order. There was 4 other DoorDashers waiting and were all experiencing the same issues. No one at the restaurant was offering any solutions and one of the staff seemed annoyed people kept asking for their orders. Finally at 7:50PM, I left.. Without my order. My order: a single order of Chicken Fajitas. That took over an hour and only to feel dismissed by the staff? I asked to see a manager for some clarity as to why a single order was taking so long and was told angrily by a male staff member, “there isn’t a manager here” as he walked away. I won’t be coming back and would advise management to take a look at their processes to ensure that any paying customer is treated with respect. It should be noted that this was a Sunday evening and while the restaurant was busy with dinner service, there were several open tables and the bar was occupied by only a few people so by no means would it be difficult for the kitchen to make an order of fajitas. They did not offer any solution, reimbursement, or have kindness for an unfortunate situation. It’s a shame because we came here on vacation a few months ago and it was wonderful. But their lack of regard for paying customers ordering take out, dismissive attitudes, waiting over an hour for a single order of food, and leaving without an order I PAID for simply should not happen. Please do better for your customers.

This is hands down the best Mexican food in the Rapid City area! Very authentic and consistently good food. We've never had a bad meal here Service is always great, clean, friendly staff.

Not good, seemed like everything that should of been hot was cold/room temp and everything that should of been cold was warm.. including alcoholic drinks. Hard dry rice & chicken. My enchiladas were slimy & very oily. Queso came out lukewarm.. just avoid.

Fantastic meal. We had fajita burrito and chicken tosada. The salsa bar is amazing. Be warned that all salsas are very hot! Ana is the best server, and everyone is very nice and eager to serve. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place to eat! No wait time to be seated. The food came out fast and hot! The portions are big so if you only eat small amounts, share food!! Friendly staff! Definitely a place we will be eating at regularly.

Right next to the hotel we were staying at so decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. Amazing food(huge portions), delicious drinks, great atmosphere and our waiter was fantastic! Highly recommend

Been trying to find a good Mexican place in Rapid and finally tried Puerto Vallarta. It was DELICIOUS. The drinks were great, and the food had tons of flavor and the portions were big. I would go back any day. Thank you!

Large sized platters and a great drink selection. The fajitas were really tasty and enchiladas were a good size for being made from corn tortillas. Tried the spicy pineapple margarita and would order it again!

Excellent all the way around. Great service, and the food was simply fantastic! I had the Barbacoa tacos, and my son had the Mojorra Fritas. The salsa with chips was of excellent flavor as well. Just go.

Good: food was good. Shrimp tacos and burritos. Bad: service. Waited 30+ minutes for food. Had to flag another waitress down for assistance. Gave credit card to waitress, waited another 10 minutes to pay. Spent 1.5 hours there for fairly expensive food. And the salsa was rationed like it was the last on the planet.

These folks in South Dakota know how to cook some Mexican food! Best Mexican food I've had in awhile! Cooks were singing in the back and whipping up some goodness. Chips were hot, queso was made from scratch and the salsa had a nice kick to it. Serving sizes were large for what you pay, the Mexican pizza is the best I've had! Service was quick and the waitress even gave us extra drinks before we were out. If I pass through here again, I will definitely stop by here again!

Absolutely amazing. The food came for my party of six super quickly. The waitress was attentive and my burrito was huge! We had a great time.

We were staying in town and saw the reviews on this place. They were definitely right! The food is delicious. The ground beef enchiladas and the horchata were too legit to quit. Salsa seemed freshly made and was nice and spicy. Even their cheesecake was yummy! The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and fast. Would definitely come back here.

Greeted at the front and taken to our table with menus. The waitress showed up and brought drinks. A few minutes later brought the food, plates were very hot. She asked if we needed anything else. I ordered Street Tacos with beef with rice & beans. The service was great, the place was clean, but the food has no flavor.
