This place serves the best salmon we've ever had. It's been a few weeks since we dinned here and we are still talking about it!! The service was fantastic. Our waiter was kind and helpful. We enjoyed our time on their outdoor deck.

Hands down amazing food and excellent service at this great restaurant. Would recommend it to anyone who is in the area. We had the backfisch and it is a lot in terms of flavors as well as quantity! And there's so much attention to detail in the service, it really stands out in comparison to the industry today. Also for anyone who is disabled, the restrooms are actually on the same level (speaking as someone who is recovering from foot fracture and couldn't get into any basement toilets when mobility was affected) and the women's restroom also has a baby station.

Just wow! Service is fast, professional and friendly, in other words very customer oriented. We got seated without reservation on a busy day and then they managed to rearranged tables so we could stay longer if we wished. Food is delicious, on of the best I ate. We took veggie burger and blackfish meal, both were super tasty. Dessert was nice as well. Interior is lovely and ambience is chill, even when full of people, doesn’t feel crowded. Highly recommend!

Review for das Köstlich in travemünde Location and Interior 9/10 The location was a bit hidden from the main walkway at the harbour, I reckon that it would be quite difficult to find just passing by. That said it was a nice quiet place with plenty of tables. The interior was modern and really nothing to complain about. The toilets and the restaurant were clean aswell. It would’ve been nice to have view on the water but that’s of course not always granted. Staff 10/10 The Staff was very professional and friendly at the same time. They seemed to have a good eye for when you would need them. The food was being prepared relatively fast and the drinks came just after being ordered. Food 9/10 The food was incredible, I had the salmon steak which was cooked to perfection, with it came potatoes and bacon. The waiter asked for a few preferences on the food which is of course pretty need. The food had food garnish that matched the food. All in all nothing to complain about, maybe you would wish for the food to be a little more exquisite but at the price point it’s excellent. Overall I’d give it a 9/10

The farmers breakfast was delicious. The service is good too. A bit pricey, but overall nice.

Such a wonderful place! The food is great, the service is even better! There was some confusion with my order and I was promptly offered a coffee on the house, absolutely lovely!

I like Das Köstlich, but not always. I have been here four times and only once was I really pleased. I had on this occasion a "special" (authentic Wiener schnitzel vom Kalb mit Bratkartoffeln). Dessert was mascarpone with fresh wild forest berries and candy floss! This was excellent and the service friendly and with bags of humor. Unfortunately, several months later, this has changed somewhat. Apparently, it is difficult to get good staff and this is unfortunate. Don't get me wrong, the staff were friendly and helpful, but seemed overworked. On three visits, the food was OK but ordinary. Sometimes it is great, on other occasions it is not up to par. When booking, you don't know what you are going to get. But I don't want to be too harsh and will say that the food, when a trifle expensive, is quite good regardless.

This restaurant was recommended to me, I wasn’t disappointed, everything was great, the food the atmosphere and the staff. I can highly recommend this restaurant but reserve a table.

The interior and atmosphere is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Our ordered dishes were very tasty and the recommended dessert was just like heaven :) Location is perfect. E.g. when you're coming to Travemünde as a day trip, you just need to walk straight towards the walking area at the beach front. Booking is necessary because the restaurant is not that spacious. Otherwise you have to queue.
