Ratlam has become a satellite town adjoining Indore and Bhopal. It is serving as a town that is at a manageable distance from these places, both by train and bus. The place is modest as regards the scale of living, with conditions that are facilitating for residents. The climate is fairly congenial. Situated atop the Malwa Plateau, Ratlam promises to be a place worth living.

Beautiful city. People are humble and helpful. We are a bit old fashioned and it means that we respect our elders and help others around us whenever required. I am writing this review in 2021 and in current time the city of Ratlam is a paradise for those who enjoy small things and are happy with what they have. Roads are tricky here but you will get used to them after a while. We have a beautiful market where you can get everything that you need. There are a lot of small shops in every colony and shopping malls like D-mart, Vishal mega Mart, Reliance shopping mall. There are a lot of temples, mosques, churches and gurudwaras so you will always find your favourite place of worship. There are a lot of hotels to stay like OYO properties on Do-batti and many other locations. Our food contains the taste of our ancient tradition and you can get Malavi, Rajasthani and Gujarati variety of cuisines which are our speciality since we share borders with rajasthan and gujrat is also very close. Life in Ratlam is slow and peaceful. You can enjoy nature and breathe fresh air. The water is pollution free and the fruits and vegetables are organic. For me, this is a place to get a quantum of solace.
