This place is a symbol of the villa with traditional 18th century architecture. There is a huge dining table made of huge single plank of Artocarpus nobilis or the Ceylon breadfruit tree. The walawwa is the residence of Dr. S.U. Deraniyagala former director of the department of archaeology.
