This is the main play ground in Ratnapura town Maintain by Ratnapura minicipal Council, one side boundary to river side road Ganga addara para which is on the bank of kaluganga River. It has large pavilion on river side road. infront of ratnapura minicipal Council, other boundaries are demuwawatha road and lorry park I have heard that this ground and mudduwa ground situated other side of river, monarawila play ground all are belonged to golf club all days those ground are golf ⛳ ground

Its in the in front of the rathnapura nolimit branch. You can see the sivali ground still in the main road

The biggest and major ground in Ratnapura city with convenient access from Main Street, and parking, also close to major bus stop (long distance buses stop here officially. Available for sports and exercising . Maintained by Ratnapura Municipal Council. One unique thing is being very closer to the river Kalu, this ground gets flooded few times a year. One of the ground is next to Riverside road and there you have access to more parking and restaurant.

Situated very close to town Large ground can be book from Ratnapura municipal council office If there is no events can play criket football or run. In Ratnapura there is no jogging pathway. Unfortunately this ground affected by Kalu ganga flood. These days kids fly kites from here.

Best placed in the center of the town with much negligence. Poorly maintained field. Pavilion and other facilities need upgrade to match current needs. Toilets facilities are very poor.

It is a beautiful playground located in the heart of Ratnapura. Front and rear parking is provided and in some cases a charge is made. Most people who live around the city use this playground to exercise in the evening and in the morning and it is maintained by the city council. A busy day with family is a great place to exercise and play.
