Pretty huge and beautiful area. Though the swimming pool is smaller. Only few people could enjoy at a time. Management should focus on customer's disciplinary, as there were many people in the bar drinking alcohol without shirts. This'll make few people feel uncomfortable.

We visited with our 20 visitors on 29th Jan 2023. Poor food was offered ! Rs 3000 & 400 additionally charged for outside brought bite & soda! It's daylight robbery ! We will never visit this place again. We regret visiting this place without knowing the actual position. This why visitors not coming ! Let the world know the real facts.

I recently had a family stay at Lake Serenity Resort in April for Bed and Breakfast. The hotel has a large garden with ample space and a beautiful lake that is home to various bird species. Additionally, there is a tea estate on the premises, which is a unique feature that sets this hotel apart from others in Sri Lanka . The garden and pool are well-maintained, which was a great highlight of our stay. However, the buildings themselves are in need of refurbishment, and the bathrooms are quite poor compared to the room. The kids play area is also rusty and dangerous for kids to play. Despite the nice room view, the management of the hotel could be improved. The hotel management is rigid and not flexible to client needs, which was frustrating to experience. Additionally, I was disappointed that they charged for kids' meals during our stay, which was not something we had encountered at other resorts in the country. Furthermore, the checking in and out times were very strict and not flexible, unlike other hotels we have visited. While the resort has great resources in terms of location, the overall management could be improved to make it more competitive with other top resorts. Food variety could also be improved to cater to the diverse tastes of guests. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, but there is definitely room for improvement. With some refurbishment, improved management, and better food options, this hotel has the potential to be a top-tier resort in the area

Would not recommend to any. They don’t know how to treat guests. This is terrible. No hospitality at all. Especifically, their manager doesn't know any discipline. She showed her bad behaviors, at least she doesn't know how to speak to guests politely.This is a mess. Never consider booking this place!

It's a great place to spend the day because it's conveniently placed and roomy. A boat ride and a swim in the pool add to the experience. The staff is pleasant. A lovely picturesque spot to unwind from the daily grind. There is a children's play area. There is also a pool for children. There are various beautiful sites for photo shoots.

Went there with my husband in August and had a great experience! Staff was friendly and we got treated like royalty. They have spacious cabanas/rooms with AC. Love their interior! We had talked to the manager before making the reservation that time. The second time I went there with the whole family to spend the day. We were just 7 normies trying to have a good time as a family. Their day out package is for using the pool and having a buffet lunch+tea at the hotel and it's from 9am to 5pm. We also booked a room separately. We got there at around 10 and checked in to the room. At around 12 noon, a manager came to us and told us that a buffet cannot be arranged because there are a limited number of people. We agreed because that makes sense. He offered to give us a couple of dishes and made it sound as if he's throwing in the jelly dessert as a favor to us 😂. We still didn't care because we weren't there for the food. Another hour later, we got told that they can't arrange the meal at the restaurant because it's being decorated for a wedding that was supposed to happen the next day. At around 1:30 pm, we were told that the meals are getting delayed by another hour. They didn't seem to be trained in customer service. It was clear they were pushing us around because we were locals and because we weren't regulars. We had not even gotten into the pool by then, because we wanted to do it after lunch. We wanted to spend some time in the pool, and there weren't many other guests at the hotel that day. So we asked whether we could get the checkout time pushed by an hour. They said no. Afternoon tea was the same. We were tired of the way they treated us, so all of us wanted to leave before 5pm without having tea. And we checked whether we could get one tea sent to us at 5 because my dad wanted one. The people who refused our late checkout request and insisted that we leave at 5, then said that the tea won't be ready till 5:30pm. When settling the bills, we talked to the front desk manager about everything and she blamed everything on the wedding which was supposed to happen there the next day. It was such a hassle having to complain when we had not even spent 24 hours at a hotel. Not to mention the time and energy spent on writing this long negative review. The staff could benefit from learning to treat everyone the same, but their pool is always very clean and well-kept. They have a lake, one paddle boat, and the hotel grounds are massive so there's plenty of privacy. Their rooms are also clean, and spacious, and could be even called great relative to the other options in the area. So if you still want to go there do it, but make sure they know that you got $$.

Calm and quiet place to spend the day. Can use pool by spending 750 plus service charge for adults and 500 for kids. Even they have day-out packages which include variety of activities and food for 2500 per person. the most Friendly and supportive staff.

When I was searching good place to visit day time with family I found this place. We were adults 10 and 1 kid. The day visit price was included few extra activities along with lunch and evening tea. We had to get one room for our entitle family since if we don’t have more than 20pax they will allow to give free room. Room is very big and pool is very nice and clean. Food is very delicious. Specially thanks for Chiran who has communicated with me for booking and also management to allow to fly my drone and took nice pic of this place. I absolutely recommend this place

Amazing experience !!! Quality food and great service. Staff is incredibly proactive and delivered world class service. Best Value for money hotel I have ever been. Rooms are clean and has an amazing view with a balcony. I Would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a amazing holiday. Looking forward for the next time!!!

Would not recommend to any.The most terrible place ever visited. Road is very difficult to travel. Manager (Achini) made our day so unpleasant with her un-polited behavior. Should learn how to respect people.Not suitable for such a managerial post. No hospitality at all. Better she go and follow a hospitality course and then re join the field. Staff is not aware of treating their guests. They ask their guests to move stuff here and there instead they doing it for he guests. Don’t think of booking this dirty place. Changing rooms are awful. may be this place is about to go bankruptcy highly irritating. Recommend you al to have visits to other hotels and learn how they treat .there are better place at ratnapura other than this place at our convenience. Never Visit this place. It’s a waste of time and money.

One of the calmest and natural well built places I have ever visited. The lake has Soo many fish and birds for you to enjoy. And you can take swan rides thru the lake. There is a golf cart where you can take rides ok as well. Filled with green wherever you look. I think it's planned for a long time to get this nature look and feel. Spacious parking spaces. You can drive to many places and park your vehicles. Such a relaxing and cool place. Specially for couples or a family who love a small picnic. The road to the hotel is also well maintained and you can go there with any vehicle. Try it out. One of the best places for the people who love nature.

The terrible place ever. Would not recommend for anyone. Food is dull. They even don’t know how to cook just even basic food items. The lady in front office made our day horrible with her unpleasant behavior. Cant even recommend one out of five.

Very unprofessional service.they even dont know there job..specially the receptionist. When we called they said we can use the pool.but once we go there ,they told that some chemicals were added to pool and we have wait 2-3 hrs.how irresponsible people they are. Never recommended to any one.

We went for a day out. Very nice location and offered great service by the staff. Foods in the package was not upto standard. Package included nasi goreng with crispy chicken but we were offiered samba fried rice and fried chicken and evening snack is a smal plain rotis with "lunu miris" and a tea

This is an amazing place to rest in Sri Lanka. The food and beverages are of a very high standard. And there's a big food range, from village food to Chinese and Thai foods. The rooms are also very clean, and all materials are included. There's a huge garden and more places to play and enjoy. This is a very peaceful place to visit. highly recommend.

Group of thieves are working there. They are robbing money from Guests in several ways. Such as giving horrible foods, acting mini bar drama, charging separately for electricity, charging AC room cost without AC, charging even for ice cubes. Please never visit this place & not recommended for any purpose.

The worst experience ever. Food is dull. From the welcome drink to the evening tea, there was no taste at all. Rooms were not up to standard especially bathrooms. No proper drainage system and good hygiene. The staff doesn’t know how to be professional and behave professionally with the customers. Especially the lady at the front office. So would not recommend anyone to visit this place.

A beautifully landscaped resort. The rooms are clean and you have everything you need. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Perfectly trained. We were really spoiled. The food is delicious and everything is freshly made. Very rich. We would come again.

Food is dull. Not good at all. They promised for a buffet lunch when booking, but it was just a set menu and it's terrible. The washrooms doesn't even have a shower to use after using the pool. You may have to pay for a changing room. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Highly Recommended. Peacefull place. Try visiting in a weekday. Rooms are superb. Vibe is so natural. Acres of land belongs to the resort. Can have calm walks, ride bicycles or ride boats on their private lake. Food is super delicious and madeof organic vegetables grown in land. Pool is a bit small but ok. Service is professional and food portions are great. Worth the money. 10-10

The food does not taste good. No dessert. Just ice cream and jelly. They also take money for drinking water. The worst hotel we've ever been to. But its employees are good. He gave us a kind service.

We stayed at the Lake Serenity Boutique hotel on 1st January 2022 We were warmly welcomed by the staff. They were incredibly helpful & the amenties were great. Foods was amazing & everything we needed was in order. Rooms are spotless & comfortable. Enjoyed a day with best facilities. There were also outdoor activities that we could participate. Lovely hotel in an excellent location. We will definitely recommend this place with heartfilled of love & care.❤️🥰❤️🥰

Very supportive staff. I were there as a guest of a wedding of that day , I asked a help from the front desk and they came forward happily though they could have refuse it easily. I am impressed on the customer service of both front desk officers who gave the support to their maximum and I am delighted on their service , attitudes . Thanks Mr.Udara & Ms.Dilini . Situated in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. Organic meals, green surroundings, luxury of the pool and Friendly staff. Highly recommended if you want spend time with your family and friends. They made a special සිංහල and හින්දු new year special for guest and staff. Will defenetely come back.
