We went for a spend the day at this location. The package including welcome drink, pool and all the facilities, lunch buffet and evening tea was 1850/=. The food and everything was perfect for the price and the staff was friendly and there services was good. It was a chilled relaxed environment.

I think room 104 got the best view and very romantic vibe that wasn't there is other rooms as they were different compared to the small wooden cottage. The mattresses needs an upgrade. Bit of a ride. I personally don't think it's worth for a day use. Good place to enjoy with friends.

A great place to have some quality time with friends or family. Nice and clean environment. Prices are fair and service is great. The lunch buffet is great and food is taste. There are facilities to play cricket, badminton and billiards. There are two swimming pools and enough parking spaces. Highly recommend place.

Went to this for a day trip with family and relatives . Good place and stay was relax by the pool . If someone is looking for food it’s not a place for it . The place is maintained ok but garbage accumulation over the generator room and the pool is not a good sign in the long run for cleanliness and from environmental perspective If the management see this comment appreciate if they can take action for it

A very nice place to spend the leisure time. Within close proximity of Colombo town. Rooms are spacious and are located in different environments within one property. Food is not too luxurious but good. Two swimming pools, both are well maintained. A good place to have a get-togethers and spend a leisure weekend.

We spent a day out at Serenity Village with relatives. We were warmly given a welcome drink when we first arrived. The lunch buffet was also reasonably priced and had a good selection of Sri Lankan food. There is an okay cricket ground, which is netted on four sides, where we are able to have some fun. The swimming pool also has some nice views of the surrounding tea plantations, so you can take some nice photos there.

It's a good place for day-outs.. got some breathtaking views and landscaping is nice. Ideal escape place from busy noisy city life. Thy had two pools both with amazing view. Food was average but worth the price.. Had a good spread for lunch. Cons: Extremely crowded and noisy during weekends.

View of mountain are rellay nice. Also location is good to Spend the day. Food - taste is average. But good thing is they fill all the menu items till 3.30 pm. All the time food is available. Pool - not a big one but enjoyable. They have 3 pools. One is Natural pool.

My family had a memorable experience at Serenity Village hotel. We visited this lovely hotel last weekend and stayed one night. From start to end , everything was just perfect. Very friendly staff from bottom to top. Food is excellent. Very spacious rooms. Location is like a different world. Dip in the swimming pool and looking at the beautiful mountain range is a great moment. Water streams, lush green tea plantation, birds almost it is a paradise. You must feel the difference. Serenity Village is not actually a hotel but a paradise which goes with the natures blessings.

We stayed 2 nights at hotel. It was a very nice, quite setting surrounded by the nature. Staff and the food were one of the best we had in our trip.

It was situated in a wonderful location. Also it is 1.5h to Colombo. Very spacious and well-maintained. Good service with excellent food. May be a basic buffet, but the taste is the best. Has two pools and both are very good.

Best place for a day outings. Beautiful surroundings. They offer outdoor activities like paintball as a value added service. Paintball experience is super awesome. Worth the price you paid. Highly recommended for office day outings. Foods are somewhat tasty. Evening snack was super amazing 🤩.

It was an amazing place and easy to find route. Rooms and services really well. Foods were delicious. Specially staff members are very supportive and give their maximum service. We can recommend this place to anyone who love nature and beauty of environment 😍😍😍

A little off the main route, yet easy to find using Google Maps. There are lots of parking places on-site. The staff was quite polite. The food was delicious. There were a few safety concerns identified. The steps in the welcome area are extremely steep, and children and the elderly must exercise extreme caution. The toilets are on the lower level, which is another issue for the elderly, as is the eating room, which is on a very high level and requires a hard ascent. Another issue was charging extra for pool use for every guest, even if they did not use it. There are no lifeguards or towels available.

More than 40 adults went for a dayout experience. We asked for 10 liquor glasses. But they gave us beer glasses. Maybe there is no liquor glasses here. The chicken and fish stew had no flavor. There was only sauce. Fish and chicken maybe frozen for several days. The food is not tasty. A place that is not worth for money paid. Oh one more thing, no signal for cell phones. No data service. Separate wifi packages need to buy from them.

My daughter and her friends went there two days ago for a day out. They lost their two bags and found them in mens commodes in the washroom without bank cards . Staff didn’t take any responsibility & not even a word of "Sorry". Only wanted settlement of the bills. Zero security. Zero customer care. Our team faced physically & mentally harassment by the staff . Zero Management behaviors & attitudes. Its a 100 % bad experience.

Stunning place with a beautiful nature .and a ffriendly staff.. Place was like a travel peak point when we got on top.of the mountain. And the day was fulfilled with perfect activities and superb food and service . And had nothing to worried about the safety.

I would give 10/10 for Location and how wonderfully it's maintained. Serving Staff needs to be a lot more disciplined and trained in customer service since that's no where near acceptable. Food is pretty bad imo and we ended up drinking gallons of water along the way back. Portions were big but it didn't matter since it was tasteless. Such a beautiful hotel and it was sad to have those flaws experienced. I hope the management would look into these and rectify. Has the potential to be a top tourist attraction if played right.

On Christmas day we went for a day outing at this place. It's in close proximity to Colombo and gave us a feeling of being in upcountry as it was a rainy day. Nicely landscaped property utilising the terrain with good greenery. Property has two swimming pools, playground, badminton area and plenty of huts with good seating. Staff are very courteous and pleasant. Place seems to be getting old and some good maintenance is needed especially for toilets and rooms. Food was good for the price we had paid. Kids enjoyed every bit of the day.

Corporate event for families were held there on a Saturday. Excellent staff service but food was not that great though. Suitable for quite getaway too. Simple and clean rooms. Pool facilities were also available.

We came to this hotel just to get rid of the busy and tiring life and to relax our minds. Coming to our Serenity village gave us great pleasure and peace with real serenity experience. A friend of mine told me that the selected meal plan for full board package not up to the mark. Hence, we booked a room with bread and breakfast basis. However, you can not expect expensive food from these types of budget hotels. We ordered delicious food from the food menus they provided. I recommend their seafood fried fried rice. Just for Rs. 650 there was an unexpected amount of seafood portion which cannot expect some of famous and recognized restaurants in Colombo and suburbs. Therefore, I recommend you'll to book this hotel on bread and breakfast basis and order from the menu according to your appetite. They provide separate cabin-like rooms with all amenities. Rooms are very spacious and better than some of the famous 3 class hotels. Also, this hotel has 2 pools. One is an infinite pool and the other is a natural pool. It also has a playground, a pool table and a badminton court as well. Of course this idea would not be complete if I were not talk little bit about the caretaker Mr Shiva. He was very supportive to us. Last but not least the atmosphere. It was really admirable. We thought we were in paradise. Overall it was a great experience.

There were both positives and negatives. Positives first. We went for a family stay to get some peace and calm over a weekend. It is a very nice place situated close to Colombo but once you are there you get the feeling that you are somewhere in Central province minus the cold climate. Very beautiful surroundings and if you are looking for serenity, you will find it there. We were in rooms 107 and 108, there were no disturbances from other guests. Rooms were very nicely built with excellent views. Food was of reasonable quality but not great. However adequate for the sum paid. Negatives 1. We were told that the dinner and breakfast will be served to the room and the dinner arrived at around 8.15pm. However the waiter didn't come to clear away the leftovers. When asked he said he's off at 9 and the dishes will be cleared away in the morning. Once we insisted that we couldn't sleep with leftover food next to the beds the waiter came wearing a short and cleared it away. The next morning also, leftovers were not cleared away until we checked out at 12. 2. We were told that a portion of food was adequate for two and they sort of tried to force two people to order the same thing which was very unprofessional and bad. After we insisted that it can not be done and asked them to reduce the portion size they did give us what we ordered. ( Apart from those unprofessional acts mentioned above the guy serving us was friendly and alright) 3. Hot water supply was a joke ( meaning totally unusable) but thought no point in bothering to complain since we didn't think it would amount to anything. Nice bathrooms but had an ant and insect problem . Not too much trouble though. All in all I gave 4 stars because we did spend a relaxing weekend there despite some setbacks.
