Friendly hotel with lots of 1930s character. The lift is very unusual where you open a door to get in and out! The bed could have been more comfortable but other than that the room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was well stocked with good options.

Asiallinen ja tyylikäs hotelli. Huoneet siistit, toki aika näkyi huoneissa mutta kumminkin perus hyvässä kunnossa. Kylppäri todella siisti. Sängyt perus ok. Aamupala runsas ja hyvä. Auton sai parkkiin hotellin takapihalle, josta suora kulku hotellille myös. Kokonaisuutena hyvä hinta-laatusuhde.

Oikein siisti rakennus ja huone 5 krs., saapuessa ilma oli hiukan seisahtunut, mutta tuulettui nopeasti ilmastoinnin avulla. Ystävällinen palvelu ja hyvä sijainti. Ilmaiset jopot lainaan 👍👍👍 ainoa miinus oli viereisen ravintolan (Mr Jones) aamupala.

Yökerhosta kuulunut musiikki häiritsi nukkumista. Huonosti siivottu huone.

Positive surprise for the money. Clean and enough equipped rooms with aircon. Staff was super nice and breakfast was also quite all right!

Good value for money. However bed is much too soft and breakfast quality needs certain improvements. The scrambled egg looks and tastes very artificial.....

Kiva vanha hotelli, joka päivitetty lähivuosina. Normihuone aika pieni, kannattaa maksaa vähän ja ottaa isompi, jos löytyy.

Hotelli oli hieno, mutta ymmärrettävästi vanha. Palvelu oli mukavaa ja sujuvaa. Sijainti oli erittäin hyvä. Aamupala oli myös hyvä.

Perus siisti hotelli. Suihkusta ei meinannut saada tasalämpöistä vettä, sekä iltaisin henkilökunta ystävineen vie aulan istumapaikat.

Asiakaspalvelussa toivomisen varaa. Aamiaisen tuotteet kylmiä, nakit,munakas ja pekoni, menimme aamiaisella heti avaamisen jälkeen. Petyin tosi paljon.

Rauhallinen huone kuutos- kerroksessa. Aamupala aika vaatimaton 17 euron hintaan.

Clean but small rooms, no pressure in the shower, the bathroom is really tiny, decent breakfast. Excellent location.

Super friendly staff, very helpful. The double regular room was really small (too small), the superior version was very big, with even a little finnish sauna inside the bathroom. Breakfast was not the best I've experienced, but ok.

We came unannounced. They were only able to offer us a room at their lower class building next door, which was not so nice but ok. Breakfast was great. We paid 105.- Euros for 1 night/2 people incl. breakfast!

Stayed here for 1.5 weeks on vacation visiting my boyfriend who was working nearby. Very centrally located and easy to get around to any part of town by foot. As a traveler who speaks very little Finnish, I found most of the front desk staff to be very fluent in English and helpful in recommendations for anything we needed. The hotel is very European in style and accommodations. Clean and mostly compact rooms. Certain services which US travelers may be accustomed to are not available. Daily attendance to the rooms is minimal bed-making and towel exchange rather than vacuuming and full cleaning of bathrooms. If you are traveling here for an extended period of time for work, as with most European hotels, there are no washer/dryer facilities. There are no laundromats in the area so the only option is the dry cleaning through the hotel. It is VERY expensive, a week of laundry was over $115 USD. Take this into account if you need to pack many weeks of clothing. It is cheaper to buy a new pair of socks than having them washed. This was a surprise that would be good to know if you need to negotiate this into per diem or allowances from your employer. A nice morning buffet in the adjoining restaurant has something for everyone. I do highly recommend staying here for the great central location. City is beautiful and extremely safe even when walking alone. Probably the safest city I have ever visited.

I can not recommend. We took the most expensive room, expecting at least some basic standards like air conditioning when there's +30°C outside but no. We went to complain and they told us that some rooms do have air conditioning but just not the one that was given to us although the price we paid was the same. We asked for a compensation and the worker said that she'll contact the hotel manager in the morning. In the morning they told us that they'll give us a laughable compensation of 10%. It has been almost a month now and the compensation is yet to be seen. They like to advertise that the hotel is newly renovated but the interiors were still quite ugly. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

More than I expected. I found the cheapest offer for one person and did not expect such a nice and friendly customer service. Hotel included sauna and a breakfast. The room is very clean and quite large for just one person. It had a good desk with multiple electrical outlets so it was easy to work on my portfolio assignment during my stay. Hotel included free parking as well. For this price I'd give the place more than 5 stars if I could. I am very happy with my experience. Central location is great as well. I also previously stayed in their cheaper side building, where the room was smaller, older and did not include its own bathroom, which was mentioned of course. The hotel was being renovated back then and breakfast was offered in another hotel nearby. I still liked it very much, good price, nice sauna, free parking and a good breakfast. I am however rather easy to please and I don't like throwing my towels on the floor or receive other luxurious but wasteful treatment. I also stayed at winter during both times so I had no need for AC, that being said the room was warm and cozy. Everything that was advertised was in included.
