Wonderful museum where you can look at the camping process and there is also something for the kids. Five stations where you can dress up and take pictures that can be taken home as a souvenir postcard for three euros. Could be a little cheaper, but okay☺two campers were specially designed so that kids can climb and slide in them. And we had super nice staff who were all pretty balanced, thank you for that 🤗 All in all it was a successful trip 👍thank you for that

It takes a lot of time and patience to get into the museum. Museum opens at 10 a.m. The gates to the museum entrance will not open until 10:05 a.m. Purchasing tickets takes a long time, either it's the system or the staff is poorly trained. The museum is entertaining, but the entrance fee of €14 for adults feels €5-6 too expensive. Parking spaces are free and plentiful.

It is an amazing experience in a place where one can find a lot of information about the history of caravans and campers in Germany and even more. There you can see the newest Hymer camper that is very impressive. The exhibits are interesting and enchanting. You can get an iPod with explanations in English. I enjoyed every minute and we spent there more than two hours. Price is 11 euros per person but there are discounts and for journalists is free of charge. There are also very nice souvenirs at shop.

Very interesting, even if you're not a camper. The technology and the possibilities of the inventors were very interesting. We found the entrance fee at 14 euros to be completely ok. You are in the museum for about 1-2 hours. So it's definitely worth it if you're in the corner

There is a lot to see for children and adults. Old cars and lots of caravans. Admission is not overpriced at 14 euros and children are free. If you like camping, the museum is the right place for you. There are more than enough parking spaces. Small playground in front of the door. There is also a restaurant. Everything recommended.

A wonderful museum in which you can spend a few hours. If you read and look at everything carefully, one day probably won't be enough. Very beautiful exhibits that are lovingly decorated and in top condition. What particularly struck me was the very friendly welcome from the ladies at the cash desk. The crowning finale was a delicious meal in the Caravano Restaurant. The homemade Maultaschen were a poem. Thank you very much, I'll be back.

Very interesting place to visit if you are near Munich and are into leisure vehicles and their evolution. You cannot bring dogs inside but they would mind them for you at the reception if well behaved. The food was also very nice (try the lemonade)

Exciting museum also for “non-campers”. Interesting facts about the topic of “travel” are conveyed. Other manufacturers and in particular the camping history of the GDR are not neglected either. Modern structure and easily accessible with free parking.

A great museum with a long camping history. There are so many models on display here that viewing them is really fun. There is a lot to discover here, from roof tents to folding caravans and caravans. The staff is very friendly and you can eat delicious food in the bistro. The price-performance ratio, in the museum and in the bistro, is really top! Highly recommended!😉👍

What a fantastic place. First as we are in a Mobile Home we could stay on site overnight. We went into the museum when it opened at 10am, the gentleman on the counter spoke english and showed us how to download the app so we could check out all the displays in English. Once inside ‘wow’ amazing displays and set ups, showing the history of caravanning and motorhoming. So glad we made the effort to see this museum. For those with children there are also areas to keep children occupied and I can imagine for hours.

A bit expensive for what there is to discover....no translations....passable for those who want to be a museum 😔

Always nice here. Feel free to come here. Modern museum, there is something for young and old. There are lots of hands-on stations, there are two mobile homes for the kids to play in and a great playground outside. The photo boxes where you can take creative photos are always a great highlight.

We found 14 € for a fairly well-arranged museum a bit too much. For camping fans perhaps a look into the history and development of camping vehicles. Parking is free and there is a restaurant on site, the selection and quality are good.

What a fun place to visit! This is the realization of a man's dream and it's just fascinating. Really nice little cafe inside, also, which was very good. DEFINITELY worth a stop and well worth the $11pp or so to get in!

We came here all the way from Zurich Switzerland and enjoyed it very much. It’s great they thought of little kids 2-3 years of age - our son thoroughly enjoyed the climbing-playing campers and the colored roads to follow. The restaurant and changing room were perfectly clean and food and coffee both good, service and personal very very kind, the vans and campers awesome. Overall a great experience and we will definitely come again. Thank you!

Fantastic museum showing the history of Caravanning and motor homing. Gave knocked off a star, because the disabled parking spaces and no ramp for wheelchair nearby. Only steps, so had to walk the roadway around to the entrance.

Good selection of caravans from the past, set out in themed areas. Was given an iPod for translation of display panels, but gave on it after first themed area.
