(Translated by Google) A very well located hotel, between the beach and lush nature, a stone's throw from the airport (really really), with restaurants and snack bars nearby. The bungalows have everything you need, respecting the environment. Special mention for the team, which makes this place very warm!

(Translated by Google) 12 nights at the end of October at the Ravoraha ecolodge with my children. Housed in the cabin on the beach, a work of art that blends into the vegetation and offers a splendid view of the ocean. Very warm, caring and efficient team. Small establishment that gives the impression of being at home. Located in the heart of the fishing village, 5 min walk from the airport and 10 min from Ile aux Nattes. Great stay!

Nature is quite good on this island. Access from Toamasina by car and ferry quite tiring. Need to stay longer to enjoy the time here. The resort is nice

This place was a great introduction to our stay in Sainte Marie! Located 5 minutes walking distance from the airport, with an access to the beach, great drinks, delicious breakfast, we had all at our fingertips! We felt immediately welcome and loved our tree house! Even my boyfriend was is not such a sea maniac as I am, loved waking up to the sound of waves! Definitely a worthwhile stop!

A wonderful start to our holiday in Sainte Marie. The tree house was comfortable, clean and spacious. We loved the outdoor hammock that overlooks the beach. Amazing views, friendly staff and great food. The pool was great too.

What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful bungalow, right on the beach. Perfect for sunsets. Food is excellent in the restaurant, we didn't bother going anywhere else, which we would always usually do. Staff helpful. Drinks are more expensive than elsewhere in Madagascar, but hardly worth complaining about at €2 for a beer. It's so nice that I didn't even mind engaging in chemical warfare with the giant cockroaches that invaded our bathroom one night. This is not the hotel's fault, though I think they could pre-spray the areas of the roof where they can get in, which I found to be effective the next night (the hotel provides spray in the rooms). No electricity from 6-8am which is inconvenient, but again not their fault.

We have stayed at Ecolodge Ravoraha for 12 days and brought back lots of great memories with us. All staff were friendly, the facilities are clean, the garden is well manicured, food was delicious and the hotel is very safe. They have 24 hour security and we left our cabin unlocked with no problem. You must book all your tours at the resort and speak to Sophie or manager for reservation. You pay them after when you check out and surely the tours you will enjoy. Although we had language barrier but we laughed together and communicated well. Definitely the resort you should stay at if you'd like to reconnect with your spouse, life and learn about culture. They taught us the beauty of life and surely we are coming back to Ecolodge Ravoraha and recommend to our clients, friends and family in Canada.

During our whole trip in Madagascar, this was our only negative bump. While Sophie's bungalow are very nice, her personnel has very bad attitude. We stayed there 4 nights and after the first night we requested to pay for our dinning. We were declined our bill, we were told we would pay when we checked out. We did not like it, but didn't fight it, which was big mistake! It turns out, we were given wrong information regarding cost of our breakfast. And we ended up paying 4 times more for breakfast that we we were told the cost was! That was extreme shock for us!!! If we got our bill when we requested it, we would NEVER eat breakfast there! We believe stuff is trained to give you price in local currency without the 3 zeros or euros, whichever number is lower! Dinner prices are listed in daily menu board in local currency (which are by the way ridiculously high and portions are small!!!), so that wasn't confusing, only disappointing. Expect to pay for breakfast and dinner twice more you would pay in USA! And if you don't eat 3 times a day, stuff is no longer nice to you. Of course you have option to dine outside of your hotel, which we should have done from the beginning. Other negative experience occurred to us on third night between 12-1:00 at night. We woke up to the sound of someone trying to open our bungalow! Very scary moment!!! Luckily we were locked and person behind the door gave up, when realizing doors were locked. We must say we have seen night guard there and still this happens! After all, this place would be a nice place for us, if we didn't experience misleading in costs from Sophie and her personnel and someone trying to break in in the middle of the night.

Nice hotel with a great atmosphere and very friendly service. The location is great to take a boat for wale watching or to go diving with the dive center next door. Compared to other places the price is maybe a bit higher.

👍👍 We loved this place! You can watch whales from your porch or breakfast table! The food was delicious, staff friendly and rooms comfortable. Walks around the island are great as there are no motorised vehicles. A wonderful spot to slow down and enjoy the beauty of nature.
