A very nice temple to pray and the is beautiful as well. However there is nothing nice or beautiful about the management. The person who answers the phone sounds like he is forced to work without any pay. Very disgruntled management. The only reason I gave a 5 star rating is so tht this comment stays at the top. If you go to this temple and just pray to the Gods without any contact with the temple management then your sanity will prevail.

Temple visit is a spiritual experience that makes a person better🙏Doubt is the first step in acquiring wisdom.Look after your body carefully. Your body is a temple because God resides in it. Silence purifies our thoughts. Temples bring you closer to God.🙏😇

Attended a wedding. Such a cranky management team spoiling the entire wedding vibes. One of the gurukal even scolded a lady who was trying to attend to a special need kid who was running around the temple. What a bad experience overall! Sometimes people have the attitude thinking they are above all! Don't deserve any stars at all.

Sivan Temple In Bangsar This temple was built in the 1903 by Malayan Railway Employees. This well designed and beautiful Hindu temple attracts devotees from different parts of the city especially during festive occasions of the Hindus. There were plans of demolishing the temple in the year to make way for new developments in that area however perseverance from several devotees as well as minister at that time finally led to the cancellation of the demolition plans. The temple has also undergone some renovations and highly regarded and respected for being an extremely famous Shiva temple of Kuala Lumpur..Finally after 30 years of waiting, the 100 year old Arulmigu Sri Ramalingeswarar temple in Jalan Maarof, Bangsar got its approval letter. The gazette approval letter was handed over to the temple's committee in January 2012 by the Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin during a special consecretion ceremony (kumbhabhishegam) at the temple. The land has been gazetted for temple use and will be run by the temple committee members To be the only temple in the world, (outside India) where one is able to witness the yearly Chariot Procession for the 63 Saivite Saints (Nayanmars), The temple is famous for Pradosha Maha Shivaratri Vasantha Navratri Guru Peryarchi Navratri Skantha Shasti

DO NOT DO YOUR EVENTS HERE! We did our engagement here, and it started raining very heavily, and the dining area was leaking with water everywhere! The management did nothing until we had to tell them to mop the area only then they mopped the place and left buckets lying around! During a major event which we paid for. Looked really bad from our end as the host - this temple is a lovely place but please don't just take our money and do nothing to maintain the temple.

A perfect place for daily worship and meditation. Beautiful and powerful temple. Parking is quite a challenge as one has to park by the roadside.

A good nice environment temple. I hope it keeps temple toilets clean a bit, and construction works were going on at the back, so please take extra precautions there. I hope temple management looks back on this matter.

Been going to this temple since childhood, well maintained and spacious. It's a Shivan temple and the deity in the main altar is Shivan as Lingam statue. Ganesha is on the left and Murugan on the right. My late father, Mr.Muthu Kumar used to volunteer for this temple and was marriage registrar for a while.

I like the temple yet I had the worst experience during the visit to this temple. My first visit to this temple became the worst visit 😞. Never seen this kind of temple management people in my life also the priests are being choosy in doing the prayers for those they know and for those who are new to the temple. Some priests were telling mantras according to their wish and not doing the full version of the prayers mantras. Too much of the worst experience compared to the good. Hopefully they will improve in the future without choosing people that they know and don't. Visitation to the temples mainly are for inner peace but here I don't get any of it just get hurt with their behaviours!!! Thanks to Lord Shiva for keeping me calm inside the temple surrounding by seeing all these...😊😊😊

The temple was awesome. However need to park beside road and no car parking provided, as the temple located just beside the road.

"Devotees" visiting this place lack common sense, general ethics and manners. The people working at the temple or volunteers are not polite and lack common manners. The place on the other hand is very serene and the energy is very noticeable during Pradosham.

Visited on Sani maha pradhosam. Temple timing is after 6pm only, so I waited for 1 hour & had dharshan. Clean & Spacious. All deities are present. Walkable from LRT BANSGAR BANKRAKYAT next to May bank tower, etiQia

Calm and peaceful oasis within the hustle and bustle of Bangsar. The unique feature in this temple is a collection of statues of all the principal Hindu saints by the side of the main deity, Lord Shiva.

After a long time came to visit this temple again. Temple and atmosphere still tip-top. Decided to do palam archanai (rm3 ticket). Priest only gave poo...I didnt see any fruit in the bag. A bit disappointed although for most this would have been a trivial issue . Better rename as poo archanai .

(Translated by Google) With a history of one hundred years, the service staff is very enthusiastic to explain, from the entrance to the door, it is necessary to take off shoes, the depth of the trip. (Original) 有一百年的歷史,服務人員很熱心的講解,從門口進去開始就要脫鞋子,地方深度之旅。

Beautiful and serene temple! It feels very good to just go there and sit and meditate. The brahmans are very good and friendly. We have been having our puja and yearly prayers for the dead here. They do the puja with proper rules and steps.

Beautiful temple. Can find following gods among many others: sivan, amman, ganesha, murugan, navagraham. Offers affordable bagavad gita, tevaram, yoga and tamil classes in affiliation with malaysian . Some of these courses are free of charge. Reasonable archanai and vilakku prices. Less one star because parking only on roadside. A bit unsafe for vehicle owners.

This is one of the most powerful temples in Malaysia and one of the oldest in the country. The temple has one of the most strong vibrations i have ever felt and realised, and sincere prayers here will always be fulfilled by the Lords. Though parking maybe an issue as its limited, its never a reason to not visit the humble abode of Lord Shiva.
